My husband was recommended by someone he worked with to get my ring here. We live about 1 1/2 hours from here, but I wouldn't go anywhere else! I don't even know where to begin to ...
describe Leslie. She will go out of her way to make sure you are 1000% satisfied with your rings. My husband had an idea of what I wanted for my engagement ring (since high school, I always wanted a princess cut diamond) and Leslie helped him pick out a simple, elegant but absolutely beautiful ring!
In the 2+ years we were engaged, I had lost weight and my rings became loose. When it came time, my engagement ring was resized perfectly and we tried putting the beads on my wedding band because it was an eternity ring and it is more difficult to resize because there are diamonds all the way around. Even with the beads, the ring was loose. The ring could not be replaced so we were going to have it resized. Leslie assured me that they have done it before and that I wouldn't even notice where they resized it. I will never trust anyone except Leslie! I am very particular and picky so when my ring came back, I inspected it very closely and she was right! My ring looked just as perfect as it did when I originally got it, and they had to downsize 1 whole size! If you want a beautiful ring with amazing customer service, you need to go here!
Rumanoff’s Fine Jewelry and Design truly made my wedding jewelry dreams come true! Not only did we purchase our beautiful wedding bands from them, but they also worked with my husb...
and to surprise me with the engagement ring of my dreams. The craftmanship and attention to detail were impeccable.
What truly set Rumanoff’s apart was their compassionate and personal touch. They created custom jewelry for my wedding day using my late father’s old jewelry, which allowed me to carry a piece of him with me as I walked down the aisle. This made my special day even more memorable.
A special thank you to Jonathan, who was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process. His expertise and dedication to ensuring every detail was perfect made the experience even more enjoyable.
The team at Rumanoff’s is talented, attentive, and dedicated to making each piece unique and personal. I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional service and the unforgettable pieces they created for us. If you’re looking for exquisite jewelry and a team that truly cares, Rumanoff’s Fine Jewelry and Design is the place to go.

e. She was extremely knowledgeable, reassuring and so personable each and every time we visited the store, she truly makes you feel like part of the family.
We were referred to Rumanoff's and I am so incredibly happy we went to see them for our wedding bands! My engagement ring was originally crafted in NY, but due to the pandemic the ...
jeweler and store never reopened. I told Rumanoff's that my engagement ring was two sizes too big, and they couldn’t have been of any more help to size it correctly in such a short amount of time. Our wedding bands are beautiful, and I will go every few months to get my diamonds cleaned. The professionalism and charisma from the staff is amazing.

rings, they also will help you custom design the ring of your dreams! Not only did the ring my fiancé and Doug created surpass any expectation I had, but my fiancé still raves about how smooth and stress free the entire process was. This small business makes you feel like you are apart of the family. I will truly never go anywhere else for jewelry!

ancé out. He was AMAZING! Extremely
personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuine. We spent a lot of time going over what we prefer for wedding bands, talking about our engagement story, and getting to know each other. If you are looking for a high quality, genuine, and trustworthy jeweler, this is the place to go. I work in customer service, so it is very important to me, and I would rate Rumanoff’s a 10 out of 10 on their service. I look forward to working with them in the future!! 😊💍
My husband and I visited three local jewelers when we first started our search for our wedding bands after getting screwed over for my engagement ring from Kay's. Plus I knew I wan...
ted to support local and knew we would get amazing quality - and that's best way to describe Rumanoff's is QUALITY. I got a wedding band that has diamonds half way around it to match my engagement ring and my husband got a tantalum, matte, black wedding band since he doesn't like anything fancy or flashy. These rings look so beautiful now that we get to wear them everyday! I visited Rumanoff's several times leading up to the wedding day and each time they happily cleaned and shined my engagement ring (which remember, wasn't purchased there). They even gave me some jewelry cleaner when we went to pick up the bands and also included a free rhodium plating for my engagement ring just for purchasing the bands there. This normally costs $50 but they wanted to include it so my bands would match perfectly when I started wearing the wedding band. Thank you so much to everyone at Rumanoff's - the entire family and staff is truly a delight to work with and I will continue to recommend them to everyone!
Thorough, extensive selection, not pushy, accommodating, professional

. Steve was always there for us - including a crisis a few months before my wedding where my ring got caught on something and ended up bending - I cried once it happened but Steve immediately took action and assured me they would get it fixed ASAP! We love Rumanoff’s so much that we purchased our wedding bands and other accessories through them. My husband and I cannot say enough about the warm, inviting feeling you get when you walk into their store. We have friends that purchased engagement rings in NYC or internationally - they do not have the pleasure of walking into a family friendly store like Rumanoff’s if something goes wrong. We couldn’t be happier to have built a relationship with Steve and Rumanoff’s and without a doubt recommend them to all!! You guys are the best!!

Doug was great and really let us take our time in deciding and comparing all of the options! I would not go anywhere else! Everyone there was very polite and it was like talking to actual people not a salesperson! So many options and price points and amazing quality. Highly recommend to anyone!

u’re all that matters while you’re there. They are personable, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and pay attention to detail. Of course, my favorite piece from Rumanoff’s is my engagement ring! Leslie Rumanoff did a phenomenal job helping my fiancé create the perfect ring (exactly what I love mixed with a little of his own creation)! I’m obsesssed! I cannot say enough about Rumanoff’s! Leslie, Steve, Doug, and Mike Rumanoff are all top-notch, one of a kind jewelers who really know what they are talking about. They make sure you are investing in exactly what you envisioned and they make sure the process is easy and fun. You're missing out if you don't go to Rumanoff's!

gle ring in the place without being any kind of pushy. She offered her opinion when we asked, and was so helpful. Once we decided on one, she made it completely stress free and kept all my information on file. I got my dream ring, and when we went for wedding bands, not only did she make sure we had an appointment for the Tacori event, she stayed with us and was so helpful for the entire time we both picked out our wedding bands. Rumanoff's is a treasure in Hamden. If you're looking for engagement rings, head here!

t only did they not pressure me to make a quick decision, they genuinely spent HOURS with me going over the different options on multiple occasions until I found the ring I knew my fiancee would love. You don't find that kind of customer service anywhere these days and I would gladly recommend Steve and his family to anyone I know looking for a ring or any other kind of jewelry.
Great people, experience, and results!
We heard of Rumanoffs through good friends of ours, made a trip to the store shortly after. We had an outstanding experience from the start!...
We worked with Doug, he was awesome; personable, attentive, knowledgeable, professional. The atmosphere is great; friendly and welcoming, staff was very attentive to everybody who walks through the door. Wait time is short, they value everybody on a personable level. Extremely pleasant to work with, expert knowledge, asks the right questions, works with you within the guidelines you present, no pressure at any point. The rings are stunning, engagement ring was perfect and tailored specific to our liking, couldn't be happier with the result! Wedding rings are equally beautiful! Doug made the experience fun and enjoyable, we are completely happy with our rings, we would do this all over again with Rumanoffs!

antastic. From the first time we were in contact I was comfortable. He completely understood how big a decision/purchase buying an engagement ring is, and was unbelievably patient with my questions and concerns. He walked me through all of the basics that I should be looking for, and I genuinely felt like he was more invested in me finding the right ring than simply selling me the most expensive one. I highly recommend Rumanoff's in general, and Doug in particular, if you're looking to buy an engagement ring. I bet he's also good at selling other kinds of jewelry as well. This Xmas I will be finding out.
Perfection is a real thing!
My family and I have been customers of Rumanoff's for a while now and have gone there for a number of jewelry related items. We have always had a more ...
than pleasant experience. When it came time to search for the perfect engagement ring, it was only evident that Rumanoff's was the place to go. When i first walked in, i really had no idea or inclination of what i wanted or where to look. DOUG! was there for me the entire step of the way, helping me to understand different types, styles, crown, setting, bands, etc. that had to do with engagement rings. He was very helpful and attentive to my needs and wants as a customer. Doug made the process very smooth with communicating on how everything works, such as time line, pricing, and pickup. Overall, I had a great experience at Rumanoff's with Doug and would highly recommend them anyone for their jewelry needs; especially in the engagement and wedding department. In the end the ring came out PERFECT. Exactly what i didn't know i was looking for! Doug was able to match the diamond to a beautiful classic elegant band. My now finance is very VERY happy and we cannot wait for the big day! Thanks again Rumanoff's and Doug!
Cheers!
You have to go here for your engagement ring!!! Leslie and team are of the utmost professionalism. No one knows more about diamonds than this group. The best thing about it is the ...
level of care and passion they place into how special you are and how important of a purchase this is. I promise you that investing in a ring here is the best decision you could ever make!!!! I heard they even pulled out my Pinterest board and advised my fiancé without pressuring on what I would like. They walked him through the cut, clarity, etc. giving as much education and background as possible. I went back in for a touch up and they treated me like their golden customer. This is how they make everyone feel!!!!

It truly felt like they are invested in on happiness, which is a hard thing to come by. We fell in love with a Tacori ring. They made it so super easy for us - by taking down all of our style info, sizing, etc. When my fiancé was ready to purchase it was a streamlined, simple process for him to call in and order my ring. The ring is even more beautiful than I remembered. We can't say enough great things about the team at Rumanoff's. We loved our experience so much that despite having moved over an hour away, we will most definitely be making the drive back down to their shop to pick out wedding bands. It'll be more than worth it!

edgeable, patient, and understanding. He worked with me over the course of 5-6 visits designing the perfect ring for my wife, and I was blown away with the final product. My wife absolutely loved the ring! Doug also did his absolute best to help me pick out my dream engagement ring while respecting my budget, which earned him my respect early on in the process. We were so impressed by the whole operation that we went back and ought both of our wedding bands from Rumanoff's. I strongly recommend Rumanoff's to anyone who is getting engaged in CT. It is absolutely worth the drive to Hamden. I have since sent two of my friends into Rumanoff's to shop for engagement rings, and from what I understand they both had equally excellent experiences.
