file (!!!) Before booking, we met with her so she could get to know us & our relationship. After that, she sent over a set of thoughtful questions for each of us to answer, which she used to create a personalized ceremony draft. She also shared tons of helpful info on unity ceremony options & vow styles, which really helped us figure out what felt like us! We loved how collaborative the whole process was. When we sent her feedback on the draft (during a week when my fiancé & I were both at work conferences in different states struggling lol) she was so patient, kind, & responsive. We made a lot of edits, & she turned them around quickly. She never made us feel like a burden, even though we were a little all over the place that week. Windi’s experience really shined in the way she handled the rehearsal & ceremony. She already knew our venue & the staff, which helped us feel instantly at ease. We didn’t get to rehearse with our full wedding party ahead of time, but day of, she gathered everyone, explained exactly what to do, & got us all organized in minutes. She coached my maids of honor on how to fluff my dress/veil, how to hand off the bouquet, where to stand, every little thing. We chose to do a ring warming ceremony, & Windi made it feel intentional and seamless. She made sure the rings were with the right people at the right time & explained it beautifully to our guests. The ceremony felt so personal, smooth, & special, exactly what we hoped for. She also handled all the marriage license stuff after the wedding, which was awesome. While we were still on our honeymoon, she let us know it had been processed & gave us the info to order our marriage abstracts right away which I especially appreciated because I’m pumped to get my name change going :) We would recommend Windi to *anyone* getting married. A bad officiant can really throw off the entire tone of the day, but Windi brought so much calm, presence, & personality. She removed every ounce of stress from our ceremony & helped make it one of the most meaningful parts of the whole weekend. Truly one of the best decisions we made!! Thank you, Windi!!

ut the couple. The worst is when they read off the cell phone. We didn't want a package deal where we had no choice in who married us. This was the most important part to my husband and I, our ceremony that brought us together as husband and wife. Windi met with us online (we were 4 hours away) so we could see each other face to face and everything just clicked. We knew she was the one we had to work with. She wrote our ceremony around us. It was perfect. When we met her the day of she gave us both encouraging advice. We felt like we'd known her forever. She was 100% real with us. She even brought mints :) We absolutely chose the perfect person to unite us in marriage. She is the best of the best!

However, the most impressive part was the absolutely beautiful ceremony Windi wrote for us. She has such a gift for writing and perfectly captured who we are as a couple. Then we get to the wedding day. Windi is early, prepared. Offers to hold my vows, carry our cords for the handfasting ritual, and anything else we need. After the ceremony, she helps wrangle our pup so we can get photos with and without her. I can't recommend Windi highly enough if you are looking for an all around great human who will go above and beyond to help take some of the stress out of your planning and wedding day, and will even throw in a beautifully written ceremony that will make you feel like she has known you for decades.
