The most adorable and cozy venue for our winter wedding! The staff was incredible and attentive, the building was clean, and overall the vibe was immaculate. They flipped the room for our ceremony to our reception as well, and both set ups were gorgeous!

We were treated like royalty. From the first time we went in Feb of 2023 until the day of the wedding 2/3/24. The food, employees and bartenders were top notch. The event staff is the BEST!!! Kaitlyn, Jessice, Riley, Josh, Heather the Bartender and Joe the manager. Heather was our concierge, she was an absolute Godsend. We wanted for nothing!! I will recommend Running Deer to everyone I know. I was so relaxed the entire day. Only thing I wanted to do that day was dress my daughter, and that is all I had to do. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most magical day.

My husband and I got married in November at running deer golf club. From the moment we toured the venue we knew this is where we would get married. All of the staff, Jessica, Kaitlyn, and our concierge Donna went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough for being apart of our day and making it even more special. They kept everything running smoothly and I had no worries the day of our wedding. I seriously can’t recommend running deer enough. Thank you for everything!

From day one we knew everything would be perfect. Due to limited time that we wanted for our wedding day, we actually chose running deer sight unseen. That was the absolute best decision we could ever done. Jessica was there every step of the way from when I had the random questions to the more complicated ones. The food was absolutely amazing( my favorite was the mac and cheese and the perfectly cooked filet!), all of our guest have been ranting and raving how beautiful and fun the wedding was. The day of the wedding went flawless. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Jessica and our concierge Aubrey were there every step of the way! We never had to ask for anything. If I needed a drink it was already in my hand before it could come out of my mouth. You would be crazy not to have your wedding here.

Running Deer now feels like our second home. We booked running deer two years before our wedding date and they still made us feel so important throughout our planning process the entire events team was there for any question or concern that we had during the time we were planning our wedding. Jessica, our wedding coordinator may absolute wedding dreams come true. She was absolutely amazing to work with and was there for us throughout our entire planning process Aubrey, our wedding concierge was our best friend on our wedding day. She did absolutely everything for us and we didn’t have a care in the world besides having the best time on our special day, our guest have been raving about Running Deer staff, the food and the wonderful time they had. We couldn’t recommend Running Deer enough.

We toured only one venue: Running Deer. We booked it immediately (two months before we were even engaged) because October dates were going fast. We got married of October 27th 2023 and from the very start of this process, Running Deer was absolutely amazing. The communication flowed flawlessly at all times. Miranda, Kate and later, Jessica are VERY professional. Even more so, they are friendly and were just as excited for our wedding as we were. I cannot express enough how helpful it was to have this team on our side. No question was too small and no matter how many emails we sent, they were always there with a smile in their responses. When it came down to the wire, Jessica was our main point of contact and when I tell you things wouldn’t have gone so perfectly without her guidance, I mean it. Running Deer checked all of our boxes. It is beautiful, affordable, and the food is delicious. Our wedding was over a month ago and people are still telling me how beautiful our venue was and how great the food we picked was. The service was top notch. The attention to detail when setting up the lobby and reception room with our decor blew us away. Everything was exactly as we pictured it would be. It was truly a spectacular day without any hiccups and we owe that to Running Deer’s staff. Thank you SO much for making our wedding day dreams come true. It was a day we will never, ever forget.

Jessica and Miranda were the perfect team that we needed to make sure our wedding was as perfect as we’d imagined. We initially met with Miranda to tour the venue and put a deposit down the same day. The venue had a major upgrade for the bridal suite which is so pretty and a practical space for getting ready. Both were pretty responsive throughout the planning process. They were able to answer any questions I had and accommodated our smaller wedding guest list. We worked on all of the material sent to us and finalized all the details at the details meeting. Now, to talk about the day of! I couldn’t have been more thankful and grateful for the Running Deer Team. From the moment we showed up (very early might I add) I was greeted with such a helpful team and people ready to assist in any way possible. I even got a golf cart escort to the bridal suite since the driver saw me walking with a few bags! Jessica was on top of everything from decorations, to seating, to my needs, and anything else that came up. She was super helpful for all of our vendors as well. If there were any issues, I was not aware of them and felt very relaxed. My whole vision was brought to life by their team. Food: DELICIOUS! We had a Sunday brunch wedding. The brunch buffet had a great variety of food to satisfy all guests. We even had a vegetarian guest who chose from the vegetarian menu and they were extremely satisfied. The cocktail hour food was also perfect. They had vegetables and assorted cheeses available. We chose the shrimp ceviche, cheesesteak spring rolls, steak with chimichurri, Asian broccoli slaw wontons, and chicken and waffles. We loved each of our choices and our guests couldn’t praise the cocktail hour food more. Professionalism: The team at Running Deer was extremely professional and was on top of everything throughout the day. We did not have any issues with staff while we were there. Sometimes it was hard to get a response through email, however, once I expressed my concern, they immediately called me and made sure it didn’t happen again. Pricing: We felt the venue and all the charges were extremely fair. They were very flexible with the open bar (we chose only bar and wine), amount of guests, and any changes we had to make. Photographic: The entire venue has great locations for photographs based on your personal preference! It was a bit hot on our wedding day, so we chose to stay in shady areas, however, there are so many great spots for photographs.

Ever since my husband and I toured this venue back in Jan 2021 we knew we needed to get married here! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the ballroom is gorgeous with high ceilings and large breathtaking windows. We just got married here on 11/11/23 and everything about the day and planning process leading up to it was nice and smooth. Running Deer has the best staff, especially Heather D, Jessica N, Katie, Dominic and Heather at the bar. The food and drinks all looked and tasted great, and the communication was excellent. I cannot recommend Running Deer enough. I am so happy we found this venue and so grateful to the team for making our day better than we could have ever imagined!

The experience we had with Jessica at Running Deer was perfect. Communication was wonderful throughout the planning process. Food was amazing and we danced the entire night away!!!!! Highly recommend

My wife and I can't say enough about the amazing experience of getting married at Running Deer. First of all the location is beautiful. The club is in a gorgeous rural area at the end of a long road with beautiful homes on either side. It feels so private. We got married in The Timbers outdoor seating area amongst the trees away from the building (highly recommend). There is a large patio area for outdoor cocktail hour, but we were also guests at a wedding that had their cocktail hour inside and that worked fine as well. The ballroom is spacious (we had 15 guest tables fit easily). Running Deer is a popular venue and many local vendors are used to working there, it seems. Our photographer and videographer had been there many times and knew the best shots to get. They worked seamlessly with the wedding coordinators. Speaking of, shout out to Miranda, Jessica, and all of the staff who helped us throughout the process. They were very quick to respond to emails and explained things well. We had a long details meeting about 3 months in advance of the wedding date and then handled smaller things via email from there on. Rehearsal night and morning of, they were accessible and let us work on setting things up in the space. They have comfortable bride and groom suites, many beautiful decorative items available to borrow, a room dedicated to a dessert buffet (at least we made sure to include this in our package), fire pits outside, and they work with a local bakery so the cake is included in the package. I can't imagine having a much easier time planning a wedding. Running Deer made it an incredible night for us.

We cannot thank Jessica and our concierge, Aubrey enough for making sure our day was perfect. They were both so attentive and helpful and we were so thankful for them! They set up everything exactly how we pictured and ensured we were taken care of all day. They were the absolute best. We could not have asked for a better day!

We got married at Running Deer Golf Club last Saturday and it was the most perfect day. I cannot recommend Running Deer enough. The planning process went so smooth and everything I asked for they said yes to. They were very accommodating. Kaitlyn and Jessica were so helpful and answered all my emails quickly. The day of the wedding was amazing! We originally planned to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside, but it ended up raining. Having everything inside was so nice that I couldn't even be upset about the rain! I gave them all the decor and they set everything up beautifully. All the staff went above and beyond. Heather D was a legit saint! My husband’s button fell off his tux right before our first look and she whipped out a needle and thread and sewed it back on. My dress got wet from the rain, and she took me into a room and blow dried it for me. Our drinks were never empty, and she made sure we had everything we needed all night. Not only us, but our guests as well. The next morning all our guests were talking about how amazing the staff was and how delicious the food was! Everyone said it was the best steak they ever had! I can't thank everyone at Running Deer enough for making our wedding the most amazing day ever!

From the second we entered our tour, we knew Running Deer was where we wanted to get married. Every single thing was perfect, from the communication for our VERY LONG engagement, to the food tasting, our 3 month meeting, to even after our wedding. I am somewhat of a control freak, but i had no issues trusting Kaitlyn, Jessica, and the entire team at running deer to make our day beautiful. During our meal selection, Kaitlyn was honest in her thoughts and helped us create the most delicious cocktail hour- get the bacon wrapped dates- you WON'T regret it. The asian bar, the mac n cheese bar, the walk around apps- people are RAVING about all of the food we had. NOTHING was bad. Our Fairy God Mother, Heather, was the LIGHT OF MY LIFE all day. She was always there with a new drink (and a sippy cup!!!!), running around to ensure my husband and I were having fun, and EVEN PUT MY SOCKS ON FOR ME EVEN WHEN I TOLD HER I WOULD DO IT!! She was nothing short of amazing, and my husband and I can't stop talking about her. The entire day was so smooth, even with a chance of rain. We also had our rehearsal brunch at Running Deer, and that was just as smooth as the day of our wedding. I CANNOT recommend Running Deer enough, and we are so grateful to have had our wedding here.

My now husband & I fell in love with this venue! The entire staff at Running Deer was kind, personable, super responsive and SO HELPFUL during the planning process. Our wedding coordinator, Jess, went above and beyond for us from the first details meeting up to wedding day! Jess was by our side all of wedding day, making sure we were well taken care of & never without a drink in our hand ;) She even bustled my 3 layer dress!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and food was excellent. I will never have enough amazing things to say about Running Deer. 100/10 recommend!!

Running Deer is the most perfect wedding venue. We worked with Jessica, Kaitlyn and Miranda to plan our wedding 2yrs in the making and celebrated on 9/1. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to cater to not only me & the groom, but all of our guests!! They are accommodating, friendly and have incredible employees. The food was delicious; our guests obsessed over cocktail hour. The suites were comfortable, the ballroom, pagoda and timbers are stunning- I can't say enough amazing things about RD. I can't wait for our pictures because every spot is gorgeous. Book your tour and you will understand!!

We had our wedding at Running Deer on June 17th and when I say that everything about the day was perfect I really do mean it. The team at Running Deer did the most incredible job making our wedding day everything that we had dreamed about and more. They really took our vision for the day and completely knocked it out of the park. Not a single thing went wrong from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everything ran so smoothly and our guests had so much fun that they are still raving about it. From the moment we stepped into Running Deer we knew it was going to be our place and everyone we worked with throughout the entire process was so lovely and professional. We worked closely with Miranda and Kate from the beginning of the process through to the wedding day and they were so communicative and quick to respond and both incredibly kind and absolutely lovely people to work with. Jessica and Heather were with us every step of the way on the day off and they were both amazing. They anticipated every need and helped keep the day flowing smoothly so that we could just enjoy every moment of it. The wait staff and bartenders did an excellent job taking care of our guests and the food was incredible. Appetizer food has always been our favorite foods at every wedding and Running Deer absolutely crushed it. We couldn’t have been happier with how amazing our wedding at Running Deer was and we will be raving about it to anyone who will listen for the foreseeable future.

We got married at Running Deer Golf Club last weekend and they did a phenomenal job. The ballroom is gorgeous, and the prices are reasonable, but what puts this place over the top is the incredible customer service! Miranda was extremely welcoming from the first showing and her hospitality was equally matched by the day of coordinators Jessica, Heather and the rest of the event staff. The only downfall to this location was that the ballroom was very hot with 150 people in July, but that’s pretty much expected and they do everything possible to make you and your guests comfortable. Overall, we had an amazing wedding experience!

Our wedding at Running Deer was BEYOND our wildest dreams. Everything went absolutely perfectly. Miranda guided us through the process from our initial visit and tour, and was so friendly and helpful through the entire process. As the wedding came closer, we were working with Kate who was incredibly sweet and tolerant of all of my questions and emails. The day of our wedding Jess helped us through our morning and made us feel very welcome. After the ceremony we were helped by Heather who we are in awe of. She was on the ball with absolutely everything. I never expected to have so much amazing help on our wedding day. Every little thing one of our family members needed was almost anticipated by Heather before we could even ask. She truly was one of the highlights of our day by virtue of her making every single aspect of the day a breeze - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I am SO pleased with the service we received at Running Deer and will be raving about them to anyone who will listen for the foreseeable future!

I could not be happier with our experience at Running Deer for our wedding! To start off, the staff are incredibly helpful, welcoming, flexible, and exceed all expectations! Jessica was our point person and she did an amazing job. She was attentive and always helpful when I had questions! The venue itself is incredible! We had our wedding at Running Deer Golf Club in June 2023 & it was the BEST day of our lives! If I could give Running Deer & their staff 500 stars I would. We didn't love the idea of a seated dinner, so they helped us throw the best cocktail reception with plenty of delicious food and so much time for dancing. Jessica, Kaitlyn & Heather are absolute angels and helped us throughout every second of the day. They even lint rolled some bugs off of my dress, lol we didn't even have a chance to be stressed because they handled everything so flawlessly. They set up our decor, moved some decorations and reminded me of plenty of things I would have forgotten day of. This venue looks like it should cost you a million bucks, but the best part is it is very reasonable and so accommodating. They had the most spacious and beautiful bride and groom suites, the cutest outdoor spaces and so much more. Don't think twice, Running Deer is the best. You won't be disappointed!

I would recommend this place to anyone! They did everything that could and waited at my hand and feet they were so friendly and so attentive i loved all of the staff but Jessica N, & Heather D were so awesome and i just overall loved every single thing about the staff the place and how everything turned out everyone told us it was the best wedding they ever went too! Truly, I cannot say enough about Running Deer Golf Club. I felt so at home from the very beginning. They answered every question I had right away and were amazingly kind through the whole process of planning. On the day of, they ABSOLUTELY knocked it out of the park. I did not have one stress at the venue, they took care of everything. The food was amazing, and it’s so scenic and adorable I just loved it. 1,000,000 out of 10 recommend!!!

We cannot speak highly enough about Running Deer, the venue itself but most importantly the staff. They made our wedding process organized, easy, and simple. They were beyond helpful pre, during and post wedding. During our big day we never needed to stress about the timeline, the guests or if we had a drink in our hand or food to eat. The venue itself is clean, beautiful and organized quickly between the ceremony and reception. The spaces were bright and beautiful, a great backdrop for photos! My wedding was at Running Deer this month, and everything was amazing! Staff were helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly. ABOLUTELY THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE BECAUSE OF RUNNING DEER! Not a single thought of stress leading up to or day of! My husband and I fell in love with this venue when we walked it. The staff is even more amazing when dealing with them as you start to get to the end of planning! Miranda and Kaitlyn were AMAZING, every single question answered straight forward and they were just so extremely helpful and reassuring! Day of we had Jessica & Heather OMG i wish i could have tipped them 10x more than what we did because they were amazing! The grounds and venue are beautiful, the guests loved the food and since we had a December wedding the venue has so much decor already done that went with my colors and theme amazing. We cannot thank them enough for our perfect day & we wish we could do it again!

My wedding was 3 weeks ago and I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else! The team there ( who I personally worked with ) Miranda, Kate and my day of coordinator, Donna, were spectacular. They always answered any questions I had and Donna made sure my husband and I were constantly attended to the day of. They made the process so easy! I am still getting texts and calls on how wonderful everything was, especially the food! The mac and cheese was a HUGE hit. I wish I could relive that day all over again!

I cannot recommend Running Deer Golf Club enough! Everyone we worked with went above and beyond to make the whole planning process as seamless as possible. We worked mostly with Miranda in the beginning and then Kaitlyn towards the end and both of them are so kind, professional, attentive, and accommodating. Any little question we had they were there to guide us and accommodate all of our needs. The planning process was literally a dream with how helpful Kaitlyn was to us! The day of our wedding, I could cry at how perfect everything was. Jessica went absolutely above and beyond to make our morning perfect and set everything up better than I could have imagined. She truly set the tone for the whole day. Heather was our concierge throughout the whole wedding and I am not kidding when I say I have never felt more cared for in my life than I did with Heather. She took such great care of us as well as everyone else. Our drinks were never empty, she constantly brought us food, literally anything we needed or didn’t even know we needed Heather was there. And not only that, she was so unbelievably kind and accommodating. Running Deer was easily the best choice we could have made. The aesthetic was gorgeous, EVERY worker was incredible, and the food was to die for. I still have people texting me about how amazing everything was and the portions were so big it was amazing. Thank you RD for the best wedding day we could have imagined. It was better than anything I’ve ever dreamed for my wedding day!

They were so accommodating and helpful throughout our wedding planning process and made the day of our wedding go as smooth as possible. I couldn’t have picked a better venue or asked for a better event team for my wedding day! With a large party of 19 people, the team acted like they’ve done this a time or two. Everything was executed perfectly, Jessica, Donna and Kait were all amazing. They were truly there the whole time through the planning process, rehearsal and the wedding day! They decorated so nicely, and the food was top notch, people are still telling me it was so good!! All the girls were by my side throughout the day for anything we could’ve needed. Truly a wonderful venue and team!plus Jaws was there too!! I’m praying one of my friends also have a wedding at Running Deer so I can relive it all over again!

Running Deer is simply the best and we wish we can go back and get married there again! From the moment we took a tour there, we felt at home and knew we had to get married there. The venue itself is just beautiful, from the wooden flooring and high ceilings, to the outside ceremony spaces (Timber space is where we had the ceremony and it was absolutely amazing), the bridal suite and bar area. The staff is TOP NOTCH. Miranda, Kaitlyn, Jessica, and Donna are the best and will make sure every detail is taken care of! I even had an issue with my hotel and the room where we were going to get ready in there, but Miranda and team were my angels and took care of everything for us the night before the wedding to make sure we could use the bridal suite at Running Deer. The waitstaff was amazing. It ended up raining right at the very end of our ceremony and they flipped cocktail hour SO fast to be inside. The food was SO great, our guests complimented it endlessly!! We had the absolute best day (so did our guests) and we can't say enough good things about this venue and its' people.

Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect our wedding was at Running Deer Golf Club. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but they also have the most talented and incredible staff that is very present, attentive, and easy to work with from start to finish. Michael was so accommodating to us, our families and bridal party needs and answered all of our questions along the way. Jessica brought all of our wedding visions to life and made the wedding morning so calming, and stress-free. Heather was absolutely incredible. She made our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so organized and seamless. She gave us direction and guidance for every step of the day. She not only made us feel comfortable, but both of our families and bridal party. Our guests even mentioned how absolutely amazing she was. We cannot thank the RD team enough for providing us with the wedding of our dreams.

BEST. DAY. EVER. No exaggeration - Running Deer went above and beyond any expectations we had for our wedding day. My husband and I looked at several venues, but both absolutely LOVED Running Deer. There was one date available 6 months out, and we jumped to book it. Kate was always available to answer any questions I had (I had millions), always patient and gave me her honest opinion which was so valuable to me. When we had our details meeting, any stress I had literally melted away. We dropped all of our things at Running Deer before the wedding, and I just knew that everything would be great when we came back for our wedding day. GREAT is an understatement. Everything was absolutely PERFECT. Everything was set up even more beautifully than I had ever dreamed. Heather was our girl that day and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She was there for everything I needed and made me feel like a QUEEN. My parents raved about how attentive she was: from bustling my dress, to bringing drinks, to anything else you could think of. She took care of every single detail and worked her butt off to make sure my day was absolutely perfect. We have gotten so many compliments since our wedding - how amazing the food was, how beautiful the venue was, and just how much fun everything was. Selecting Running Deer for our wedding venue was the easiest and BEST decision we made in planning our wedding and we are so grateful to Kate and Heather for making our dream wedding a reality.

Here is another well deserved, raving review of Running Deer! We had visited at least 10 venues before finding Running Deer and immediately loved everything about it. The grounds are beautiful and loved that there are 2 different options for the ceremony to fit your vibe. Even though it is in South Jersey and at least 2 hours away for the majority of our guests, it was SO worth it! The staff is amazing, especially Miranda and Kate with being so kind and helpful with the whole process. Heather was our day of coordinator, the fairy godmother we didn't know we needed! She made sure we were fed, even having our cocktail hour food at our sweetheart table because we were too busy taking pictures with the guests to actually eat what she brought us, and had a drink in our hands at all times, even refilling my champagne glass with cold champagne since I was nursing it for a while (the thoughtfulness!!!). The food is so delicious, definitely best wedding food I've ever had, and I'm not being biased. The mediterranean sea bass was my personal favorite entree and I'm STILL thinking about the fried mushroom ravioli. They even packed up the leftovers for us, including cake for dayss. Everything was set up perfectly, we didn't have to worry about a thing on the wedding day. The one concern I did have was fitting the max of 200 people in the ballroom, but it made the entire wedding feel more intimate and there was still plenty of dance floor. Hello! I want to start off by saying that I never leave reviews! This is to anyone that is curious or wondering about having a wedding at the Running Deer Golf Club. The biggest things we and our guest raved about, in no order, was The Venue, The Food, and The Professionalism. THE VENUE: This venue was nothing short of Amazing! Literally spectacular! My wife and I couldn't be happier to have done it at this venue. Our Wedding was in mid-August so we decided to do an inside wedding. The lighting inside was beautiful! We had the cocktail hour outside near the pergola and our guest loved it!! We also had our private vows at the pergola and we captured some amazing pictures. Our bridal party took their own pictures from inside which was also nice. My wife and I also had a feet washing ceremony and we did this at the Timbers. The Timbers was also an amazing spot to take photos during our ceremony. The Rooms for the party were top notch! The guys lockeroom was very big and comfortable. My Wife said that the bridal suite was very spacious and comfortable. They had everything she needed. THE FOOD: I'll be honest and say that we were super busy through our day and didn't get to enjoy as much food as we wanted. We had some the next day and it was still delicious. During our time there I had some of the steak and it was the best steak I ever had. We had a Buffett style for dinner and our guest loved it! The roasted potatoes were to die for! The champagne chicken was also a hit at our wedding alongside the shrimp cocktails. If you have a wedding here, you HAVE to have the Chocolate Room!! It was one of the best things at our wedding and our guests loved it!! I won't spoil how amazing it is, just trust me! THE PROFESSIONALISM: The Professionalism was 20/10. They outdid themselves!! Big Shoutout to the team that helped us! Heather, Jessica, and Kaitlyn coordinated everything seamlessly. Jessica and Kaitlyn were always in touch with my Wife and I over emails. They were responsive at all times! Heather was a gem!! She was there to help at any and every point in time. Our family and friends loved her! This team was awesome! Running Deer Golf Club is nothing short of amazing. The venue itself is stunningly beautiful. You will not find a better staff anywhere. Miranda and Kaitlyn are kind, knowledgeable, and got back to me within 24 hours every time I had a question. They genuinely care about you and making your day the wedding of your dreams. The wait staff, concierge, and bartenders were attentive, professional, and personable. Our wedding concierge, Donna, made sure that we ate, had fresh drinks in our hands, and that we were comfortable at all times. She was absolutely amazing. Additionally, our guests are still talking about how delicious the appetizers, dinner, and dessert room were. All in all, you cannot go wrong with Running Deer Golf Club. It has everything you want and more! I am so glad we went with them!

Honestly can't speak highly enough of Running Deer. Everything from start to finish met or exceeded our expectations greatly. Miranda, Kaitlyn and Heather are top notch at everything they do. From the lead up and prep stuff to the day of, they were nothing short of spectacular. The staff for the event were all excellent and the food got rave reviews from everyone. This was very important to us and they knocked it out of the park. In addition to all this Running Deer was the cheapest venue we priced out and we received much more than we would have anywhere else. Almost a month later we're still getting calls and texts about how great of a time everyone had and how great the venue was. Can't recommend them enough.

I can not thank the staff at Running Deer enough for everything they have done to make our wedding the most memorable day of our lives. A month later and we are still on cloud 9! From start to finish, our wedding day went extremely smooth, and we owe this to all the staff members at Running Deer. Everyone at Running Deer had been so helpful from the time we booked our date to the day of our wedding. They have answered every single question and made sure they did everything they could to make our day so special for us. On the day of our wedding, I was amazed with how beautifully the staff set up the venue! Not only was the venue decorated perfectly, but someone was ALWAYS there to lend a helping hand, answer any questions, make sure the timeline of the day ran smoothly and so much more. From the moment I saw Running Deer’s profile on The Knot I knew they would fit my vision for my wedding PERFECTLY. Not only do they aesthetically fit the whimsical, woodland, and rustic vibe I was looking for, but their staff is top-notch. Running Deer is incredibly personable and well organized. They answer all your questions- even when you could’ve just read the FAQ a bit better (ha!). They have tastings for you and two guests, they have plenty of materials/supplies for you to borrow (even an arch!!), and they even include food, an open bar, cake, most gratuities, a day-of-coordinator, and a Maitre D in your contract!! The staff is wonderful and will really become your family. I actually GOT SICK at my wedding from the adrenaline crash (OTL not my finest moment) and my fairy godmother had an ice pack, ginger ale, and a stand-up fan placed right at my table for me. She had the vendors back off as well as redirected guests so I could relax with my husband, all while making it seem like nothing was wrong. Even my PARENTS didn’t know until much later how I was feeling. The venue’s design itself is breathtaking. The reception hall is gorgeous for a ceremony if needed, too. I personally chose my venue based on both their outdoor and indoor ceremony spots because I wanted to plan for all types of weather. Since Running Deer has a separate room for the bar as well as a separate bar for cocktail hour if need be, you can rest assured that there will be plenty of space for your guests. I had 125 people at my wedding and I did not feel cramped. I believe that 150 is the max I would have had if I invited more people, though, as the dancefloor will be eaten away by tables as you add more guests. HONESTLY if you want any sort of woodland, whimsical, rustic, greenery wedding I STRONGLY suggest Running Deer and their suggested vendors list. The work is done for you, just sign the check! Ha!

I can't say enough great things about our entire experience at Running Deer! Miranda then shifting to Kate were amazing from start to finish in planning our dream wedding! All of the small and big questions I had, Kate always had a prompt detailed answer. Planning our tasting was so easy and Kate was with us every step of the way making the planning process so easy! We had our rehearsal and dinner which was awesome and orchestrated by Heather who was also our day of coordinator! I know exactly why everyone calls her the fairy godmother! She was incredible and with us for every step of the way, at our beck and call. Whatever we needed, she got it. Our drinks and plates were always full. The food was incredible, our guests still can't stop talking about it! We had the time of our life and can't thank everyone at Running Deer enough! Highly recommend! A+++!

Running Deer made our wedding dreams become reality. I cannot say enough good things about them - they are BEYOND amazing!! The venue itself is gorgeous, and we were able to have our ceremony outside in their beautiful wooded Timbers area - a literal magical fairytale. We fell in love with the venue immediately. The natural rustic decor, high ballroom ceilings, delicious food options, chocolate room, sangria bar etc.. they had it ALL. We worked with Kaitlyn, who is so incredibly sweet and patient. She always responded quickly and was so helpful throughout the process. We also worked with Miranda, who was so patient with our ever-changing plans due to the pandemic. She was incredibly sweet and accommodating. The whole staff made us feel SO special. The day of the wedding, Heather was our "fairy godmother", and I completely understand where the nickname comes from now. She went above and beyond to make sure our drinks stayed full and every little detail was taken care of - so we didn't worry about a single thing on our wedding. I could go on and on about how grateful we are for the amazing Running Deer staff, but this review would probably go over the word limit. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our guests raved about the staff, the food, and the dreamy ceremony location. I wish I could re-live it all over again! Our day was beyond perfect, and that was because of everyone at Running Deer Golf Club - the ABSOLUTE best!

Having our wedding at Running Deer was a dream! In addition to the ballroom and ceremony space meeting our aesthetic, what we really valued was the staff! Planning a wedding during a pandemic, was nothing short of stressful. Kaitlyn and Miranda answered every question and insecurity with confidence and kindness. The concierge team we were provided on the day of the wedding was incredible! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day!

We LOVE Running Deer! Absolutely everything went smoothly from start to finish. We worked with Kaitlyn in the months leading up to the wedding to work out details. She was easily accessible and answered my many questions/inquiries promptly. On the day, we worked with Donna, who provided excellent service to me and my husband. Anything we needed, she was on it; from keeping us on schedule, to keeping music at a reasonable level, to finding my slippers so I could get out of my heels, to keeping us hydrated, etc. All of the staff were amazing to work with and incredibly friendly. Additionally, the food was amazing! We decided on the buffet option and even the picky eaters in our families came out saying how good the food was! At the end of the night, the managers had asked us if they could have done anything differently/if we were happy. Even several days after our wedding, my husband and I could not think of a single thing that could have been done differently. The staff at Running Deer ensured that our day was absolutely perfect!

Kaitlyn was amazing! There is always a lot of details and choices to make when planning a wedding and every step of the way Kaitlyn was there to calm me down and make everything perfect. Everything went smoothly and it was truly a night to remember. Another person who was exceptional was Sydnie. She was my attendant for the night and she made sure I had everything I needed at all times. They both made this process and day very easy for me and I cannot thank them enough!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! I booked my wedding with Running Deer pre-COVID, and got married in November of 2021. And all I have to say is WOW! I could not have asked for a better venue. From the smallest of details to the biggest, everything about this venue was what I was dreaming of for my wedding. I did most of my planning with Kaitlyn, and she was just absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and responded very fast with any of my concerns or questions. Heather was our concierge on our wedding night, and she was incredible. Any issues that arose, she had it covered. Before I even had the words out of what I needed, she had it covered. She was so compassionate and caring. We LOVED Heather! The food... was so delicious! Everyone is still raving about it! The prime rib was by far one of the best prime rib's I have ever had. Heather even got us some doggie bags to take home. From cocktail hour to the farewell cookies, 5 stars all around! Overall Running Deer Golf Club made our Wedding dreams come true! Thank you Running Deer for the Best Day Ever!

I cannot say enough good things about Running Deer! My fiancé and I found this venue on the knot during the height of covid, scheduled 1 virtual tour via FaceTime, and immediately booked. We didn’t actually see the venue in person until our food tasting! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We ended up moving our ceremony and cocktail hour inside — like 2 hours before guests started to arrive — and the staff did such an amazing job accommodating that for us! Inside or outside, the venue is super romantic. The floor to ceiling windows are just so beautiful and the new bar renovations are just stunning. The food was SO GOOD. My fiancé and I devoured everything during our food tasting and during our private cocktail hour. We had so many compliments from our guests that they literally licked their plates clean. Not one person left that venue hungry!! Let’s start with Miranda. She was an absolute sweetheart! I felt like I had the most ridiculous questions and played “what if” with so many scenarios before we finalized our contract — and Miranda was there every step of the way. She responded to every email, every question, and was so patient with us. She never once made me feel like I was annoying her or waiting her time! She also let me and my now M.I.L. tour the venue again after my fiancé and I had our first virtual tour and our food tasting. Kaitlyn, bless her!! She was on top of every little detail. She made sure we were always on the same page before moving along. She kept us on track and was super organized. Kaitlyn answered every single email quickly and had an answer or solution to every question I had. She was so sweet and easy to work with. Heather — she was our angel sent from above, fairy godmother, and the GREATEST person ever. She took care of my husband and I the day of the wedding and we cannot say enough amazing things about her.
