Taylor was a wonderful help in assisting us with our special day. The Vineyard was beautiful during our wedding rehearsal and on our wedding day. The villa was wonderful as well for our reception.

I have nothing but great things to say about Taylor and her team. Taylor and her team were super responsive with any question or request we had for our big wedding day. The day of planning on the venue was great despite having to move the ceremony indoors due to the rain. I highly recommend planning an event/wedding here. The wine, vineyard and staff are worth it !

WE love Running Hare Vinyards for our wedding day. The venue was located on a beautiful vinyard with wonderful decor. We loved having everything in one location. The staff was very helpful through our the whole provess.

The venue is absolutely beautiful, especially in the spring, summer, and fall months. Taylor was very professional and responsive to emails when needed. Bartenders were great, and friendly. The only improvement I would suggest is making the bridal suite available the morning of the wedding, it was a headache to have a bigger wedding party get ready in a hotel room and there was also no groom suite. No provided transportation to and from bridal suite. Overall, gorgeous venue!

Amazing amazing venue. My wife and I wanted a nature based venue and the running here delivered. The landscape is breathtaking. The staff also worked with us and were flexible to ensure our needs and vision were met. Our guests were dazzled and impressed. Highly recommend.

We had our beautiful wedding here at the outside pavillian. We were lucky to have the venues event planner, Taylor. She worked with us from making sure everything went good on rehearsel night to our wedding day. She was amazing and so friendly.
We had our wedding at sunset and the pavillion was the perfect spot to see it. I would only suggest lights around the portal thats there because it was very dark in that area.

Our wedding at Running Hare Vineyard was a dream day come true. Everything from the coordination leading up to the big day, to the helpfulness of the staff, made the day go as smoothly as possible. The ceremony site is amazing, and the Villa for the reception had all of the right furnishings and lighting to make this an unforgettable day. Our event coordinator, Taylor, did an amazing job providing all the information and accomodations we requested. The bridal suite was also amazing. Had enough space to accomodate all of the bride and bridesmaids belongings, and also provided ample space for them to get ready for the day. The bathrooms were kept clean and fully stocked throughout the duration of the event. The bar staff were very friendly and professional. Working with their preferred vendors was a very pleasant experience, given their expertise and knowledge of the venue and past relationship with the staff. My Wife and I would definitely reccomend this venue to anyone that wants to make their wedding day the best and most memorable day of their lives.

Top Notch Venue! My daughter’s wedding was recently held there , views are beautiful with a vineyard, roses, pergola for ceremonies and Tuscan Villa with a gorgeous chandelier from Italy. Service from organizer Jennifer and manager Cheryl were above and beyond . Villa has a beautiful Portico which worked nicely since we did have a little rain, 2 bars , bridal suite and dance floor. The newlyweds are in awe and will certainly have beautiful photos with that setting on their big day .

Beautiful venue! We were so lucky everything went through due to COVID-19. The wedding was absolutely perfect and everyone was so amazing to work with! We will be continuing to go to Running Hare events in general because we loved it so much :) Some of my guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

I am so lucky and happy that I was able to have my wedding at a venue as gorgeous as Running Hare. The ceremony site is absolutely stunning and the views are amazing all of the way around. And to top it all off - the people are awesome to work with. Even in the middle of this crazy pandemic, they made sure that my wedding could go off without a hitch and were both accessible and easy to work with. I would highly recommend that anyone that wants to find an absolutely incredible place to get married, come here. It's a dream.

My dream wedding venue was a place where I didn't have to do much decorating because the venue was the backdrop. Running Hare Vineyard was perfect for this and did not disappoint! Not only was the venue absolutely breathtaking, the staff (shoutout to Taylor!) was kind, patient, knowledgable, and responsive. I didn't have one issue working with Running Hare while planning my wedding (seriously, not one). Every email and phone call was answered promptly and professionally. They went above and beyond (even gave me some unrelated wedding advice because I didn't know what I was doing!) to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. Have your wedding here and you won't regret it!

Having my wedding at Running Hare Vineyard was a dream come true! I have always wanted to travel to Europe but have not gotten there yet. From the moment that I saw the Vineyard, I fell in love. It was my taste of Europe right in Prince Frederick, MD.
Looking for venues was exhausting before my mother in law suggested Running Hare. I had looked at over 20 venues and none of them felt right. When I saw Running Hare, it stuck. I went home and slept on it and then made another appointment to see the Vineyard again. I knew it was the one for me the first time I saw it but the second time really brought everything home.
If you are looking for great professional and responsive staff, a beautiful space and some great wine, then Running Hare won't disappoint.

This venue was truly amazing. The ceremony site was perfect—it doesn’t need many flowers/decorations because of the greenery and flowers all around. The reception is set up in the Tuscan building. This is also a beautiful area. There are plenty of places for beautiful photos. There is also a beautiful bridal suite for the bridal party to get ready in two hours before the ceremony. Altogether, the venue was on the expensive side but totally worth it! Taylor answered all of my questions in a timely manner and was very helpful. I definitely recommend this venue for couples looking for a ceremony/reception site!

Our wedding at running hare was beautiful! It did pour down rain so we weren't able to use the ceremony site but having it inside was just as beautiful and very spacious. Also running hare let us come back another day in order to retake some pictures that we weren't able to get due to the rain. Having a venue willing to do something like that is very hard to come by! The staff there was very accommodating and made sure our day was wonderful. It's also nice that you can go to running hare and have wine tastings and relax. It allows us to reminisce back on our wedding day. We couldn't had picked a better venue to have our wedding at!

There is literally no word in the English language that I can use to properly embody this venue!! It is simply breath taking and such a dream to be married in the vines of the vineyard and celebrate your nuptials in the Tuscan Villa. Accompanied by the GORGEOUS chandelier that is literally out of "Beauty and the Beast" and "Phantom of the Opera" combined!
Taylor, the site manager, is an absolute joy to work with and really makes sure all of your questions and needs are met. She weaved in and out the day of the ceremony only popping up when you realized you needed her and was ready to do anything you need!
Seriously, book this venue. It will be the talk of your guests for MONTHS. It was a non stop discussion of how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything was orchestrated with their list of recommended vendors. It literally was my dream venue for our wedding day!

Running Hare was the perfect venue for us!! It was so beautiful and the pictures we captured in the vineyard and in the “vine tunnel” were amazing!!! Taylor was super easy to work with and answered all questions we had. So easy to talk to! We couldn’t have wish for anything better!!

We had our wedding at Running Hare in June 2018, it was AMAZING. Everyone at the vineyard is so easy to work with and everything is so beautiful. The caterer for you is phenomenal, everything was taken care of very professionally and I was completely stress-free on my wedding day!

Running Hare was the first and only wedding venue that we visited. I fell in love with it. They made planning very easy and recommended the perfect caterer to help make our wedding day perfect. You have to buy 4 cases of wine but we didn’t mind. Our guests drink lots of wine and the caterer made a delicious sangria with their Jack Rabbit red. It was a magical day and worth every penny.

My husband and I got engaged at Running Hare in 2015 and immediately after he asked, I knew that we would get married there. If you want to WOW your guests with an amazing venue, definitely choose Running Hare Vineyard. The new ceremony spot is absolutely gorgeous and the reception building transforms into a dream. Their exclusive caterer makes it a one stop shop for everything and they even give you a list of other preferred vendors in the area to make your whole planning process even easier. They are always accommodating and quick to answer any questions. We also love that we can come back anytime to enjoy some wine and reminisce on two of the best days of our lives. I can't recommend them enough!

This venue is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I fell in love with it the first time I did a wine tasting here (their wine is delicious!!). Barbara, the owner, is so sweet, very helpful and quickly responded to any questions I had. Their exclusive caterer, Maryland Country Caterers, were great as well...great food and excellent service. Everyone definitely went out of their way to make sure our day went perfect! A big thank you to Barbara and MCC!!

We had a late October wedding with the ceremony in the vineyard and it was beautiful. Reception followed on the Tuscan Villa on the hill and provided all of our guests with stunning views throughout the evening.

This was the most picturesque place to get married that we looked at. It is a Tuscan style vineyard right in the heart of Prince Frederick, Maryland. We got lucky with a beautiful Fall day, nice and sunny and warm enough to have our wedding outdoors in the vineyard itself, but we chose this place because it still would have been beautiful even if the day wasn't so cooperative. Barbara, the owner, is very friendly and easy to work with, and she was very full of suggestions for other venues that has been tried and true. I cannot wait to go back there with my husband and celebrate other special occasions or just sip on some wine and enjoy the views.

Running Hare Vineyard was the perfect place to hold a wedding. The views were stunning, the venue was beyond beautiful, and the reception hall was perfectly decorated for a wedding. Barb the owner was very professional to work with and I appreciated her personal touch of stopping by at the wedding and wishing me and my husband the best. The location was incredibly romantic and my family has said that they will be talking about this venue for a long time. I loved how we were able to get married amongst the vines and walk in the vineyard for pictures. It was a beautiful and unique location as many vineyards don’t allow you to walk in between the rows of vines. This is a wonderful location and I would recommend it to everyone.

We had a wonderful time at Running Hare. Barb was very pleasant to work with during our tour, and was quick to respond to any questions we had a long the way. I was lucky to have had a friend from high school get married there previously, so I knew then ends and outs, so there weren't many surprises. Did end up being kind of expensive for the venue alone, but I wouldn't have changed anything. It was beautiful.

Running Hare Vineyard is a gorgeous, tucked away spot. It made us feel like we were back in tuscany where we met. The weather was perfect on our day and everything came together so nicely! The only issues I would say would be the limitations the owner put on certain details. She doesn't allow the use of balloons, confetti, rice, or anything thrown on the property. She does not allow the use of candles indoors anymore, and overall seemed inflexible about certain issues. Concerning in/out time, you are allowed 5 hours total and starting at 5 we had to have all guests out by 10 and everything cleaned up by 11. And if not, we were charged a fee etc. She also gives you only two caterers to choose from. I can't say anything bad about the atmosphere because it is truly beautiful there however, the limitations that the owner has are a little uptight.

What struck me about the venue was it's simplistic beauty. (Okay, except the incredible chandelier...there is nothing simple about that impressive work of art!!) The vineyard itself is set on rolling hills, surrounded by lush foliage. Even in February (when we first visited) and March (the wedding month), I knew the location was the perfect backdrop for the biggest day of my life. My fiance loved that it seemed so secluded, despite being mere minutes from the center of Prince Frederick (very clsoe to hotels, stores, and restaurants...for those guests who don't want to have to drive too far).
RHV is an absolutely stunning venue with an even more stunning proprietor. Barb was such a pleasure to work with in planning our big day. She went out of her way to schedule a meeting with us, as she knew we were driving in from 2 hours away. Barb is a prompt and efficient email communicator, and responds to voicemails almost as quickly.
You must use one of two caterers pre-approved by Barb, and we went with Canard's Catering, owned by Lisa Kelly. Clearly Barb knows good business(wo)men when she meets them, because Lisa was the perfect coordinator and caterer for our day.
Your guests will be planning their next visit to RHV before they elave. Guaranteed!

We LOVED having our wedding at Running Hare Vineyard. Barb is amazing to work with and while they have several strong guidelines in place to protect their venue, they will do everything they can to ensure that the day runs perfectly for their brides!
The vineyard is breathtaking and the perfect place to get married. Barb answered every question I had (even the silly ones) quickly and seemed truly excited to celebrate our big daywith us. We HIGHLY reccomend Running Hare Vineyard for your own beautiful and unique wedding!

Running Hare Vineyard is a gorgeous place to have a wedding ceremony and reception. Barb S. was wonderful to work with and has great taste in vendors. Ask her about Heather Shea for day of planning. We used mostly all of her vendor suggestions. We were married in the fall and thankfully did not have rain so we were able to hold the ceremony outside which was gorgeous. We had shuttles taking guests from the ceremony to the reception even though it's not too far because it's hard to navigate in heels and a big hill to climb for elderly or disabled guests. The reception went perfectly. Dark red tablecloths look amazing in the space, especially since it's a vineyard. We had about 200 guests with a large dancing area and a full band which was a perfect fit. Any more than 21 tables in the space (with a band and dance floor) would be pretty tight. Everyone raved about the vineyard, ceremony sight, wine, (especially the wine) and reception hall. You can't go wrong with Running Hare!!!

When I first saw this venue, I just knew this was where I had to get married. And after I met Barb and did the tour, I was committed. There was never a bad or imperfect place to take pictures...breathtaking views in every direction. Quiet, peaceful, definitely not your typical wedding cliche! I loved it and so did every single one of my guests! Thanks Barb!

We had our wedding @ Running Hare Vineyard (RHV) in Prince Frederick, MD. It's amazing that this place exists in Southern Maryland. Back when we were originally deciding where to have our wedding ceremony/reception we looked at RHV, but they did not have an events building so we moved on. A few months later (still with no venue) I got an email from them that included plans for a building. I immediately set up an appointment and we booked it that day. The views from the building are gorgeous, it looks like a small piece of Tuscany/Napa was plucked out and put right there. Barb, the owner/events coordinator, was so friendly and helpful through the whole process. I would recommend getting married here.
