We realize you’re frustrated with your post-wedding experience; however it is my understanding that the wedding was highly regarded by the Bride & your son, the Groom. We personally spoke with both Sydney & Paul the day after the wedding and learned later of them also speaking to my son, Devin, who was also working on site that day. We both received nothing but compliments from them both regarding the wedding day and how happy they were with their entire experience. Our Event Manager, Emily, did hear from Sydney the day following, when Sydney reached out alerting us of the ticks they found, however her messaging was solely in relation to her concern for our future guests. We can see how, on this occasion, it is frustrating to leave the venue and experience the discovery of ticks amongst various attendees. However, being that the wedding took place in our outdoor ceremony space in the woods (which is completely separate from our Event Center/Pavilions), we have no guarantee on Mother Nature and how the elements may affect individuals. We do properly maintain the space through landscaping but have opted not to use pesticides in the past as we have not had any complaints from past guests utilizing this area and out of concern for the agriculture and wildlife on the property. This may now need to be reevaluated in light of this event. Moving forward, I hope you can understand that our goal as a venue is to offer space for any event, in this case your son’s wedding, that makes that day special. We believe we have achieved that through the multiple touch points made with the Bride & Groom and the conversations that were had on how happy they were with their entire experience. -Dan Liles, Owner
