You also have the option to rent additional décor, including an archway and dance floor. For weddings with up to 48 guests, consider our Intimate Celebrations or Elopement Packages. These thoughtful offerings allow you to celebrate in beautiful spaces such as the Private Dining Room or Event Hall Patio — each surrounded by the tranquil sounds and sights of nature. Born in France and raised in Texas, Yoanna started working with the lodges in 2016, planning private group events and weddings at Evergreen Lodge. With the addition of Rush Creek Lodge in 2016, her focus transferred to establishing groups and events for Rush Creek Lodge while providing support to the event coordinators. In 2021 Yoanna elevated her role to Group and Events Director. With a masters degree in Environmental Design and years of experience in backwoods weddings and a genuine appreciation for the outdoors, Yoanna is your starting point for weddings, retreats, reunions and other private group events at our lodges.

The venue itself is stunning, the food was absolutely incredible, and the rooms were ideal for both us and our guests. They were so accommodating and made sure all of our needs were met with warmth and professionalism. the property itself - it was the absolute best and everything we dreamed of! Yoanna and Brittany were so flexible and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, which we really appreciated! Not only were we obsessed with our wedding weekend, but so many of our family and friends still talk about how much they loved our wedding weekend and RCL, and several have even returned for family vacations! We will cherish our wedding weekend memories made at RCL forever and ever and are excited to continue making memories there as a vacation spot.

Rush Creek Is truly the perfect venue! My partner and I are both backpackers/hikers (getting engaged while backpacking..) so we wanted a wedding experience fully in nature but also...

wanted to be able to accommodate our families. Rush creek really is the best of both worlds - our ceremony was under the cover of trees, right off of hiking trails in the national forest but still easily accessible and the reception site is a beautiful space, with both Indoor and outdoor areas. Rush Creek itself also has SO many fun activities for kids (and adults alike), we got many compliments about how much there was to do all weekend. We loved being able to have everyone on site all weekend, it honestly made for a much more relaxing wedding being able to have a full welcome BBQ Friday night near the pool - fully set up and organized by Rush Creek staff. Overall, the whole experience of planning was a really easy, calm process with the majority of the items done directly by Rush Creek. We attended a tasting on site a few months before the big day and literally all of the food was delicious!! It was also a really fun pre-wedding weekend being able to spend time at Rush Creek! I would recommend hiring a separate day of wedding coordinator, just to make the day of extra smooth and to take the pressure off of the couple getting married - I felt a bit of stress a few times trying to get everyone organized, and was really lucky our photographer helped out with some of that (Wesley Harden is the best!!) Rush Creek truly was the dream venue and I can't say enough good things about the overall weekend! Living in the Bay Area it is such a quick easy drive and for any guests visiting from further away, you have the perfect destination wedding being able to visit Yosemite while there! We can't wait to stay at Rush Creek in the future for anniversaries and other special events.

of questions (big and small) that came up during the planning process. The venue itself will make your whole wedding weekend flow and feel effortless- we had a 'Welcome BBQ' by the pool the night before the wedding which offered the perfect opportunity for all our guests to get together and get acquainted before the wedding. With our guests staying on property and with our Welcome BBQ, wedding, and reception all taking place on property, we didn't have to worry about transportation for guests at all which is just about the biggest gift you can give yourself when planning your wedding- it will simplify your planning and your budget significantly. I was prepared to have to be more 'hands on' during the weekend, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that every time I checked on things, they were completely taken care of. Even picking up all the decorations the day after the wedding wasn't a stress. With the lawn games, arcade, pool, hot tub, fire pit for s'mores, your guests are never going to be bored. We got so many compliments on the food too! You can treat yourself to a day at their spa as I did (highly recommend- got the best massage of my life!). I really cannot say enough good things. These people know what they are doing. Book this venue and you will thank yourself forever!

Yosemite, and then the most beautiful grove for the ceremony. We loved being able to move from the patio cocktail hour to the reception to the tavern for the afterparty. Yoanna and all the staff were fantastic and the food was delicious—they made everything so easy for us and so fun for everyone. We can’t recommend Rush Creek enough!

Rush Creek takes care of everything at the venue (welcome dinner, food, drinks, tables/chairs, linens, chairs for ceremony, etc.). It felt like a lot of the planning was taken off my hands. One of the things I loved most was that everything was in one place. We had the welcome dinner by the pool, the ceremony surrounded by trees, dancing outdoors, and even the after-party in the tavern - all without needing to shuttle people around. It felt like a mini getaway for everyone, but also incredibly personal and special. The staff were amazing - very professional and thoughtful. I didn’t have to think about logistics at all on the day, which made the experience even more stress-free and enjoyable. I’ve already recommended this venue to so many friends, and I truly can’t say enough great things about it. If you're looking for a beautiful, all-in-one location, laidback atmosphere, with a supportive, responsive team, this is it.
