he is so fun to be around and makes everyone feel comfortable in front of a camera. If you are looking for an incredible photographer look no further.
Russell is truly the best choice for your wedding photography! Our photos for both our engagement session and wedding turned out amazing! My husband and I are both very camera shy ...
and not used to the type of attention that weddings bring, and from minute one of our engagement session Russell knew exactly how to make us comfortable and really just made it such a fun, enjoyable session. He was also so flexible about timing as we were super limited in scheduling the photo session, due to our jobs. I knew we made the right choice for Russell to capture our day after that session and I could not be more happy with how all of our photos turned out! Overall, our wedding day was super stress free with Russell leading us through the photos/timeline. We 100% recommend him for your wedding day!!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Russell Heeter as our wedding photographer, and we cannot sing his praises enough. Russell's friendly demeanor and genuine p...
assion for his craft set the tone for an extraordinary experience from start to finish.
Russell went above and beyond our expectations, capturing not only the traditional moments but also the candid, heartfelt expressions that truly define our special day. His ability to blend into the background while still being present for every crucial moment is a testament to his professionalism.
What truly sets Russell apart is his outstanding creative vision. The way he framed each shot and played with light and shadows resulted in a collection of photos that are nothing short of breathtaking. His artistic touch added a unique and unforgettable dimension to our wedding album.
Beyond his undeniable talent, Russell's warmth and approachability made the entire process enjoyable. He took the time to get to know us, understand our vision, and seamlessly integrated into the celebration. His friendly nature made us feel comfortable and allowed him to capture authentic moments that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Moreover, Russell's unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community added an extra layer of comfort and joy to our experience. As a queer couple, his genuine enthusiasm and allyship were evident throughout the process, making us feel not only valued as clients but truly celebrated.
In our opinion, Russell Heeter is the best wedding photographer in the area, hands down. His commitment to excellence, creative flair, and genuine connection with his clients make him a standout professional. We are immensely grateful to have had Russell document our wedding day and would recommend him to anyone seeking not just a photographer but a true artist who genuinely cares about creating lasting memories.

earch because the photographer is arguably one of the most important wedding vendors and I fell in love with his portfolio. His work is truly stunning and it did not disappoint for my wedding. We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine and natural light and a beautiful night with amber uplighting and a wonderful lighting installation from Phos. Each scenario helped achieve beautiful, unique photos. Russell has such a genuine personality and made the whole process really fun and enjoyable. Taking photos with family and friends was really the only calm part of a day filled with so much chaos. During the photography session, you get to stop and enjoy your time with your loved ones and soak up the wonderful day and I will remember those memories he helped create forever. I highly recommend working with him!
I cannot say enough good things about having Russell and Kelsey at our wedding! I don’t particularly love having my picture taken, but Russell and Kelsey made me feel comfortable ...
from the moment they walked through the door. They were the best hype team I could have asked for. They’re an incredible duo who have clearly been doing this for a long time. They were organized and efficient with our ambitious shot list, they brought a positive bubbly energy to every moment of the day, and they captured some of the most special moments and emotions of the day in a beautiful and authentic way. They have a real gift for capturing candid moments and using light to create beautiful shots. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great addition to their special day.

be around. We bonded over torn ACLs, dogs and traveling. He is on the more expensive side and he is hard to book, but if he is available, it will be the best money you spent your entire wedding! He perfectly captured the FUN of our day and our guests, not just us which was so important to me. He captured our details in such a unique way. He took the stress off my shoulders on the day-of. He directed us and knew the vision, and the best lighting so I didn't think to plan another thing! He also took our engagement pictures. My husband is not one for photos (doesn't know what to do with his hands haha), but even he had a blast taking pictures with Russell!! Cannot recommend high enough, Russell rocks!

Russell was able to deal with my handful of a bridal party which is a feat (there were 20 of them).
He also took our engagement photos. These turned out amazing. The colors were brilliant and we genuinely look happy in every shot, no awkward posed pictures to be seen. I really loved that he made my husband and I feel comfortable when we were taking the pictures. We have never had photos taken of us like that before and he made it so easy.
