and not used to the type of attention that weddings bring, and from minute one of our engagement session Russell knew exactly how to make us comfortable and really just made it such a fun, enjoyable session. He was also so flexible about timing as we were super limited in scheduling the photo session, due to our jobs. I knew we made the right choice for Russell to capture our day after that session and I could not be more happy with how all of our photos turned out! earch because the photographer is arguably one of the most important wedding vendors and I fell in love with his portfolio. His work is truly stunning and it did not disappoint for my wedding. We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine and natural light and a beautiful night with amber uplighting and a wonderful lighting installation from Phos. Each scenario helped achieve beautiful, unique photos. Russell has such a genuine personality and made the whole process really fun and enjoyable. Taking photos with family and friends was really the only calm part of a day filled with so much chaos. During the photography session, you get to stop and enjoy your time with your loved ones and soak up the wonderful day and I will remember those memories he helped create forever. He perfectly captured the FUN of our day and our guests, not just us which was so important to me. He captured our details in such a unique way. He took the stress off my shoulders on the day-of. Russell was able to deal with my handful of a bridal party which is a feat (there were 20 of them).
He also took our engagement photos. These turned out amazing. The colors were brilliant and we genuinely look happy in every shot, no awkward posed pictures to be seen. I really loved that he made my husband and I feel comfortable when we were taking the pictures. We have never had photos taken of us like that before and he made it so easy.
