The result is a beautiful record of all the countless little touches that made our wedding ours. When we watch the video we are transported back. You really couldn’t ask for much more. We would recommend Russell John Films to anyone looking for wedding video packages in the San Diego area or elsewhere. They are fairly priced and you get so much more than most of the other options out there. The fact that you receive a documentary edit of the ceremony and speeches as a standard part of their package in addition to your highlight film is the icing on the cake, and really should be included as standard elsewhere. Not only do these guys know what they are doing, they really care. I can’t speak highly enough of their amazing work.

each event was covered fully and that our wedding highlight and videos included an equal proportion of the Indian and Western/American events. They did exactly this and we are in AWE over our wedding highlight and teaser. We had a wonderful team led by Sergio and they worked very well alongside our photographers with no issues at any of the events. Their team was on time each day and after watching the footage they sent us, they truly didn’t miss a thing, even getting beautiful drone shots of downtown near our venue! I would find someone that I liked and then sadly be let down with sticker shock. But finding Russell John Films was a godsend. Great product for great prices. I truly felt like I was a part of the wedding day from a distance and the quality of video and sound was incredible. I decided to use them for my wedding after my own experience and was not disappointed.

They had 4 Cameras cutting back and forth from the two of us, as well as our friends and family! Following the ceremony, they provided us with a portion of Zoom reception (which we recommend if your Ceremony and Reception is at the same Venue). If we were to do this all over again when the world has opened its doors, we would still use Russell John Film’s services. They allowed aging family members and overseas loved ones to share in our celebration – these are people who would not have reasonably been able to attend an in-person ceremony regardless of the current situation. We had roughly 90 people attend our virtual wedding. They joined us from three continents, five countries, seven U.S. states, 30 cities, and we can’t quite sort out how many time zones. They dressed up in their wedding day finest. They drank from crystal glasses. They got to hear from one another, know one another, and ultimately know our wedding story. We had several guests tell us that our wedding was the most fun people had experienced in months. And we felt the same way! Thanks to Russell John Films, this wasn’t a great wedding DESPITE a pandemic and altered plans. It was a great wedding!

I watched their past clients to see which films I preferred, and which films I didn't. This is the best because my highlight film was actually better than what I had imagined. Shout out to Brandon who responds to every email with professionalism and kindness. On the day of the wedding they were professional and respectful due to all the regulations we had. They captured everything, without us really knowing they were there! All videographers did a phenomenal job and they were a pleasure to be around. We have referred to 3 more events (they’ve done 2 at the time of this review) and I'm happy to say they do a fabulous job. We just received our Digital Wedding Album and that was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend the RJ Films team to my friends and family and all of you!

I was so surprised that I didn’t realize they were even there. The whole team was great at capturing the little moments while staying behind the scenes, so to speak. Also, my dad had a couple requests on the final film that they accommodated after the film was already made. They really care that you’re happy with the final video. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Brandon handled the logistics, and Russ was our lead shooter. Russ and his second shooter worked seamlessly with our photographer on the day of the wedding. When we received our cinematic highlight, I was really blown away by the color correction. I heard from my friend about the important of color correction in setting the tone and mood of a video, but I didn’t quite understand until I saw it. Our wedding had very bold colors, and the resulting video was so rich and vibrant, it really matched the aesthetic. In addition, the way they interspersed the vows and the footage really told a coherent story. In layman’s terms, they made a movie that looked like a DC film but told a Marvel story. I will say I had to reach out a couple of times when a video was about a week late, but they always responded promptly to my inquiries, and the deliverables were really not that far off from the contracted due date. We’re so pleased by the finished product, and I highly recommend choosing them for your wedding!

ce was just right & the sample videos showcased what I was looking for. I wanted a movie of my entire wedding day so I could relive it whenever I wanted. My husband & I met Brandon & Solana at their office in La Mesa to go over our wedding details months ahead and after the meeting I was thrilled! I wanted to book them right there. Brandon suggested i cement my decision by meeting with the other 2 video Production Companies I was interested in. He was so right! I learned about all the unique things Russell John Films does such as providing me a review before finalizing, how they take time to do Color Correction of the entire film in editing to give me that 'Movie look' i wanted/ Fast forward to the wedding, our videographer met us at our first location on time & was very professional and friendly. She captured so much that I wasn't even aware of, but am glad she did! Our second videographer was with my husband capturing some glorious moments before the ceremony. We also opted for a Russell John Films video booth, where our guests could take pictures and record a personal message for us. It is so fantastic to watch weeks later! I could not be more pleased with the end product. My video is done, and I hardly had to make any edits to the original because that's how good Russell is at this! I hope they are available on your date, because this is the team you will be completely satisfied with. I hope they continue to stay boutique because they are great storytellers and technical artists!

We hardly saw the team throughout the day so we were amazed to see shots that had us wondering how they got them! They are also fun loving and easygoing people! Our destination wedding in Turks and Caicos made it difficult to find a team that would be willing to travel so far (from southern California), fit in our budget, but most importantly, create spectacular, non-cheesy wedding videos. (Sorry ladies, but no one likes a cheesy video!) They eloquently told a story about who we are and how we met, all the while fitting in with our style and musical taste making it fun and entertaining to watch.
