und Joe was available again from a last minute cancellation through family friends. Within 2 days, Joe met with us and made us feel SO taken care of! He is a consummate professional and his extensive experience is obvious. He paid so much attention to detail and made sure every special song, introduction, and overall playlist fit our exact needs. His team even worked as stand-in “coordinators” for the day making sure we were all on schedule and checking in with us constantly! The communication is unmatched. They made our day so fun, carefree, and did it with joy. Cannot recommend Joe & RSL enough!

and it goes to show why he’s still in business. He’s very detailed and helps you build your timeline for the reception and gives his input/opinion when needed. His pricing I thought was very reasonable and affordable and even offered uplighting which truly changes the scenery of your venue and makes it so fun! s they’ve never heard done that way before. How breathtaking the first dance with the fog was. How beautiful his booth was. The crystal clear sound. The list goes on!!! He is one of the best DJs there is and we were so happy to have him a part of our big day. Highly recommend. Everything is totally worth it. He timed me walking down the aisle to Metallica perfectly, the first kiss. Everything was perfect and right on point. Everyone enjoyed dancing all night including the kids who stole the show with their awesome requests that I let them do! And before I forget. The photo booth…. WAS A HIT! Everyone enjoyed it and we have a huge book of photo strips to prove it! Again, highly recommend. Book him! You won’t regret it. I’ll post photos up once I get them back from photographer. I specifically requested multiple pictures of the booth and everything because of how beautiful it was!

Some thing I loved particularly about Russell Sound Lab is that they are very upfront with their pricing and packages. We also had them do up lighting for our reception and it looked amazing. It completely set the mood for the night and changed the tone of our reception in the most wonderful way. Bruce was our DJ in charge of the music for the night and he did a fantastic job. He was a great MC with an awesome personality, was very accommodating to requests (we specified that we wanted to take requests), and modified the music anytime I asked. Our dance floor was packed all the way up until midnight and we had a wedding reception for the books. You can’t go wrong with this company!

Joe worked around many difficult challenges involving getting the equipment brought back to the yard, a challenging set up environment and dealing with the weather. During the entire process, Joe listened to our wants/needs and clearly took detailed notes because everything we requested from lighting to song choices were fulfilled 100%. His wedding planning documents were perfect for keeping up aligned and Joe was available at a moment's notice to make edits/changes. Joe and his Son got there early, made sure everything worked and every roadblock that was presented itself was expertly dealt with and succeeded. Joe has a great stage presence and knows how to read the room. Our wedding was thrown off schedule a bit during the dinner but with constant communication with Joe and our planner, it all appeared seamless. We utilized the uplighting and cold spark shower that Joe offers and I would highly recommend adding them to your wedding. We cannot thank Joe enough for providing the wedding reception of our dreams. Even our music snob friends loved the playlist! Joe and his Son are some of the hardest working people in the industry and booking Russell Sound Lab is a must for your next event!

Everything turned out beautifully, my husband and I couldn’t be happier. I swear to you, they all go above and beyond for their clients! He was knowledgable about our venue and how it operated which allowed him to make valuable suggestions on other vendors we could use and how to make the space look it's best. Many people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I was on the fence about the uplighting, but I’m so glad we did it - the Onesto looked even more beautiful! Joe took the time to meet with me and go over my very detailed playlist, and even took time to download more obscure songs I wanted. Joe worked well with all of our vendors too, making the day go seemlessly. The video recordings of our ceremony and reception were so wonderful, and Joe got them to us within days (Thanksgiving week!) because he knew we lived out of state. A fantastic choice for a DJ!
