Ruth Hunter - Harpist

Ruth hunter, a conservatory trained harpist with a vast repertoire of classical and popular music, is the ultimate wedding musician. Her exquisite sound and musicality will be the elegant accompaniment to your beautiful wedding. Though Ruth performs major works with symphony orchestras and is an experienced teacher, she is a sought after performer for weddings, parties, corporate functions, special occasions at hotels, and various local events. Ruth usually plays a Lyon & Healy concert grand instrument, but for outdoor events she owns a full size carbon fiber harp (the only such instrument in Central PA), which is impervious to weather conditions that would be disastrous for a harp made of wood. The sound is still beautiful, and can be enhanced by amplification if necessary.
