Ruth is AMAZING! She is creative and executes beautiful and unique designs. Ruth worked with us to give us the best within our budget and was continuously honest and easy to get a hold of. Everyone at our wedding was in awe of all of her many stunning floral arrangements and designs. I was so much less stressed than I could have been while planning my wedding because I knew she would handle everything seemlessly!

I had the wonderful experience with working with Ruth for my wedding at RockRimmon Country Club. Ruth prepared an amazing deck to show me all of my options. She was extremely professional and didn't miss a single detail. Her designs went above and beyond my wildest dreams. She clearly takes pride in her work and treats every project she does with amazing care and expertise. Ruth was very communicative but struck the perfect balance between giving helpful suggestions while allowing my input to be mixed in. Nothing was overlooked and she makes sure that every single thing is perfect. My friends and family were in awe at how amazing everything looked. Ruth made my wedding magical and something I'll never forget! A+ HIGHLY recommend for any special event!

Ruth's work is truly magical. I'm a professional designer and came to the table with a color palette, mood board and specific vision for a classic, old mansion wedding. She not only perfectly captured my vision but added to it-- particularly her idea to suspend the reception table florals on actual vintage chandeliers. Our venue was a historic mansion that supplied dining tables but not much else, and her input and attention to detail brought the space to life. Her suggestion to add perimeter lighting and candles to the fireplaces and windowsills made the dark mansion glow. I made a huge ask for the staircase to be lined with flowers, and the end result was truly otherworldly and an iconic feature of our wedding I will always remember. All this, and her team got it done seamlessly within the venue's strict rental hours, and in time for our wedding photo session.

Beyond my wildest dreams! Ruth designed the most beautiful wedding I could have ever hoped for. We got married at a venue that had very little décor to begin with and I felt overwhelmed at the amount of decorating we would have to do, but Ruth made it feel effortless and easy. Ruth always made herself available to answer any questions and made sure that the vision was being executed perfectly. Ruth completely transformed the blank space into the most magical, romantic wedding venue of my dreams. Our friends are still raving about the Chuppah, the flowers, the candles and the décor. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ruth and her team.

I truly do not even know where to begin with this review. My wife and I had initially booked a small dinner style wedding which wound up getting cancelled due to COVID. We pushed the wedding back by a year and a half and changed the venue completely to the New York Botanical Garden. I knew we needed a lot of beautiful florals and lighting, so I started searching for the perfect company. I was blown away by Ruth's work online and on instagram. I reached out to her and she was so helpful and gave me lots of options and ideas right away. We booked her for all of our florals inside the room and also all of the florals and lighting for the outside ceremony. Through the planning process, I was always adding additional things (and changing things too), and Ruth always helped me right away. She definitely saw my vision and I truly trusted hers. To say that our wedding came out perfectly is an understatement. People to this day are still talking about the pergola she built for us for our sweetheart table. The people at the venue never saw any florals like what Ruth and her team put together. The pergola was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. We had floating candles and lights and tons of rustic pots and flowers surrounding us- it was truly magical. The table arrangements were so full and lush and looked incredible. There were candles everywhere. It was the most romantic and beautiful wedding ever. I talked with Ruth about what kind of bouquet I wanted and gave her some ideas based on past weddings she did, and the bouquet came out absolutely perfect. It was everything I imagined. Moving to the outdoors, we were blown away with the floral arch, all the lanterns, and the incredible string lighting all above the ceremony. It was absolutely amazing. Ruth did uplighting all over the building also. It was straight out of a fairytale. I can't say enough amazing things about Ruth and her team. When we got there at 3pm we had not eaten and our venue had no food ready for us. Ruth had a huge platter of sandwiches and brought them to the suite for us. It was the only thing we ate all day/night! Ruth also kept me calm about the weather. The forecast was indicating a 70% chance of rain at the time of our ceremony, but Ruth kept checking the weather and told us to keep it outside. I was so nervous about the rain because if it did start pouring the entire set up outside would basically not be used. It would have been too late to move everything after they started. I am SO glad I listened to Ruth because the weather held out! We had the most beautiful and perfect ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour ever. My guests to this day are talking about our florals and lighting. Ruth and her team are the best of the best and our wedding would not have been what it was without her vision and expertise.

As mother of the bride I wanted everything to be perfect for my daughter and son-in-law to be. Ruth truly hit it out of the park! The floral arrangements were spectacular as were the decorations she did in our tent and the seating arrangements she added to our decor. Her suggestions on everything were very helpful and contributed to making the wedding truly extraordinary. Looking back I would not change a detail of anything Ruth did-it was perfection. She was also a pleasure to work with- fun and professional. I would hire Ruth for any event you want to be extra special.

In two words, absolutely amazing! From the start, Ruth was there to support me in my design needs. She was there every step of the way and was easy to get ahold of when I needed her. With planning all the other aspects of the wedding myself, it was nice to know that I had Ruth and her team to take care of everything from place cards to napkin folds on the day of. Do not walk, RUN to book Ruth for your event! My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding four times due to COVID-19 and ended up switching venues within 3 months of the big day! Ruth met me at the new venue, and we completely re-did the entire design for the wedding. Not only is she professional and personable, but Ruth is also one of the most talented individuals I have ever met. I can say with complete confidence that my wedding would NOT have been as magical if it was not for Ruth and her team. My guests and vendors were RAVING about our florals and design. Our wedding truly looked like it belonged in a magazine and it is all because of her.

To a colored crystal goblet that was paired with napkins of silk turned into a floral centerpiece adorned by a painted place card, it was a statement piece with sophistication and details beyond! I cannot say enough good things about Ruth except for the fact that she is now, not only the person I will call for future events, but my friend. You are making the right decision by hiring her and her team!

My daughter had 5 different wedding dates due to Covid issues and Ruth stood by us the entire time. We ended up with 21 people on a Wednesday afternoon people rather than 250 on a Saturday night and the decor Ruth put together was stunning. We couldn't have been happier. Ruth is really a piece of work and a master of her craft. She is incredibly thorough in getting to know you, your vision, your preferences, etc. and creating something beautiful. She's totally over the top but worth every penny (and she does not come cheap!). Going to visit her warehouse to see a demo was magical, because she totally took my vision to the next level. Our wedding was a total fairytale because of her work. She is meticulous down to the individual placement of each flower and you will notice the difference in the quality of her work. Everything was utterly gorgeous, on-vision, seasonal, and spectacular!

I have worked with Ruth and her team for many years on many events. They are professional, creative, responsive and beyond detail oriented. Our daughter was married on July 28, 2018 at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills. Thanks to Ruth Ridgeway and her team of professionals the day was spectacular! Ruth not only is extrememly talented, but her eye for detail is like no other. Her vision exceeded our expectations. The flowers were so beautiful, our guests were amazed by the quality of the work and how gorgeous everything look. Just what the bride and groom had wanted. Ruth is absolutely amazing at what she does and is so much more than a florist! From our very first meeting, Ruth captured our “vision” for what we wanted our wedding reception to look like and she went above and beyond our wildest dreams.
