Ruthie is an absolute blast! She’s hilarious & easy going, but also very professional. She had us laughing the whole time & made us feel so comfortable. The pictures she took turned out absolute gorgeous!! Definitely recommend.

Ruthie is the most accomodating, and easy to work with photographer for all of the pictures I wanted. We were both super comfortable and she made sure we were all on the ball getting everyone on time. I didn't feel awkward taking the pictures and love how everything turned out. She was great at getting my hard to handle family in place for everything and getting them to listen, which can be very difficult to do. Great experience.

Ruthie was amazing. Her photos of us came out just how we wanted them and we have had so many printed for family and such because they look so good. She was patient when inevitable wedding mishaps came up, and was really understanding of having a bilingual family situation. We felt comfortable despite never having photos taken of us. She was super nice about having our dog around, her husband even walked our dog around when she wasn't needed for photos. She had great ideas that made us look our best, and we had way more fun than we thought we would. Now everyone in my family wants to get family photos done by her! She really is incredible, what you see is what you get, and she won't let you down. My husband and I are both somewhat reserved and shy. I knew wedding photographs were important to me because I grew up obsessing over my mom's wedding album, but I couldn't imagine how my photos would wind up looking anything but awkward. Instead, they are absolutely stunning! Ruthie is a rockstar. She is quick to respond, easy to communicate with electronically, flexible with her schedule, and timely with her product. Besides being professional, she is SO FUN to hang out with. What a genuine person. Not only did she put us at ease during photos (engagements, rehearsal dinner, AND wedding day), my family and friends absolutely loved her. If you like a dreamy, calm, cozy, playful, romantic, and candid aesthetic, I can't imagine that you would ever be disappointed. She asks very pointed questions to feel your vibe as a couple, get the images that are most important to you, get a feeling of how much or how little coaching you want during the sessions, and help you decide on gorgeous shoot locations. Ruthie is magic. When my husband and I got engaged we planned to elope in the desert and Ruthie was actually one of the first details we sorted out! I was hooked on how intimate and real her photos felt. But as planning progressed and our wedding moved to New York, I was heartbroken to think we wouldn’t be able to have her photograph us. But after working out some details Ruthie flew across the country to a little town Upstate NY for our boho wedding! From the moment we met she was part of the fam! She hung out for burgers and fries during our rehearsal dinner (and took the best candids! I highly recommend getting a picture of your ‘last’ kiss), kept us on time getting ready, and rounded out the night dancing like crazy to Come on Eileen. Not only did she capture the most raw and beautiful photos I've ever seen, but she did all this while corralling our ‘excitable’ wedding party (@my brother and the groomsmen). She was a dream to work with and captured so many moments I will cherish for the rest of my life. I honestly could not have asked for a more wonderful wedding photographer. She made our wedding experience so overwhelming positive that I’m not getting back into my photography practice! She legit inspired me to get back behind the camera! Bottom line; if you haven’t yet, BOOK RUTHIE NOW! And if you accidentally feed her spicy pretzels, have a large glass of water nearby ;)
