I was looking for the crystal chandeliers which can be used on my outdoor reception. There are several vendors at the west coast, but hard to find near New England. My planner found Ryan Designs and they customized to my needs! It turned out so pretty, definitely the highlight of the whole decoration.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience hiring Ryan Designs for our wedding - they provided lighting, custom rigging for floral installations, draping, and a custom bar with a monogram logo from our invitation suite. They were so easy to work with (shout out Lisa!) and the set up crew that came was super nice and did such a great job. Everything looked beautiful!

Ryan Designs are the best in the business for a reason. Their inventory, reliability and team members are just top notch. We got married at the Spring House Hotel on Block Island and they were able to tell us exactly what we needed for bistro lights and fabric swags, having visited the venue many times. They also completely handled their own travel logistics (meaning they booked their own ferries and vehicle reservations, if it was needed). As a bride, this was so helpful - the travel fee was worth every penny. Looking back on it, I didn’t even have to check in with anyone from the Ryan Designs team leading up to the big day because they knew exactly what they were doing and sure enough, executed perfectly! Five stars isn’t enough

Ryan Designs were so easy to work with and lit up our tent with gorgeous chandeliers and twinkle lighting it completely changed the entire vibe to a romantic seaside heaven!!

The software for contract/billing is so user friendly and easy. On the day of the wedding, there was not a thing to worry about and the lights truly elevated the wedding! Highly recommend!

Ryan Designs created a magical tent for our wedding. I remember looking up during our first dance and taking in the beautiful chandeliers and lights for the first time and being just so happy. All of the elements were perfect and more than I could have imagined. Christen was fun to work with during the planning process and was available in person and by phone to help answer any questions I had.

We got married at Saltwater Farm Vineyard on a Sunday, and there had been a wedding on Friday and Saturday. Ryan Designs was already putting lights up for both other weddings, so we contacted them about using the same lights for our wedding as well. The garden lights that they hung in the rafters for the wedding were beautiful, and they made the space look so much warmer and more inviting. The team was incredibly easy to work with, and made lighting one of the easiest parts of our wedding!

Ryan Designs provided the lantern lights for our wedding and they were fabulous! They were easy to work with and super responsive, and everything was set up on time with no issues at all. We got married on Oct. 7th at Saltwater Farm Vineyard and used Ryan Designs for our lighting. Honestly, the hardest part about Ryan Designs was choosing just one lighting option because I was obsessed with all of their options. I worked with Ashley who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the design options that were allowed at the venue as well as different cost options. After browsing through the info Ashley sent over to me as well as their Instagram, I ended up choosing a twinkle light waterfall design. Truthfully, the pictures are beautiful but until we walked into the venue and were surrounded by these lights in person- it was incredible. They really did an amazing job. The communication throughout the whole planning process was fantastic and the payment process was by far the best out of all our vendors. You're able to set up automatic payments and they notify you before putting a payment through to make sure you'd like to use the same credit card. So easy. I would recommend Ryan Designs in a heartbeat!!

My husband and I hired Ryan Designs for our wedding on 10/6/18. We worked with Katie who ensured that every detail was perfect. I sent Katie pictures of our venue but she also went above and beyond by making a site visit to get more information. We held our reception in a historic barn and the Ryan Designs team added decor that highlighted the natural beauty of the property. We added drapery, lights in the barn, and hanging chandeliers from a large oak tree outside the barn. Katie also worked with me to create a rain plan if necessary. I highly recommend this talented and professional team!

I am very disappointed. I spoke to Erik Ryan on the phone and he was supposed to email me more information regarding lighting and draping. This was over a month ago and I never received anything!!

Erik, Christen, & Michelle are absolutely incredible. Not only are they so sweet, but they are amazing at what they do. They are incredible to work with, and have the creative capabilities to bring any event space to life. We hired them do an installation of chandeliers at our wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, CT. Working with them, we felt well taken care of and had absolutely no doubts or worries about our installation. The installation they did was stunning and blew us, and all of our guests away. Ryan Designs took care of our lighting in a large tent over an outdoor patio at our wedding in New London CT. They did an amazing job and my wife was really happy with the results. They were very easy to work with and would recommend them to anyone.

We just used Ryan Designs for our wedding in June, at The Lace Factory in CT, and they were amazing to work with!! I had a vision of what I was looking for, with a specific budget, to really make our venue stand out, feel romantic, and like "us" and they were able to create that vision flawlessly! We used their fabric swags, unique chandeliers, and bistro lighting and all of our guests commented on how beautiful and magical everything was. Ryan Designs did a wonderful job with the lighting for our tent. All I wanted was simple bistro lights strung from the center polls to brighten up the tent, but all of the lighting vendors that I reached out to were exorbitantly expensive. Ryan Designs provided by far the most reasonable price, and the quality of service certainly was not sacrificed! The bistro lights were the perfect touch to our tent, and Eric and Christen were very pleasant to work with throughout the process. Thank you, Ryan Designs!

Ryan Designs did an amazing job for our wedding. They happily walked us through many ideas and dealt with a lot of mind changing. In the end, our tent came out amazing and was more than we could have asked for. Erik and Christen were amazing and so so helpful, even taking last minute requests in the weeks leading up to the wedding. They know Block Island very well and all of the intricacies involved in hosting a wedding there. I would recommend them to anyone.

I actually never met Erik or his wife Christen, but they were very friendly on the phone and through emails during the planning process. That being said and never having met them they did exactly what I asked and was hoping for. They set up a lounge space at our wedding venue and it looked great! They came on time, set up a beautiful space and were reasonably priced!

Erik and Christen did an amazing job bringing the vision of our wedding to life. They were so easy to work with and truly listened to all of our notes/wants and made our wedding look spectacular. They even made the most creative Chuppah I have ever seen that truly set the scene for our ceremony. I was told by several people that evening who have been to other events at the venue, that the tent has never looked more gorgeous. Several folks also remarked that we had a very "Gatsby-esque" wedding. I attribute that to the very hard work of Erik and Christen and their amazing team!

Ryan and his wife Christine are AMAZING! Their tent liners and chandeliers are beautiful. We also used the seating arrangement with couches and end tables. EXCELLENT!

Christen and Erik are the most wonderful and laid-back couple in the business. I made the decision to use them for my barn wedding in May quite late in the game, and it was the best decision I made by far. Christen immediately understood my vision, and by looking at my inspiration pictures, she and Erik were able to execute exactly what I was unable to do as the bride. Their lanterns were incredible, as well as the luminaries lighting the pathway and a beautiful archway that Erik made out of driftwood. UNREAL!!! They are reasonably priced, and they will do an incredible job.

Among other things, Christen and Erik Ryan gave us a simply spectacular reception space with custom lounge furniture, custom table runners with matching pillows in the lounges, and uplighting around the room. They elegantly covered the areas of the reception hall I didn't care for, and really created a wonderful atmosphere for our celebration. They are kind, generous people that were very easy to work with and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with their work. I was thrilled with everything they did for our wedding and would highly reccomend their services for any bride!
