We were nervous for our engagement shoot, but Ryan just has a special way of making you feel at ease, comfortable, and beautiful. He was more than willing to come out to our private family property and pick out the best locations. He truly has an eye for breathtaking photos, and will do anything for THE shot. My jaw actually HIT THE FLOOR when I saw our wedding pictures. Like I did not know what to do with myself!!!!!! He outdid himself with these photos. ion. We couldn't have made a better decision. We were terrified to take Engagement photos because we thought the whole concept was awkward and a little cheesy -- but as soon as we met Ryan at 6am in SF to take morning shots, he quickly put us at ease and made us feel so special and the process feel so effortless. The photos that he delivered were EPIC and we were so happy to have him. We had our wedding last weekend, and he somehow managed to eclipse the talent and professionalism we experienced the first time around. He's a true pro. He knows how to get all the right shots (and with a large family, this was no small feat). He has a super creative eye for light and surroundings. He coached us and our family in a way that immediately conveyed authority and experience. And best of all, he knows how to make everyone look amazing. As of now, we've only seen the sneak previews, but from what we can already tell--these are going to be some of the best photos ever. Did I mention, he's also just fun to be around??? o our engagement shoot until a couple of months before the wedding. I was super nervous-I had spent almost 2 years planning the wedding and stalking wedding photos, and I really wanted the photos to look great. From Ryan's site, I knew he took beautiful, artistic photos--but I was still anxious. Everything changed after the engagement shoot. Ryan was so wonderful at keeping us calm, laughing and having fun. For our engagement shoot we got to go on a short hike (we love nature) and it was so fun to have him following us. He made everything seem natural, and when he wanted to take a staged shot he was so great at making us feel comfortable. And his photos were a dream. We spent hours gazing over them. On the wedding day, he actually brought a second shooter so that he could capture all of the details perfectly. He kept us laughing through all of the family photos, took incredible shots of the ceremony, and made sure we had time to get some beautiful private portraits. He also caught some amazing candid moments. We are so, so, grateful we were lucky enough to get to have Ryan photograph our wedding! As a heads up--he books up over a year in advance (for good reason!)

you know your about to have you photograph taken a million times! On our wedding day Ryan was extremely professional and right on time! He gave me great direction on helping me pose, and also caught some great candid moments!! Even my new husband was laughing and having such a great time! Once we got the photos back I was shocked to find that there was not a single photo that I didn’t like!!! When he showed up on the wedding day it was so exciting and he brought smiles to our faces (great for photos!) Ryan has a natural way of making everybody feel comfortable in front of the camera and any time we felt nervous or looked too posed, Ryan would crack a joke and boom we caught the perfect shot. Our wedding day we had a huge group of family and rambunctious bridal party. He was extremely professional yet calm getting everyone together to get the shots that we needed. He was not pushy ever and again, made everything we did FUN. Nobody complained about the heat or the fact we had to take a million photos because Ryan made us laugh and we truly had fun with it. I am so thankful for Ryan and for him being with us on the wedding day. I have heard from several family members and friends how much they loved being around him and felt this authenticity and his demeanor made the day that much better. Thank you Ryan for everything you did for us!

Ryan was worth every penny - (DUH!! That's why I insisted on him!!). Our venue is quite beautiful and I've never seen wedding photos that did it justice, until Ryan. Additionally, I loved that he took the time to scout out the area around our venue and found perfect places for the most beautiful photos. We got married a few blocks from our home in downtown San Diego and Ryan took us to a few places where we go all the time on weekends and turned them into the most beautiful pictures. I love that our daily life was incorporated into our big day.

Throwing in a little nature walk and fun company helped as well! We haven't seen the photos yet, but what they look like hardly matters. wedding photogs are, he was never even kind of pushy or in our face - yet kept everything on schedule and captured every moment beautifully. 2 weeks out our pictures were up! He's a stud - I cannot even imagine how things could have gone better.

nd I could tell via email I already thought he was awesome. We briefly met up just so I could actually meet him, which was fantastic! We went over his packages- pricing was on par with other local photographers that I'd looked at. (None were as welcoming of a personality as Ryan) Ryan came up to the foothills and endured a bit of a 4 wheeling trip (while my 60lb dog was sitting on his lap and licking his face- anyone who endures this is a winner in my book) for our engagement photos. Our engagement photos turned out fantastic! Our whole family loves them! He was easy to work with, had great suggestions on how to pose/move for great shoots! Including good jokes/games for natural laughs/smiles. He made us both feel comfortable and at ease (which neither of us were expecting, since we aren't really picture people!) Ryan arrived right on time to our venue despite it's difficult location. And he and the 2nd shooter got started right away taking photos! They were great at making sure we stayed on schedule with the post-ceremony photos. And we've got lots of great snapshots from the evening. Our photos were turned around very quickly (while we were on our honeymoon) so we could share with friends/family online. And our USB stick of photos arrived shortly after that! Ryan is very professional, and has great technique and skill in photography!
