I met Ryan and his wife, Laura, at a Bridal Show. I was instantly drawn to them as a team. Not only was their work captivating, but they have wonderful personalities as well and really try to get to know you to capture the best photographic moments of your special day. He also sweetly obliged to all my Pinterest requests, and stole us away from the reception for some romantic moonlight shots. He was such a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing photographer. Thank you!

From the moment I reached out to Ryan, he was invested in not just our wedding but our story. The photographer was the most important vendor to me, so I was hesitant about booking and searched for the perfect one for months. Ryan calmed those nerves with his quick replies and willingness to work with any situation. He shot my bridals and our wedding and I can’t say enough positive things! Ryan and his wife are experts at stepping up and giving direction when needed, but also sitting back and capturing the moment. He worked with the weather for our very windy March wedding and got along so well with everyone that was part of the day. He even lended my husband his tie clip! Ryan (and Laura) far exceeded my expectations during the whole wedding planning process and the actual day. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers!

I can't say enough good things about Ryan O'Dowd! We were fortunate enough to have him as the photographer at both of my daughter's weddings this summer, and on both occasions he did an amazing job. He and his wife make an incredible team, capturing the excitement and fun of each day, in its own unique way. We had him do both the bridal pictures and the wedding day pictures, both of which are just such incredible keepsakes. Your wedding day will just rushes by so fast that you forget the details. A great photographer like Ryan will capture those details so that you can relive them over and over. We won't hesitate to use Ryan again for our next two kids weddings.

They are the kindest most professional people you will ever meet - and their work is extraordinary. I own a venue and so I know photographers and the quality of their work. Ryan's is exceptional.

We loved working with Ryan and Laura for our Engagement, Bridal, and Wedding Photos. They made the photoshoot very fun and laidback which we really appreciated. They really captured all the emotions on the Wedding Day and really helped keep me calm throughout the whole process. We could not be happier with how the pictures came out. I really appreciated how between each of the 3 shoots Ryan would sit down with me and go through the photos so we could identify what I like best to incorporate more of that into the next shoot. We are so happy Ryan and Laura were part of our big day and would definitely go back to work with them for future occasions.

My husband and I researched through many photographers to find the best of the best photographer for our wedding because capturing all these special moments and memories was the most important part for us. After looking into several photographers and their work, we came upon Ryan O'Dowd at the Plano Bridal Show. We then met with him one evening to go over what we would like for our wedding and he was very professional and just an all around nice guy. Absolutely loved working with Ryan and Laura. They were easy to make contact with and made sure they knew everything we wanted out of our pictures for our wedding. Ryan really got to know our families and story to make all the shots perfect. From the beginning of the day to the end of the night they were always there to get the perfect shots. Ryan was the first person I picked for my vendors, and he was the best vendor I had. I managed to keep from crying the entire wedding day, but viewing my photos brought tears to my eyes. Each photo was framed perfectly and there wasn’t a single one that we didn’t like. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and I could say that for each and every photo that Ryan took. We will have these photos for a lifetime and I couldn't be happier with how each of the photos tugs at the heart strings and sparks memories of our wedding day. Everything about our wedding day was special and Ryan’s work has provided us with hundreds of snapshots that will make those memories last a lifetime.

We loved working with Ryan! Not only are his photo’s amazing, but he was great to work with. He is very professional, but also very approachable and down to earth. Ryan took our engagement and wedding photos. He has a convenient questionnaire that we filled out at our convenience with our expectations and shot list. We then had a planning meeting to make sure he understood our wants/needs and nothing would be missed. Ryan was great with all of our guests and has an ability to know what was coming before we did and managed to get every candid picture we could have dreamed of throughout the night. He was with us all day/night and left after we did. We received our pictures from him very quickly and can’t wait to see our finished wedding album that he is creating for us.

Ryan was one of the best decisions we made! We had several meetings with him prior to the wedding. He wanted to ensure that we were satisfied with the shot list, and wanted to get to know us a couple. Him and his wife were a great duo, and we couldn't have been more pleased! We decided to do the photo lounge as well, which was really fun and our guests enjoyed! I would definitely recommend Ryan!

I cannot speak highly enough of Ryan! Working with him leading up to our wedding and on the day of was amazing! Ryan and his wife make you feel comfortable, which leads to the best pictures because they don't seem posed. He is great to work with and extremely professional. Everything that we did with him was top notch; we did engagement, bridals, and wedding day photography with him. I would recommend him for any occasion!!

Ryan was one of my favorite parts about my wedding! He is super fun, flexible and so easy to work with. When I met with him for the first time he had several samples for me to look at and answered all of my questions. At the wedding he was everywhere capturing the best moments but he wasn't in the way of anything. We purchased the package with a second shooter and I am so happy because they were both able to capture the most important parts for me! Not only did we have a zillion pictures to choose from, we also got them back super quick! Ryan told me it would take up to 6 weeks so I was counting down the days but we got them back in 3 weeks! And we got all the pictures on a super cute USB. I know its a minor detail but it just shows the time and effort that went into making our day perfect!

I met Ryan O'Dowd and his wife on a photography session for my daughter. We both were extremely impressed with the professionalism and kindness and patience which was shown throughout the session. Ryan O'Dowd Photography used the most gorgeous settings and knew what he was doing when setting up each new photo. Ryan & his wife/associate came prepared with florals, when needed, and a brand new floor covering (shower curtain) as needed when he wanted a ground shot, so that the bride wouldn't get her wedding dress soiled. Very forward thinking! At the wedding, he was persistent in getting all the right shots--something we didn't have to worry about at all...peace of mind, indeed! Of all the vendors, the hustle and bustle, the details, phone calls, meetings, and people to talk to while planning our wedding, Ryan was - hands down - the BEST part of all of it! From the very second we met him, we felt at ease. He was warm, listened to us, really heard what we wanted and what our budget was and gave us just what we wanted-exactly how we wanted it. He was fast to respond to questions, went out of his way to make himself available, and even took the time to get to know us as a couple so we could be bonded, in a way, before the big day. And true to form, on the wedding day, Ryan's face was one of the faces I wanted to see most! He was non-invasive, and entirely professional. Most of my guests said they barely even knew he was there--even though the pictures clearly showed, he was everywhere! Taking the best shots..shots I never even knew he was taking. Shots that will forever live in my heart. I could not recommend him enough!!! Ryan O'Dowd made everything memorable, from my bridal portrait session on a VERY windy day, to the morning of where he captured moments that I will always remember, to the second the love of my life became my husband. And the reception??? He found the fun and laughter in his lens and I can re-live the magic of that night forever and ever. Trust me, if you choose Ryan, you'll feel the same way. He's the GREATEST!!!

Photography was the most important thing for me - and Ryan exceeded what we expected...and our expectations were high. Ryan is real, down to earth, and a ton of fun to work with...he treated us like friends, which made the wedding day feel so much more relaxed. I can't begin to describe how happy I am with my pictures. He captured the wedding in a way that makes me just say WOW. Seriously...Ryan totally gave me a greater appreciation for photography...lovely! oh, and the engagement pictures were tons of fun! we spent hours together and he ended up giving us over 60 digitals...they were AMAZING!
