Ryan was a fantastic photographer for our wedding!!! We loved how he took his time to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. He was creative and took initiative when having us pose but also great at requesting feedback from us and keeping us in the loop on his thought process so we could feel included and give our input! We also loved the videographer he worked with to help capture all the special details on our wedding day!

Ryan was very gracious with his pricing.This is my happy ending and Ryan captured it perfectly. I am self conscious as I am a domestic violence survivor. He was reassuring when I felt uncertain of how I looked. He was calm cool and collected when I was anxious before the wedding. He did not leave until I got every shot I wanted. He got pictures and moments of family and friends that are now some of my all time favorite pictures. He was so kind to everyone and was melting in the heat and never once complained. Ryan is a unique photographer as he not only has a natural artistic eye, but he photographs with a sentimental eye. He catches these moments that are natural and speak volumes. My Officiant stood in the wrong spot and I was terrified he would ruin all the shots ,but Ryan worked above and beyond and got perfect shots of us. I will be forever grateful to him for capturing the love and making us look dang good. He is so humble and listens to what you want. I know that can be hard for photographers as they do this for a living ,but he makes ypu feel as if your wedsing is the only wedsong that matters. He works for you. I love that he got to know us so he could get a feel of who we were as a couple. I never worried about his work or if he would show up. He was the most stable aspect of my wedding planning. If you want professionalism with a personal touch, hire Ryan.

’ve waited to write this review after I have had time to process the fact that I will never have wedding pictures that I love. I am completely heartbroken, and disappointed in my experience with Ryan. For reference, we paid Ryan $4000 to shoot our wedding on June 25th in Galveston. I had a feeling after our engagement picture session that I had made a horrible decision in hiring him to do our wedding, but we had already signed a contract and there was nothing I could do. Starting with our engagement session, Ryan seemed very unconcerned with everything and made both me and my husband very uncomfortable the entire time. He expected us to have planned poses and shots ahead of time, and I felt very pressured and uncomfortable the entire time he was taking our pictures. He continuously commented about how well my husband photographed and made me feel like I was ruining every shot. When we got our engagement pictures back, I felt okay about the wedding because he did take a handful of beautiful pictures. However, the majority of the photographs we received were unflattering, and quite frankly looked as if someone without any photography experience took them on their iPhone. I brushed this off as I knew the wedding would be the main focus, and I trusted that he would be more professional on our wedding day. I was very wrong to believe this l, and in retrospect I wish I would have just hired someone else. Ryan showed up on our wedding day, and from the beginning it was very obvious that he seemed like he would have rather been anywhere else. My sister asked him to take a few pictures and he completely ignored her. He sat around in the lobby before the wedding, and was very rude to my mom when she asked him a question. He is an extremely arrogant man. I again brushed this off, and focused on my wedding. Day. Our wedding was beautiful and perfect, and I was so excited to get to relive the day when our photos finally were ready 8 weeks after our wedding. When I opened the album, the first picture was the most unflattering picture I have ever seen of myself. It was almost as if he didn’t even look at the pictures before he sent them. When I began to scroll through the pictures I was devastated, and still to this day I am sick over how much of the day was not photographed and how terrible our pictures are. Ryan did not take a single picture of our flower girl and ring bearers, the only family photos he took have the worst lighting I have ever seen, and there are just so many things missing from the day. We do not have a single picture of either of our families that is worth framing, He did not take any photos of my husband or me with our parents, and there are only a handful of pictures of my husband and I that are worth showing others. This is a day that we will NEVER be able to recreate, and so much time and money went into making sure that everything was perfect. I am absolutely heart broken that I do not have even a single photograph of me and my family from my wedding day that doesn’t look like a terrible picture with the worst lighting I have ever seen. I am even more upset that I don’t have pictures of my nieces and nephews. I counted on him as the professional to make sure that our entire day was captured, and this just was not the case. Save yourself the heartache, and use somebody that will make sure you will be able to look back on your photos from your wedding day and not feel sick with regret.

Loved working with Ryan! He did an incredible job on our engagement photos and am so excited to see our wedding photos. He is so easy to work with and made us feel at ease.

When COVID changed our Galveston wedding plans and we needed to hire another photographer than planned, Ryan worked us in quickly, was thoughtful in how he approached his work, and gave us amazing photographs to cherish for a lifetime! Definitely recommend.

Ryan is such an incredible photographer and the whole process working with him was so easy. He was quick to respond to any communication, recommended beautiful locations to do our photoshoot, and gave great direction on how to pose with my big pregnancy belly! He is so down to earth it made the whole photoshoot feel comfortable like we were just hanging out with a friend. In a week or two he had tons of photos ready for us, and they came out better than we ever could have imagined. They are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much Ryan for doing such an amazing job of capturing the moment and helping to create a beautiful memory!

Ryan was incredible to work with from start to finish. He called me ahead of time and got to know a little bit about me and what I was looking for in my engagement photoshoot. He even asked me to send him my pinterest board so he could get an idea of my style. When Ryan arrived at the shoot (he arrived an hour early to check out the place), he helped my fiance and I decide which outfits would look best together for the photos. During the photoshoot, Ryan helped us stay relaxed and was really fun to work with. I felt comfortable the whole time. Oh! And he knows his stuff... He took the time to explain to me the different types of edits and tones in photography. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding... PICK RYAN!

Ryan is by far the best vendor we chose for our wedding. He exceeded our expectations on so many levels! He is very professional and friendly, which makes photos sessions so much more fun. Me and my now husband get pretty anxious in front of the camera, but he made us feel so comfortable and shot beautiful photos for our engagement and wedding pictures. I look back at my wedding photos so often and always end up having a smile on my face. Despite being the only photographer at our wedding, he was able to capture so many of the precious moments on our wedding day that would usually be overlooked. He definitely has an eye for the perfect shot. I would 100% recommend Ryan and do plan on rehiring him for our anniversary photos.

I hired Ryan for our engagement photo session. Ryan is an incredible photographer. He promptly responds to emails and text messages. He thoroughly answered all of my questions prior to our session. He did an excellent job guiding us through the session. He paid very close attention to all of the small details to make sure that we would be happy with our pictures. He is very friendly and personable, which helped make the session fun and stress free. Ryan had our pictures ready a week later! The pictures are incredible!! We love all of them so much! We have received so many compliments. It’s almost impossible to pick out our favorite, because they are all so good! I 100% recommend Ryan to be your photographer! He is extremely talented, professional, and very personable.

Ryan went above and beyond to capture our renewal. He got perfect shots, and went above and beyond to make sure our event was captured. I’m still in awe with the pictures he sent us.

Ryan was extremely professional and is very talented in what he does. We had a ceremony for our vow renewals, which included our three children. We wanted a photographer to capture those special moments and he got all of them and much more. The photos of our children’s facial expressions throughout the ceremony are priceless. And his turnaround on providing the pictures was less than 24 hrs from taking them, which is absolutely amazing. We planned our wedding from out of state. From the beginning, Ryan was always responsive and gave us frequent calls and texts to check in and explain the full process. We could tell he was passionate about what he does and really cares about his clients, so we felt very comfortable with him from the start. Throughout the process, he was always flexible and worked with our schedule whenever we could be in town for photos or further planning. From the initial contact I had with Ryan I knew he was going to be the one to photograph our wedding. We got married on February 20th 2020 in Exuma, Bahamas and it was nothing short of amazing. His communication from start to finish was great. The wedding was a lot to coordinate as it was out of the country but he delivered beyond my expectations. Now let’s talk about how amazing work! We had to contend with weather and tide because we were married on a sand bar in the middle of the ocean. He was very flexible and so helpful. Our pictures were amazing and we couldn’t be happier! Ryan Jones was awesome to work with and the photos came out amazing! He had great communication before, after and during the wedding. Ryan made himself available for phone calls and emails that worked with our schedule and was eager to get to know us as a couple and not just as clients. Ryan was completely willing to travel and was so easy going throughout the whole process. My wedding was in Austin, and even though Ryan is based in Galveston he had no problems with traveling to us. He's personable, fun and has an engaging personality and that made it so easy to take pictures on our incredibly tight schedule! All my bridesmaids and groomsmen felt so comfortable around Ryan. It was such a huge help to have his confidence and creative ideas the day of the wedding. Ryan does incredible work! He captured so many beautiful moments that we were so grateful to have. He was quick about getting the photos back to us (2 weeks!) and gave us a fun preview of the photos that we were able to see on our honeymoon. All in all, I would recommend Ryan to any bride. If you’re looking for a photographer for your wedding, I HIGHLY recommend Ryan! He is amazing! We used him for both engagement and wedding photos and could not be more pleased. I’m obsessed with our pictures. He caught all the best and important moments of our wedding. Even our guests were complimenting him about how he was so on the ball and seemed to be everywhere getting pictures. We got over 1500 pictures of our wedding and we are having a hard time picking our favorites. He also can help get videography for you wedding and it’s nice because he doesn’t pressure you to do it. We were on the fence about the videography and finally decided to do it and we are so glad we did! You can tell he really enjoys what he does and puts a lot into his photography to make sure his customers are happy with their photos. We have amazing photos to look back on to remember the best day of our lives! We have no regrets hiring Ryan to photograph our wedding.

Ryan is great! When I met him the first time, I knew he would be great! He definitely knows what he is doing and how to take beautiful photos. He is very patient, too. He takes time to find you the best background to take pictures and teaches you how to pose. Can’t believe how perfect our wedding photos and video came out! After meeting him at a small bridal expo, which happened to be at our venue, we have had nothing but an amazing experience with Ryan. I originally heard about Ryan through some friends who used him as their wedding photographer. After reviewing their pictures I immediately wanted him as my wedding photographer as well. Ryan is extremely easy to communicate with and instantly puts you at ease. Throughout our engagement shoot Ryan offered great suggestions for poses and used sunlight beautifully. He also did a great job at making the process as least awkward as possible, because if you’re no model it can be pretty dang awkward. Now that our engagements are done I’m looking forward to work with him again for the wedding!
