Ryan was beyond amazing! I read through the 5 star reviews online and thought Ryan seemed very promising. Wow, he definitely delivered and far exceeded our expectations. He helped my fiancé and I through the process by communicating frequently, telling us what would happen day of, finding all of our favorite songs, even downloading special versions of songs and taking our many requests. We had so many guests tell us how great Ryan was and we couldn’t agree more. He truly made our day extra special and we highly recommend him. If you’re looking for the best DJ, look no further- it’s definitely Ryan!

DJ RYAN! Not only is he a fantastic human, but exceeded our expectations with his music selections. Poor Ryan, we gave him very little to go on. Only a few genres that we liked and he was able to read the room and play exactly what everyone wanted to hear. He played random requests from our guests which made them completely happy. Would hire him over and over again!

Even though we didn’t meet Ryan in person until the day of, he was always quick to respond to calls or emails leading up to the day and he definitely did not disappoint on the day of. He was ready to please our music wants and needs for the day and made sure we were all on track with the correct songs and artists so that our reception playlist would turn out as planned. His setup with lights and speakers in multiple rooms was absolutely perfect & we truly could not have asked for a better DJ.

Ryan was absolutely fabulous! Ryan is fast a responding and was willing to change things as need. If you are able to you definitely need to book with Ryan he does a great job and focuses on you the whole evening.

I cannot refer enough people to Ryan. He was fantastic to work with, the quality of music and lights was awesome, and he did a great job of weaving together all the disparate elements of the event and walking is through how it all becomes one wedding. Prompt, responded quickly, set up and packed all his own stuff and very accommodating on location and setup. We have had several guests request the playlist he made for cocktail hour, and our dance floor was always full! Great job reading the crowd.

We could not have asked for a better DJ than Ryan! We knew after our first meeting with him that he was the perfect vendor for our wedding: extremely knowledgeable, reassuring, and invested in making our wedding exactly what we wanted. He was immediately responsive to every request we made and gave us great advice (timelines, setting the right tone, how to prep our bridal party, etc.). He even cleaned up the audio for our homemade first dance medley and sent us several versions until it sounded perfect! During the wedding, he kept everything moving and everyone having a great time. He listened to all of our requests, including making sure there were a few slow dances. He even got up on a chair to instruct our somewhat raucous bridal party on how to enter! We are so glad we went with him; he made the evening stress-free and a blast!

We held our wedding reception at the Columbus Athenaeum in May, and Ryan did a perfect job as our DJ!! Music was one aspect of our wedding day that was very important to us, and Ryan made sure that everything was exactly to our liking before our big day. He played all the songs and types of music that we had requested, and was great at reading the crowd and keeping the party going. He helped to throw one awesome party, and our guests all had a great time dancing! Ryan was great to work with, and he will exceed your expectations if you pick him as your DJ! I had the pleasure of working with Ryan at a wedding this past weekend. He truly made his clients dream come true with wedding songs and getting their guests on the dance floor. Ryan did a phenomenal job as our wedding DJ! Ryan was a hit at our wedding! He did such a great job reading the crowd and was able to keep people on the dance floor all night long. I had family members say that was the most they have ever danced at the wedding. We recently hired Ryan to be the DJ and master of ceremony for our son’s wedding ceremony and reception. Ryan did a great job and has an easy, laid back attitude. We had one guest tell me that he really appreciated the fact that our reception was so well orchestrated (introduction, speeches, dances, etc running on time). This was a Mexican/American wedding and another guess pleasantly commented on the diversity of the songs. I would highly recommend Ryan for weddings and events.

Our wedding day was absolutely flawless. I had high expectations for a DJ and Ryan absolutely went above and beyond my expectations. Ryan did an awesome job. He kept the dance floor full all night. He played every single song we requested by name. We trusted him to make most of the song choices, though, because he knows what really works. He discussed the type of mood we wanted for each part of the night and then delivered. We asked him for some unusual things (the bride and her father were secretly planning to sing instead of dance, the groom was secretly planning to serenade the bride, we wanted him to distribute glow sticks late in the reception, etc) and each time we was 100% accommodating. He supplied the extra mics and boom stand. He met with us as a couple to discuss our plans and desires and met with the bride and groom on several occasions in person to prepare for the surprises. He also graciously kept our secrets from each other. He was the epitome of responsive and professional. For the product he delivered, we really feel he was a bargain. Our wedding day was *perfect* and Ryan is a large reason why! He played the music for our ceremony and our reception. We only had 100 guests at our wedding so I felt a little nervous hoping that people would want to dance and hoping that everyone had a good time. From the first moment, my fiancee and I met with Ryan, we knew that he would be the perfect one to DJ our wedding. Ryan Smith was recommended to us by another DJ that we originally tried to book but was not free. I couldn't be happier that he was referred to us as I don't think that any other DJ could've provided the type of party that he put on! We contracted with Ryan for our daughter's May, 2014 wedding reception at Bryn Du Mansion. He was wonderful. The reception was held both inside and outdoors and the music was everywhere. He is very easy to work with and always accommodating. He is a particular favorite of the staff at Bryn Du. The playlist was spot on, he incorporated requests and when the timeline got a little sideways he just rolled with it. Ryan and the music he provided was one thing I didn't have to worry about. Because he is so good and so popular, book him early.

Ryan Smith was definitely worth what we paid for him. I still have people telling me how much fun they had at the wedding. My sister is engaged and was thinking of doing a destination wedding but has now decided she needs to have a traditional wedding. She said one of the things that has changed her mind was she loved the club atmosphere outside at night at the wedding. She said she had never had so much fun because typically she is indoors in a banquet hall with a cheesy dj...but she said ours was awesome. So she decided she needed to have a traditional wedding and not destination basically because our dj was great.

Ryan was a fantastic dj for us, start to finish. He handled the cocktail hour music and the reception music, with set-ups in two separate rooms. He also has his own lighting system for the dance floor, which made it feel like such a fun party. It was really important to us that people dance the whole time, and he did a great job of mixing his sets so that we really did keep people on the dance floor. We gave him a long list of requested songs and he wove in similar songs with those to create a really fun playlist. He was very unobtrusive and very professional the whole night, and was really easy to work with before the event. He's perhaps a little more expensive than some DJs, but it is absolutely worth every penny!

Ryan is the best DJ EVAR!! We told him the music we like and wanted to hear on the day of and he made magic from there. We didn't give him more than 10(ish) specific songs for the reception and he went from there and created a mix for us that kept people on the dance floor the whole night. I had several guests come up to me and comment on how great the music was and that they loved that song that was just played! He was always great at getting back to us with any questions and definitely knows his craft. I hope that we can use his services again in the future. He was great to work with =)

Ryan was a wonder to work with and I wholeheartedly recommend him for anyone looking to make the music a memorable part of the evening.

My hubby and I are huge music fans, so finding the right DJ was important to us. We looked far and wide and finally found Ryan, and we are so happy that we did! We instantly knew he had a great sense of music but more importantly, on the night of the wedding we learned that he also has a great sense of the mood of the dance floor. He had us ROCKING all night long! He played the random songs we requested, incorporated the wedding go-tos (but was careful to keep an eye on our too-cheesy list and didnt play those songs). :) He takes a very personalized approach to his work, making sure we were all on the same page before the wedding and checking with me before playing a song requested by our flower girls. :) Overall, I was incredibly happy to have Ryan playing the soundtrack to our perfect wedding, and I think our guests really enjoyed themselves because Ryan kept the party going until the lights went out! I didnt leave the dance floor all night, and this is thanks to Ryan. Awesome mood, awesome music, awesome DJ!
