He was punctual and professional, but more importantly he was kind, supportive, helpful, fun and brought a great energy to our day. He played music for us during first look and during group photos which made a big difference in the tone of the photos, and made all of the time you spend taking photos enjoyable. He was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and prioritized taking all of the photos during the wedding that I had previously indicated were important! I also wasn't sure where a good first look location would be, and he scouted out the perfect area. f our engagement session, it was raining. Ryan offered to reschedule however also mentioned that a little bit of rain could make for some great photos. The photos did not disappoint! We had our shoot at McConnells Mill and Moraine State Park. We hiked into the woods where Ryan knew of some of the best scenic backgrounds. The photos turned out perfect! He is very responsive to all texts and emails and is very organized. Our wedding day was absolutely flawless! Ryan and Abbey are a great team and great at what they do. They scoped out the landscape prior to our photos to find some trees which still had color left. Ryan and Abbey even had a photo shoot with some little guests who were playing in the leaves. They found every big and small moment to capture the We can’t wait to see all of the photos, we know they are going to be amazing!

They’ll make you feel so comfortable that the photos just come naturally and they’re somehow able to capture all those real, raw moments where your love and personality shines through. The truth is, I got to spend some time with them on my wedding day- getting ready, taking portraits, doing all the traditional stuff at the reception- and they’re really freaking awesome (not just awesome people, but awesome photographer- I mean, check out the blog). Hands down would 10000% recommend every day of the week no questions asked. Stop looking and book them, now!!

so incredibly comfortable and his photography skills are beyond amazing. Our wedding day was no different. Ryan and Abbey are first-class human beings. Most importantly, we have the most beautiful wedding pictures I have ever seen. He captured US which is what we were looking for. He and Abby (his wife and second shooter) had such a calming presence during the wedding day and helped navigate us to get breath taking photos. Ryan even gave my now husband his water bottle to drink from when he started to get overheated from being in the sun in his suit and taking photos. We got our photos back in less than three weeks and every single one is a keeper. Truly cannot say enough good things about the photos and Ryan and Abby and highly recommend them!!

His wife Abbey was our second shooter, and she also killed it. They even drove us to our venue after our first look, and had champagne for us in the car! Above and BEYOND guys. Throughout our 2 year engagement, Ryan was super responsive, organized, and helpful with scouting locations for our engagement shoot and golden hour pics on our wedding day. I asked my husband who 'our best' vendor was, and he didn't hesitate: Ryan! You will spend your entire wedding date two feet away from your photographer - make sure they are awesome! Cannot thank him enough.

vanced with Ryan for 10 hours of photography over two days. His total time of taking photos fell under 6 hours according to time stamps on the photos. There was a time gap of an hour and 20 minutes of the reception that no photos were taken. I hired Ryan because he calls himself a photo journalist- someone who can grab that perfect shot on the fly. However, the only photos that turned out were the staged ones. We paid for an additional photographer during the wedding ceremony, someone Ryan guided through to take photos. Ryan stated it was due to being in a church however so many photos were missed during the ceremony. We have no photos of the groom’s face during the ceremony. No photos of the groomsman. We have one of me, the bride, saying the vows. And that’s about it. We had a brunch after that Ryan came to and only took 3 photos of. We received no photos of the cocktail hour. When we first received the photos we received quite a few of the same 5 guests (females) and of no one else. After asking for the raws we were excited to find at least a few of others however, we only received pictures of about 15% of our guests. Ryan stated that he does not take pictures of people mingling. I could go on but I have tried to put this past. My advice if you do decide to hire Ryan is to be extremely specific about your expectations- if you want pictures of flowers, say so (we didn’t get any). If you want pictures at the ceremony, say so. If you want pictures of guests, say so. Etc. Tie these specific expectations to the contract. Make addendums. Do not settle. Do not assume Ryan will get the photos you expect. oments of my life but I can say Zach and I have made a lifelong friend. I reached out to Ryan after attending a friend’s wedding that he shot a few years ago, once I saw her final photos I instantly fell in love (pun intended) with his photography. I couldn’t imagine anyone else shooting my wedding. When I got engaged Ryan was my first phone call (after friends and family of course ). He happily worked with me over a two year period to shoot both our engagement photos in May 2016 and our wedding weekend April 13-14th 2018. Over that time we got to know him pretty well between the planning emails and phone calls. However our engagement session is what solidified that Ryan was the perfect photographer for us. He made us feel so comfortable and honestly it felt like just hanging out with a friend not an awkward photo-shoot at all, and the result was amazing. We bonded over travel, adventure, pups, hiking, beer and stunning sunsets. After that I think we all were excited to see what he would be able to capture over our wedding weekend. We had a destination wedding of sorts, our large extended family from out of state all came together and stayed on one amazing property for the weekend to celebrate. We had Ryan attend the rehearsal dinner to have more time to capture family and friends who haven’t been all together for years. Then of course he was with us for our wedding day. Ryan seamless fit into the day it felt like he was always meant to be there. By the end of the weekend Ryan was a part of the family. He was so easy to work with it never felt like work and the pictures we now have are too wonderful for words. We all will cherish Ryan and his photos for a lifetime. Lauren

going guy, Ryan was great to work with throughout. He scheduled a meeting with us to get a feel for the type of event we were going for. Walking through the vision over lunch about a month before the event, we figured out a basic timeline and a list of shots with family, friends, and the wedding party we knew we wanted. Leading up to the week of the event, we nailed down the schedule, confirmed the desired shots and lighting setup, and he squared things away with our day-of coordinator Natasha. Ryan arrived early Saturday and spent the whole day shooting events as the day developed. He joked around with and laughed with bridesmaids, picked a great location for groomsmen photos near the venue that he scouted out earlier in the week, and flawlessly executed a plan B for post-ceremony bridal party pictures after it had rained prior killing the original plan. Dual wielding two Canon’s, he was like the John Wick of wedding photography. Calm, super efficient, and fun, there were several times were either Kell, a family member / guest, or I asked him if was going to get a particular shot and he had already done so. Having seen a preview of the the photos less than a week after the event, we’re sure the final shots will turn out great. He was very thorough and sincere in what he hopes to capture with his photos. His website is one of the big reasons we wanted to work with him. He had a short video of himself explaining his work and the types of people and environments he likes to work with. Although he travels all over the country to shoot wedding photos, he works out of the Butler area and has a prominent role in Pittsburgh. We reached out to him, found that he was available, and realized that we were going to be working with an incredible guy who really is an amazing artist. Ryan offers multiple packages and the one we chose included engagement photos, a personalized wedding website, and wedding day photos. Ryan takes all of the pictures and grants immediate access directly to you without any watermarks, obligations to order prints off of him, etc. You pay for the photos and you get them. Something that our guests really loved about the wedding was the website that Ryan created for us. He has samples on his own company website, but he really set it up how we asked, and if there were tweaks, he updated the site for us whenever we needed it. It was nice to have a website made just for us where all of our photos would be accessible for our guests. On top of the amazing website, we also received wonderful photos from both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Ryan really took the time to get to know my husband and I and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. Ryan's fiancee, Abbey, is is second shooter and she is equally wonderful. They work great together and really helped us enjoy those times. Leading up to the wedding, Ryan was very professional and timely with checking in about what photos we hoped to get on the wedding day and details for where he and Abbey needed to be and when. They were prompt, professional, and fit in great with our friends and family. Many weddings I have been to have photographers that either look way too casual for the event, or dress all in black and stand out at all times. Ryan and Abbey dressed like wedding guests and interacted with the people at our wedding. By the time the wedding day came, my husband and I had developed such a friendship with both of them that we still keep in touch months later. Ryan and Abbey were able to make anyone and everyone look great, and they utilized the spaces of every location to their advantage. We didn't want to miss much of our cocktail hour, so Ryan took us to spots closeby our reception and helped create scenery that we would normally take for granted. Our friends and family have been raving over his photos and we could not be more thrilled with how they turned out. His turnaround time is very quick and he constantly made us feel like we were in good hands. I could go on and on, but bottom line: Thank you Ryan and Abbey-- you two are rockstars!

Ryan was so prompt with all his communications and we talked a few times on the phone as well to make sure we had all the details ironed out. When the wedding day finally arrived, Ryan was on time and even was wearing a bow tie! He was darling. He jumped right in taking pictures of the girls getting their hair and makeup done and bounced between us and the guys all morning. One of my favorite things about Ryan was that he was willing to be where ever he needed to be to get a great shot. I saw him peaking out from behind our backdrop during our ceremony and standing in what I thought was the strangest of places of times. lol. But when I saw the pictures I totally understood why and I was AMAZED. We had to alter our plan for pictures after the ceremony because of how cold it was and Ryan managed to find us some great locations on the fly and the shots were incredible. I never thought that shots basically standing in the middle of an abandoned street could turn out so beautiful. What he did with the lighting and sunset behind us in those shots was honestly breathtaking. He knew the type of feel we wanted for our pictures and he more than delivered. I cannot say enough great things about Ryan or his talent. I wish I could some how add pictures to my post so people could see his amazing work but I don't think I'm able to. My fiance immediately liked Ryan as well and was way more comfortable getting his picture taken than he thought he would be.
