We ordered a one tier cutting cake and cupcakes for our guests. The pricing was affordable. Our appointment with the tasting and getting everything set up was great. Very easy process. However, we dropped off flowers for the cake 2 weeks prior to our wedding as they asked. They asked us to email inspiration pictures to them so they could decorate. Upon picking up the cake, the cake was not decorated. I had to have a family member decorate it. The cake and cupcakes were delicious!

I can't say enough good things about Ryke's and Meeko, the wedding coordinator. My daughter is artistic and wanted to personalize her cake with a silouette of she and her fiance's life interests. She made a stencil on her Cricut that wrapped around the middle tier of the cake. It had a camping theme with a tent, a side by side, a campfire, the stars and moon. She was late in getting the stencil to the bakery and they were so nice about if and made it work. She chose the semi naked caked. I was worried that it would be dry but Meeko assured me that they would get enough frosting to keep the moisture in and still have the semi naked look. The cake was beautiful, delicious, delivered on time. Meeko is beyond awesome to work with. She is such a sweet, thoughtful, organized and kind businessperson. I so enjoyed working with her. She understood my frustration with my daughter (the procrastinator) and assured me all would be fine. If ever I need a cake for an event again, I will use Ryke's (as long as Meeko is still there). Who knows? Maybe I can talk my husband into a vow renewal and party! If you are on the fence about Ryke's, I say take the plunge and use them! You won't be sorry.

We wanted to do various bites and Ryke's delivered! For very reasonable prices we were able to do an assortment of cupcakes and dessert bites, as well as a small cake to cut. We ordered plenty for our 200+ wedding and our guests cleared everything off the dessert table. My guests loved that there were gluten free options! Very nice to work with and helpful.

Love the cake. It’s perfect, design was beautiful, flavor was unbelievable. I just wish that they would have done a 3-4 tier cake and delivered it. But it wasn’t an option. Transportation for 72 cupcakes and a 2 tier cake in a car not designed for that was a nightmare.

Ryke's really outdid themselves with our cake and the desserts we ordered from them were delicious. Their service was very responsive, they worked with us through multiple date changes because of covid, and were just generally a pleasure to work with. I 100% recommend them for your event. Wedding cake: We did a nontraditional cake. It was three-tiered, with blue marbling with other colors mixed in, and some gold leaf. Each tier was different, one chocolate, one vanilla, and one mixed. The icing was buttercream. It was absolutely delicious and STUNNING. The coolest cake I've seen honestly. We gave them a reference photo from Pinterest and they were able to really make it their own with the colors we asked for. It was a wow factor. Everyone kept saying how cool the cake was. Desserts: We did mini cheesecake bites in chocolate Reese's, turtle, and chocolate mocha. Each was delicious and a great little bite to compliment the cake and some other desserts.

Cake was delicious, as always! When I got engaged, there wasn’t any other option but Ryke’s for the wedding cake. They unfortunately don’t do delivery, so keep that in mind to have someone on standby to pick up your cake day of. Communication was good via email when I sent in my package to initially book; and a quick reply when I emailed to confirm details the week of, as well.

Still daydreaming about our wedding cake… They went above and beyond during our cake tasting and delivered us a cake exact to our vision. It was beautiful but also SO DELICIOUS. We received so many compliments and I cannot wait to order another cake every anniversary.

My wedding was a quick elopement, so my experience will be different than the average bride. I visited the Holland location the day before my ceremony with my mom. We told the girl working the counter that we were looking for a wedding cake and she helped us pick a ready standard sized cake from the cabinet. I chose a white cake with raspberry and Bavarian creme filling. It was already decorated with some raspberry filling and edible glitter, so I added some fresh raspberries, a couple daisies from the garden, and our personalized cake topper. Price was right where I would expect for a cake from a bakery. The cake was absolutely delicious! One of the best cakes I've ever had. I can only imagine what a personalized cake would taste or look like. I would definitely recommend this bakery.

My husband and I recently got married this past weekend and had Ryke's for all our dessert needs and they were incredible! We had given them a photo of our desired look for our cake and ours looked almost identical to the photo and we were more than impressed! We had two flavors of cupcakes and four flavors of donuts and there were hardly any of either left after the big day! Communication was so easy with their team and everyone was always so prompt in getting back with us about any of our needs and questions. We had only tried one cake bakery and after our taste testing and the competitive pricing we were sold on using Ryke's for our big day. We had them deliver everything to the venue and from what I know we didn't have to worry about a thing. They had contacted our florist and our venue to make sure they had an exact plan for everything after it was delivered. I am so impressed by them and can't thank them enough for being a part of our day! Ryke's Rocks!

Our cake was beautiful!!!!! It was exactly what we had wanted and could have envisioned! Pricing was great as well as delivery and placement of our topper and flowers! The cake tasted just as great as it looked!

If you want the best tasting desserts with a quality product at an insanely affordable price, buy from here! I had a dessert bar that everyone raved about. The most delicious donuts, cupcakes, brownies and cheesecake bites not to mention an insanely moist wedding cake that I could have ate for days. The desserts were fresh, tasted amazing and beautiful to look at. I just wish I could've eaten more!

As soon as we started wedding planning we KNEW we wanted Rykes to do the cake. We met with Breanna and tasted so many great options. She made the process easy and knew exactly what I wanted when I said a naked cake, but not too naked. We ended up choosing cupcakes and just having a small cake to cut. All of it was delicious. I recommend Rykes for any and all occasion. It’s my go to place for cupcakes and cakes.

What else can you say other then the food is everything you could have asked for and more! The guests were delighted at the difference to other wedding menus, and we had enough left overs to eat for a week after!

Everything about our experience with Ryke's was fantastic, especially since we were planning our wedding from another country! Breanna worked with us through email, and allowed us to send relatives to do the tasting, and were able to make our cakes exactly the way we wanted them. Not to mention, they tasted like heaven. We received many complements from our guests regarding how delicious they were. The highlight was the our special request for a groom's cake shaped like a giant curling stone and they delivered (pun intended)! It looked so real that our curling friends grabbed it for a photo booth shot next to their curling broom!

Ryke's went above and beyond for our wedding. I requested a custom flavor and a very unique design and they did an absolutely incredible job. The cupcakes for our guests were stunning and both the cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious. Ryke's was so easy to work with and so reasonably priced--we could not have asked for more!

We chose Ryke's to provide the cake and donuts for our wedding. They were very friendly and helpful in the whole planning process part of the wedding. The cake and donuts were exactly as we had ordered them, and they were, without exception, delicious. The only small problem we encountered was that the cake wasn't ready when we arrived to collect it on the day, but they resolved this problem by delivering the cake and donuts themselves, and everything was where it needed to be in time.

Our cake was beautiful for our wedding! Rykes did an excellent job placing the satin ribbon we had picked out along with the yellow flowers. Our 2 tiered cake was definitely the center piece on our cake table alongside the delicious cupcakes. I have had many Rykes cakes in the past and they never disappoint!

I am so happy I was given Ryke's information about wedding catering. We had a vast array of desserts which included multiple flavors of cake and cupcakes. Everything was gone in a matter of seconds. On another note, the service was great. Working with Breanna was so seamless, especially important when planning a wedding. Their service was phenomenal. Only one hick up, which was easily fixed and taken care of - when I went to pick up the cake/cupcakes, they had forgot to make one of my sheet cakes. They apologized and had it ready within the matter of 1 hour. I would highly recommend Ryke's for any service, especially wedding catering!

Breanna and the bakers at Ryke's absolutely nailed it. Our cake was absolutely stunning and exactly what I was looking for. I got so many compliments from guests who had never had their cake before. Breanna was very accommodating when we needed to make sizing changes due to our guest count changing and the fact that she worked with our florist to get the flowers we had as a topper so that I didn't have to be the middle man was a huge help during an already stressful time.

We live in China for 10 months out of the year and had the challenge of planning most of our wedding via e-mail. Breanna and her team were amazing with their level of communication, professionalism, friendliness, and creativity. They took our Pinterest-inspired ideas and created a dessert plan for us that really captured the fun and yummy desserts we were wanting. They are detailed and thorough, and helped us throughout the entire planning process. Ryke’s sweets are simply THE BEST. Having a dessert buffet offered all of our guests something they would like – people raved about the brownies, assortment of cupcakes, and cake pops for days to come! Everyone had their “favorite” dessert. I would highly recommend Rykes, not just for a wedding but for any dessert needs. Thank you!

Ryke's provided the donuts, cupcakes, and small cake for our wedding. Everything was delicious, especially the donuts! We ran out, so I would suggest ordering extra if you don't plan to serve cake as well. In addition to tasting great, the presentation was absolutely beautiful! Breanna was so great to work with. She made sure everything was covered and followed up as the day got closer to ensure everyone was on the same page. I can't say enough about Ryke's. You won't be disappointed if you choose Ryke's for your wedding desserts!

Ryke's is DELICIOUS, affordable, and makes some beautiful cakes. Brianna is super patient and helps you through the whole process. She is excellent about asking you about your budget and style and then laying out all your options. They were so easy to work with and our cake turned out beautifully. My husband doesn't even really like sweets and he ate every bite of his cake!

We went with a small cake for us and cupcakes for guests. They were delicious, even a month after the wedding we're still eating some of the cake and it still taste just as good. Breanna was awesome to work with, and kept in touch throughout the our wedding planning process. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Rykes catered our wedding reception at Seven Steps Up in August. They were friendly, professional and flexible and the food was fabulous. We received countless compliments on the food and Rykes had everything beautifully set up when guests arrived. The service was flawless and they neatly packed leftovers up for us. Would definitely refer others to Rykes and use them again in the future.

I used Ryke's bakery for my wedding that took place at the Holiday Inn- Spring Lake back in September. Ryke's bakery has outstanding staff, services, and the best cupcakes/cake ever. The icing is to die for! I would recommend Ryke's bakery for any special event or just to stop in and treat yourself to a delicious sample of heaven! Ryke's did an amazing job with our wedding cake and donuts! Breanna met with us at the bakery for a complimentary tasting and discussion about design for our wedding cake. We had been considering a geode cake, but were nervous about the execution. However, once we saw a display in their window of a geode cake they had made previously we felt confident Ryke's would deliver a beautiful cake! Breanna was responsive and helpful all along the way whether we had a question or needed to add sheet cake to our order! Ryke's took care of the delivery, set up, and communication with our vendor. The best part was the quality of the cake, we got so many compliments about how great it tasted. It was great to know that the quality did not waiver whether for a small tasting for 2 or a wedding of 100.

I was able to attend wedding walk in grand haven and was able to sample there desserts. We were trying to pick between Rykes or Cakabakery, we determined that for the taste, price and variety Rykes was the better of the two. We had a 3 tier cake, apple pie and cheesecake bites for the wedding. If I could do it over again, I would have added more desserts, my guest enjoyed our variety and wanted more.

Breana at Ryke's was a thrill to work with. She understood what my fiancé and I were looking for and appreciated our creativity! We decided to do a "naked cake" which does not have frosting on the outside of the cake but does have frosting on the inside. They put an apricot glaze and powdered sugar on the outside and it was simple and stunning. Their cake is delicious and our guests asked us for more! When my groom requested that we have a cake from Ryke's for our Detroit wedding, I knew I had to make it happen. Everything held up perfectly for the trip and it tasted fresh for our big day. Our cake was gorgeous and delicious. Guests loved the buttercream and shimmer. I can't wait to continue the tradition of a Ryke's cake for our anniversaries and future celebrations.

Ryke's provided my cake for my wedding and it was wonderful. I worked with Paula and she gave us great options to get us what we were looking for in our budget. My guests are still talking about the cake. They also made the cupcakes for my rehearsal dinner and those were also amazing with all the flavor options.

I had a big wedding (400 guests) and Ryke's did an amazing job making everyone happy. They used my family's farms apples in the menu, which was my big request. They also made five different flavors of cupcakes for my dessert and they were all delicious. I have had countless wedding guests tell me they loved the food. The staff was very professional and nice and the head chef asked me if I needed anything before they left for the night. I would recommend them to everyone!

We had a winter wedding and did a three tier cake with butter creme pipping on the side made into pine trees and mountains. They had never done a cake like ours and it was absolutely beautiful! The cake itself was delicious and moist and everything you want in a cake. They are an amazing bakery and do a great job you can't go wrong with anything from Ryke's!

The customer service and food was delicious. We ordered extra cupcakes for our wedding than the suggested because we wanted to have left overs for ourselves but, guests liked the cupcakes so much they ate more than the average person! We had so many compliments on how good our cupcakes were and many people asked where we got them from! We had 4 flavors of the mini gourmet cupcakes at our wedding and they were all amazing! Working with Ryke's Bakery, Catering, and Cafe made the wedding planning much easier and less stressful. They know what they are doing and they will do just about anything to make sure your wedding day is exactly what you want. We had a last minute change the week before the wedding on a cupcake flavor and Ryke's accommodated the change with no problem. I would recommend in a heartbeat!
