Roger Yu came highly recommended from our friend who happens to be a photography enthusiast as well. We didn't really know what to expect until he took us out for our engagement photo session. It was a blast; we had a good time and the photos he took came out splendidly well. Perhaps it was the natural lighting, the composition or simply the moment he was able to capture through his lens. But it could also be his personality which brought out the best in us. Everything worked so well on that day. Similarly on our wedding day, Roger and his team diligently photographed us from morning to dusk. It was hard work but his team was committed so we felt rest assured. Indeed, several months later when we finally received our photographs, we are so delighted to see that everything came out perfect. I'd recommend him for any type of photography session. He is reliable, professional and trustworthy.

Roger is awesome! From the first meeting with him to our wedding day, we have really enjoyed working with him. He has been responsive, patient, and so nice through all our correspondence. His photographs are absolutely stunning: classic, elegant, and timeless. We really appreciated seeing a few sneak peaks of the photos from our wedding day just a day after the wedding. The rest of the images also turned out beautifully.

Roger was so wonderful during the entire wedding planning process. He was nice, professional and always got back to me with any questions or concerns. My now husband is a little shy in front of the camera, stiff and a bit awkward. Roger helped him along with what to do and even had us do some action shots which helped loosen him up and photographing so well. Our pictures turned out better than we could have imagined and hoped. EVERYONE absolutely loves our photos. Great...great photographer. I HIGHLY recommend him! You will not be disappointed.

Roger did a fantastic job at our wedding. He and his second shooter were on time, came early for the pre-wedding and stayed late for the reception. He was very professional and worked great with all the guests! We got great pictures of our event and most importantly my wife was very happy with the results!

very nice photographer who worked with our budget. cannot wait to see some of his work from our wedding. brought in a second photographer who was also professional. Make sure you introduce him to your videographer or other vendors and make sure they work around each other rather than get in each others' way. I didn't meet my videographer until the day of the wedding, so i didn't have a chance to set a meeting between both the vendors or set ground rules. the videographer was all over the place and that affected how the pictures came out as in the videographer was in half of our pictures while Roger was trying to avoid him. If i had introduced them to each other, I'm sure the working atmosphere would have been better and the videographer would have been more invisible rather than integrated in our pictures.

I'm so happy that I booked Roger Yu for my 5.19.2012 wedding! I had researched and spoken with so many photographers while planning my wedding and I went with Roger because, not only is his work incredibly beautiful, but he has such a kind and relaxed personality. Every other photographer that I spoke with seemed pushy or wanted to orchestrate everything, but I wanted someone who wouldn't stress me out on an already stressful day. Roger was so accommodating and made my husband, my wedding party, and myself very comfortable. Nothing felt rushed or forced. He seems to use a photo-journalistic style, in that, he captures beautiful moments throughout the day naturally, which I love! The day after our wedding, Roger emailed me a handful of teaser photos and they're absolutely stunning! I couldn't be happier and I can't wait to see the rest. Thank you, Roger! I recently was married on March 30, 2012 and absolutely loved our pictures from Roger. We used him for our engagement shoot as well and he was very prompt and efficient in returning our photos. The quality of the pictures truly shows how dedicated he is to his work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a photographer.
