My dance career started in 2005 when I chose to follow my passion & pursue dance over the degree I earned in Physical Therapy. I have been fortunate to be a Pro on "Dancing with Stars" India version (Jhalak Dikhla Ja); have created history by being India's first Latin Ballroom DanceSport athlete representing India in over 20 countries; have received Top Pro Title as Best Wedding Dance Choreographer in USA; a celebrity trainer to many popular bollywood stars including Kajol, Shahrukh, Madhuri Dixit .... and received love and appreciation from more than 500 couples I've taught across the globe.

It was a pleasure working with Priti – she is very patient, talented, a great instructor and simply amazing. I am older, was under a time crunch and needed dance moves that were simpler, easy to pick up. Priti was very accommodating, worked with me, and provided the dance steps in videos she created during a combined two sessions. She also incorporated special moves that I wanted included, and provided suggestions on others. All in all, Priti did a fabulous job, and the awesome performance at the Sangeet showed for it.

I have been a student at Saanwee Perfoming Arts with my husband for several years. We have had a fantastic time learning first salsa, and then swing at Saanwee performing Arts! The instructors (and especially Priti) are not only skilled and professional, but also incredibly welcoming and encouraging, regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or comfortable with dancing.
The pace of the classes was just right with clear demonstrations and lots of time to practice.
Priti has vast experience with multiple dance techniques and is able to break down the steps and the logic behind the different techniques very simply and clearly.
What really stood out was how Priti encouraged the energy in the room to be fun, supportive, and full of laughter. We left each class feeling confident, energized, and looking forward to the next session.
Strongly recommend this class to any individual or couple or family, looking to learn any dance form for an event (or just generally), and have a blast while doing it.

I've been taking classes at Saanwee Performing Arts for something like 5 years, and couldn't be more thrilled to be working with Priti for the choreography of my fiancé and my first dance at our wedding. Priti has been so helpful with everything from song selection, to choreographing and recording the steps for us at the end of each lesson, to refining the even the small details that will elevate our first dance. We're doing a Ballroom/Bollywood fusion dance and it's been so much fun to learn together with her. Highly recommend!

Priti of Saanwee Performing Arts is amazing! Priti choreographed 2 dances for me; one was a solo ( Shiva dance) and the other was a group couple salsa dance on Valentine’s Day. Priti understands each participant’s level and makes it easy and fun for all! Some of my friends did not have any previous dance experience and yet they had so much fun learning from her that they are planning the next group choreography. Priti is very professional and at the same time very easy to approach and talk to. Above all, she is an outstanding performer!

Priti was such a joy to work with! My fiancé and I were nervous about dancing in front of a crowd, but she made us feel completely at ease. She was patient, encouraging, and really understood what we were going for. The choreography felt natural and fun, and she even sent us videos after each session so we could practice at home. We have used Priti Gupta and Saanwee to choreograph multiple solo and small group dances for family weddings. Though my preference is in person, we have also done remote when I couldn’t make it to her studio,
Priti was wonderful to work with, She worked with my tight schedule, helped me select the appropriate song (or songs as in a few cases we did a multi song medley), and her music editor gave me the edited song in perfect time. In one case she helped me pivot quickly when the bride changed her mind on the desired theme.
For context, these were Bollywood dances for me and my elementary age daughter,
So in sum, if you are looking for a choreographer for the bride or groom, family or attendee who is easy to work with, has a deep knowledge of trends, access to the correct technology (such as a music editor) and can work with all age groups, please consider Priti and Saanwee.
Her price is also lower (in my research) than the local market.

Priti is incredible. She's a savant for choreography and helped us choreograph and practice for a wedding dance with 2 weeks notice - and the outcome was incredible. She's creative, talented, and easy to work with and she took what could have been a stressful situation and made it fun. I can't recommend her enough and will definitely be returning for other wedding dances.

We are so grateful we found Priti and Saanwee. We're having a fusion wedding and knew we wanted our first dance to include both ballroom and Bollywood sections. It was pretty difficult to find a choreographer who had experience with both! Then we found Priti, who was just the perfect match. Priti worked with us to find the perfect package of sessions and was always flexible with offering us both in person and virtual sessions. The choreography was really personalized, both to our songs and the kinds of stuff we wanted to do. The choreo is impressive in the best way: she met us where we were with our dancing skills levels (one of us is definitely not a dancer lol) but also challenged us gently to go above and beyond and really learn some cool moves. And the process of doing dance lessons itself was really fun - great way to get excited about the wedding day. On top of that Priti is so kind, skilled, and experienced; we're really privileged to be able to work with someone who has worked at the highest stages of dance. We have loved working with Saanwee, would highly recommend them for any wedding or other dance services, and are excited to keep working with Saanwee!

My daughter and I were preparing for her wedding and knew 2 things: 1) the song we wanted to use for our father-daughter dance, and 2) we wanted our dance to be special and to be fun. But our problems came it twos as well: 1) neither of us is a dancer, and 2) we had no idea as to what sort of dance to employ with this song. We went to Priti for help and she not only assessed our (lack of – my words) dance ability, but choreographed and taught us the perfect dance for this song and our abilities. We came into our lessons with a feeling of trepidation and anxiety, and left with confidence and a sense of anticipation. This allowed us to have what I felt was the perfect experience at our daughter's wedding: we had fun! The dance went well and was very well received - we still made a few mistakes, but did not care. The main mission was accomplished and we received many kudos for our dance as a bonus!
I would strongly recommend using Priti’s expertise and easy style whether you are a beginner needing a lot of help or a seasoned dancer wanting some ‘tweaking’ or simply another expert perspective.

We really appreciated Priti - her patience, expertise, encouragement, and serenity when we were anxious about the dance. She has an extensive and incredible dance background, and had a great balance of giving constructive criticism and encouraging small accomplishments over time until they got better. We really liked the choreography to our song, and she was patient when we decided to change our song after the first few lessons. Lastly, she was very easy to talk to and helped us to enhance our stage presence. We would highly recommend her!! =)

Priti was absolutely amazing! She helped us create a great first dance routine for our wedding day. The moves were easy to learn and looked great when put together. She teaches the steps and then we put them together into chunks allowing time for practice in between sessions for the sequence of moves to become muscle memory. She even helped my father and I with our father/daughter dance. We completed it in one session since she did such a great job coming up with a sweet but simple routine for us!

Priti has truly been a godsend for us! We had been wanting to choreograph our first dance, but, as with any wedding, we were slowly running out of time. We contacted Priti about a month before our big day, and not only was she able to accommodate her schedule for us, but she created a routine that was unforgettable! My wife and I loved working with Priti while preparing for our first dance at our wedding. Priti broke down the whole routine into multiple components, which we practiced independently before combining all of them into a complete routine. I am very grateful towards Saanwee for helping us with our wedding dance. Me and my husband, we both were non-dancers hence trainers at Saanwwe dance lessons in Hoboken designed the perfect dance with simple moves for us and made sure we get perfect in it. Working with Priti was effortless. She is an amazingly talented dancer and provides instruction with ease and grace. My husband and I decided that we wanted a choreographed dance for our first dance rather than risk just swaying back and forth on the floor. Priti gave us simple steps and a combination of moves that made for an impressive first dance. Our MC came to us after we finished and told us that he has seen many choreographed routines, but ours gave him goosebumps. We received compliments all night long and we cannot wait to see how it turns out on the video. As someone who is uncomfortable around strangers and more reserved, I was terrified to execute this routine; however, Priti was reassuring and because of her instruction and the sequence she put together, we were able to not only get through the dance, but also enjoy the dance. It was like second nature when we got started. I would highly recommend Priti and Sanwee Performing Arts for anyone looking for a great instructor with an incredible gift for choreographing dances.

One of the most memorable day of my life was made the best one with Priti's beautifully choreographed wedding dance. Not only did my husband and I loved to perform but even the journey of learning it was enjoyable and splendid!!! All thanks to Priti, she completely understood all my jitters of being a non-dancer. She made us so comfortable that not for a second we felt that we are new to this.
Her patience, perseverance, passion towards dancing and highly professional attitude was just perfect for making us feel at home. Simply put she is the BEST!!!

Working with Priti Gupta-Udeshi was such a refreshing experience! She recently choreographed a wedding dance sequence for the family wedding and was able to cater to dancers of various levels of expertise / style / comfort levels (both both in person and via video) with such ease and elan. Her dance move analogies are hilarious, relatable and so easy to remember. We had a fantastic sequence and practicing for the dance was one of the best memories my family has of the wedding. I am not a "dance-person" but my family wanted to make a memorable wedding function with the dance evening and they chose Saanwee. Initially I was scared and had a typical not-so-confident stride with heels on with the instructor. But having had the first session I wasn`t able to believe the feat I had achieved after my instructor had worked on how I could achieve each step with such ease and work to perfection!! She was able to bring the best out of me, my husband and my family members who were all part of show. I would strongly recommend Saanwee to not just all beginners but also to anyone who wants to learn Indian, Latin American, the instructor is simply fabulous and extremely knowledgeable because she is a physiotherapist too....
