Sabrina is a top-notch photographer and it was an honor to work with her and Lynn for our fall CT wedding! Aside from obvious talent and true professionalism, here are some other highlights: -Great eye for perfect backdrops and photo opportunities, best poses, and overall positioning of the couple/family in photos -Perfect balance of capturing both beautiful formal portraits and more relaxed/candid shots. Capturing plenty of photos of the couple, the guests, and the scenery/backdrop (not too much or too little of any one thing) -Preparation - she asked us to fill out a list of family and friends for formal portraits and referred to it during the wedding, making sure she got photos of us with every key family member -Being flexible and working with the time/situation she had, while clearly communicating the pros and cons of different decisions (i.e. how much time we gave for photos vs. other parts of the wedding) -Catering to the desires of both the bride and groom -A pleasure to communicate and work with on the business side: both fair and flexible in pricing and contracting terms -Produced a high volume of photos for each part of the event, meaning we had plenty of options to choose "favorites" from -Extra touches for the photos and overall package - she went the extra mile. Carefully chose the perfect photos to create black and white versions of, sent us a lovely box with our final photos and selections, and even included a sweet treat as a gift. You can tell she puts care and thought into every photo, this is not just a job for her, and her effort really shows! We got tons of compliments on the photos from both our wedding and our engagement shoot! I have very high standards and Sabrina not only met but surpassed our expectations. Highly recommend this excellent photographer!

Sabrina is second to none. She served as not only a top notch photographer, but a day of "time keeper," a "therapist," and a helpful hand. I can't say enough about how lucky we felt to have her as our photographer. Sabrina is incredibly talented, professional, and goes the extra mile to get the perfect shot. At one point she was perched on a bunch of rocks (braving the fierce wind) along the waterside! It ended up being one of our favorite photographs of the day! Sabrina is an absolute pro and such a pleasure to work with! From having to reschedule our event twice due to COVID, she was graceful, patient, and available throughout the whole process. She photographed our Wedding Reception in Newport and I couldn't be happier with the whole process. Communication is prompt, she was so much fun to work with for pictures and even helped us with how to pose, stand, and make us feel so relaxed and comfortable. She got amazing pictures of our family and the dancing and dinner as well! Everyone is so happy and I smile every time I look at the output. I'd work with her in a heartbeat!!! She cares so much and you can tell :)

Sabrina has an eye to capture the perfect and most memorable photos for your big day! She is extremely experienced and knows her venues very well in order to capture the most intimate photos. On our wedding day I was upset that it rained and snowed as I wanted photos outside as we were married on the water. Sabrina never skipped a beat capturing the MOST BEAUTIFUL photos of my husband and I. I also used her for our engagement shoot where she made it fun and relaxing. We hope to use her in the future when we bring our son up to RI for family trips.

Sabrina is so sweet and easy to work with. She has a keen eye for detail. We had a lot of challenging factors to work with in our wedding and Sabrina did such a great job capturing our day. We were crunched on time, sunny/ no cloud coverage for the first look, rain during our outdoor ceremony, and a large wedding party. She was able to capture it all! All of our photos came out amazing but she really does such an amazing job of capturing the emotion in her photos. Our ceremony photos are some of my favorites because I truly feel all the emotion I felt that day when I look at those photos. She is truly skilled at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone!

Sabrina is the absolute sweetest, most caring, and amazingly talented photographer I have ever met! I originally found her in a google search and loved her work on her website and then once my caterer said that she was their top pick I instantly booked! She was so accommodating with taking some quick shots for our save the dates in the freezing cold and then even more photos for an engagement session when the weather got nicer. On our wedding day, she made sure we got all the group photos we wanted with family and friends, as well as all my favorite sunset pics! Everyone was amazing that she stayed the entire time until the DJ said goodnight. We just got a sneak peek of the photos and I can’t wait to see the whole thing! Highly highly recommend!

Wow. I cannot say enough good things about Sabrina Scolari. We hired her to photograph our wedding on June 1st, 2019 and I don't think we could have chosen a better photographer. For starters, Sabrina has a great personality and is very easy to get along with. She is professional, yet laid back; it was easy to be comfortable around her which is very important if you want your pictures to look any sort of natural. Sabrina responded promptly to my inquiry for hire, and we soon set up a date to have an engagement shoot done. My fiance at the time and I had already been engaged for a year, but it was nice to have the shoot in order to meet Sabrina and get comfortable in front of the camera. She made a quick turn around time with our photographs which came out beautifully. We received a a small package in the mail with some prints, a thank you note, and a USB drive of our photos. It was carefully wrapped and detailed, and beautiful to open- I actually felt really special receiving it. It's the little things that really mean a lot. Sabrina coordinated with us leading up to the wedding to be sure she would capture all the shots we wanted of our big day. Flash forward to the wedding day- her and her assistant, Lynn, arrived at our agreed upon time and dressed professionally. I was happy to see her- almost like an old friend! Sabrina photographed myself and my ladies while her assistant worked with my husband and the boys. They were great about making the most of our time to maximize the number of photographs we could take. Once the ceremony started, they both worked together photographing from different angles. We received our album not even a month after our ceremony. Sabrina and Lynn did an AMAZING job of capturing everything. The portraits are beautiful but the candids are my favorite. They were able to freeze moments which showed the true spirit of the day- I could not be more pleased. Wedding days go by so fast- people tell you that, but until it happens, you don't believe them. When we first met Sabrina I felt like I could talk to her for hours plus she gave us an amazing dinner recommendation by her studio! Sabrina captured our engagement photos so well you would never know the nervousness that was behind those faces! At the wedding we had a second photographer (for the guys) and they guys loved and listened to her. Sabrina was with me for the entire day and night and captured all the details that I planned but would have missed during the busy day! We had quite the crew to wrangle all day given the St Patrick day celebration! At the end of the night when she checked to make sure I had gotten all the photos, I even requested a photo with her! Looking through my wedding photos a year later, I have such a tremedous appreciation for all the hard work that goes into her work day and the amazing quality and passion she displayed! Sabrina and Lynn were truly amazing!

Sabrina and her assistant were great to work with, they were not in our face all day and night but still captured such beautiful photos. They were right on time with the estimate of getting my photos back to me. The editing was perfect, the ideas of photos were great, and even when my husband denied taking pictures at night because he wanted to dance they were okay with it! Overall 5 stars, such great women to work with! and reasonable pricing.

My husband and I are so happy that we chose Sabrina to take photos of our (loooong) wedding day along with her second shooter Lynne. We knew Sabrina was the perfect photographer since our first meeting at her Rhode Island studio. It's so clear that she loves capturing the moments of a wedding, which proved true time and again, both at our Chinese tea ceremony and our traditional American wedding, as well as the "getting ready" time in between. The day was hot (95 degrees) and long (9am-11pm), and Sabrina and Lynne showed interest and energy for the entire time. They had the process of capturing the posed portraits down to a quick science, and they were ever-present capturing the fun moments for the rest of the day. Even before the wedding, Sabrina was awesome at our engagement shoot. She took amazing photos despite a rainy day, and then she even met with us another time to capture photos in the nice weather. We can't imagine having our wedding captured by anybody else. Do yourself a favor, and choose Sabrina to capture your best day ever!

Sabrina was AMAZING! Not only were her photographs gorgeous, her and Lynne were great to work with. My new husband and I couldn't be more thrilled with her work and would absolutely hire her again.

Choosing Sabrina to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. She was the first vendor we selected and came highly recommended by our venue. Sabrina has been amazing during the whole wedding planning process and we were even able to do a fun engagement shoot in Newport this summer, which came out perfect. Sabrina kept everything efficient and running smoothly on the wedding day and got all the great shots we wanted while keeping a fun, light atmosphere. We would totally recommend Sabrina Scolari Photography to any wedding couple. I examined a lot of demo work from many wedding photographers. Personally, I felt that looking at this work eventually got redundant. For a photographer, I would look for things like creative angles, lens skill and personal temperament. In the wedding industry you’ll meet many individuals who claim to be professionals just because they can buy a digital camera and know how to hit the shutter button. I got excited when I saw the creativity in Sabrina’s lens work when I paged through her demo albums. I could tell she had a good eye for making a standard shot seem creative. Her skill with the lens will elevate that shot to the next level. In addition to Sabrina’s skill, both my wife and I really jived with Sabrina’s temperament. She was grounded and down to Earth who had a calm demeanor and was not over pleasing; it felt natural and calming to be around Sabrina. Something that was really important to us, as we both knew a wedding day would be stressful. My wife said, “Sabrina was timely and knew what shots needed to be taken. She supported me before the ceremony while last minute crisis cropped up and everyone else was caught up in the whirlwind of the wedding day. She was exclusively on my side that day, which a bride needs.” Lynne, Sabrina’s partner, is also a consummate skilled professional. Lynne offers a different perspective of photo shooting that compliments with Sabrina’s style. She will be assigned to the “boys” and can handle them well. After our wedding we received so many compliments from our guests about our photographers. They blend so well into the event while capturing the perfect moments. We are so happy about the many natural and non-posed moments they captured for our viewing pleasure. They also treated our guests with great respect and captured many poses and fun moments.

We loved Sabrina & Lynne!! It decided to rain on our wedding day but this didn't stop our wonderful photographers in capturing the moment & love that filled the day. We had our dog part of the ceremony and they captured fantastic photos of him as well. We would recommend this photographer to all future brides and grooms. They stayed within our budget while capturing our memories. Our wedding photos turned out perfect even on a rainy/chilly day.

We hired Sabrina Scolari as our wedding photographer during the summer of 2014 after my wife had become instantly drawn to the work that was advertised on Sabrina’s website. We cannot recommend Sabrina highly enough and here is why. Sabrina was always on time, responsive to our needs, and was timely in processing our photos. She has also been tested. Imagine the challenges of having a photo shoot in Newport on a windy day. That is what we were up against on our wedding day. In spite of the windy conditions, Sabrina calmly worked with us so that my wife’s hair and dress were perfectly positioned in order to capture all of our most important memories from that day. We learned that anything can happen during the course of a wedding and so hiring the right photographer will be the most important decision that you make. We also really enjoyed working with Sabrina. We are confident that when you meet her for the first time, you will instantly pick up on her energy and come to find that she is a profoundly good person with a huge heart. My wife was drawn to her energy, while I was impressed with her background as a photography instructor. After I had learned that Sabrina volunteers her time as a photographer for Adoption Rhode Island, a nonprofit organization that seeks to find permanent homes for children who are under state care, there was no doubt in my mind that she was the right fit for us. If you are in need of a reliable, responsive, empathetic, and tested photographer, then we cannot recommend Sabrina highly enough for your photography needs because she has all of those qualities.

Sabrina did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding in April, in Austria.I still find myself staring at our wedding photos in awe. She is creative, talented, and professionalI. Sabrina came out early to take pictures of my "getting ready" the flowers, the tables, etc. & for one person, I have no idea how she was able to capture so many angles of our ceremony! Sabrina and Lynn were truly spectacular as our wedding photographers and I cannot overstate a recommendation for them! When we first met for our engagement session, I was worried because we are not usually stars in front of the camera and it felt awkward for us to smile and pose. Sabrina is, first of all, one of the nicest people but she all business in the best way possible. She was able to get us out of our shell and took some wonderful photos. At the wedding we had the second photographer (for the guys) and I'm told she went above and beyond- we are talking pinning boutonnieres, wrangling the ring bearers etc. The guys LOVED her. Sabrina was with me and did a fantastic job- she captured everything down to the flowers still in the boxes and tried her best to make sure it was all about me. Having just received the photos from the wedding I can't express enough my appreciation for their work- everyone has been just blown away by the pictures. So glad we went with them- so worth the price.

Sabrina and Lynne were amazing! They got everyone where they were supposed to be at the right time and we got all of our staged photos we wanted. During the party its like they weren't even there. Worth the money, Sabrina Scolari Photography is the perfect venue for your picture needs. Sabrina Scolari was an amazing photographer, not only on the night of my wedding, but my engagement pictures are absolutely beautiful as well. I was able to pick out a package, and although I did not want to purchase some of the items, she substituted other elements into the package for the ones I did not want. I thought that it was great that she was so flexible and helpful, both in terms of budget, schedule, and ful-fillment of my desires for my picutres. She is willing to put in the extra time and effort to snap-shot all of the memories that will forever define your marriage, staying past her contracted time on the night of the wedding and for a five hour engagement photo shoot. She is in-tuned with detail and I can not stress enough how impressed I am with the little elements and details that she captured, that I would probably have overlooked in years to come when showing off my wedding album. Thanks to her, I have all of the little details defined in picture and an adequete displaying of what a wonderful event I had! With 900 photos to choose from, I could hardly pick the ones I wanted to put in my album. I highly recomment Sabrina Scolari Photography to anyone whether looking for a wedding photographer, or someone to simply capture those details you would not have been able to at any event.

My husband and I had several issues finding the right photographer but once we met with Sabrina we didn't find the need to look any further! She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made herself available for questions at anytime despite the fact that her assistant did the actual photography for our wedding. He was wonderful as well. While staying professional he was able to have fun with the bridal party, putting everyone at ease (not an easy thing to do for the bride and groom on their wedding day!) Because of them we have hundreds of beautiful pictures to last us a life time. I would recommend their services in a heart beat.

I chose Scolari Photography as one of my vendors for my June 5th 2011 wedding and I am very happy with my photographs! Sabrina is extremely creative and pays close attention to detail. My husband and I wanted to mail Save the Date magnets to our guests and we used a fabulous picture from our engagement session. The portraits that we picked from our engagement session to be displayed at our wedding reception looked beautiful. Sabrina also gave us the option of having an engagement book that guests could sign at our wedding. I would definitely recommend doing that instead of a traditional sign in book.
