I never thought I would be the girl to gush over her own wedding but the Sacajawea made our weekend nothing short of perfect. All of our guests were from out of town and 3 months later, we are still hearing how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed their time. Arianna and all the staff were personable, accommodating, helpful and a pleasure to work with. We felt the pricing was very reasonable, the food was amazing, bartenders quick and never had a long line. It was the best weekend, all thanks to the team at the Sac. Arianna does an amazing job of running everything so smoothly and at ease, she was a pleasure to work with. I cannot express enough how much this place made our wedding everything we wanted and more. Best weekend EVER. We can't wait to continue to visit & reminisce - I wish we could do it all over again!!!
Top notch team. Arianna was great. She was professional and always responded to call and emails. Kept the wedding running smoothly. She kept checking in with us to make sure everything was going great. The food was fantastic. The staff was so nice and accominating. I highly recommend having your wedding at the Sacajawea Hotel. A dream come true.
Fall, winter, spring and summer wedding bliss.
I am over the moon about our decision to get married at the Sacajawea Hotel! We had a late September (2019) wedding, which was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard. This plan was thwarted by the earliest snow accumulation in 30 years! Thankfully the coordinator, Haylee, and the Sac staff were able to transform the lobby into our dream ceremony space (for 75 people!!). It was so unbelievably gorgeous and looking back I am extremely thankful to have been married in the lobby, with pictures to prove it.
This is just one instance where Haylee and the staff made our day special. The Sacajawea Hotel has so many amenities for weddings that are part of the wedding package that we selected (Haylee the coordinator, sweetheart cabin, Pompeii’s Grill food & drink, on premise lodging for guests, on-site bar for after party…) Speaking of Pompeii’s Grill, the selection of food that we chose was extremely good (I had seconds!) and the chef was able to accommodate some seriously complicated food allergies with ease. Our allergy-prone guests said that their separately-prepared food was delicious, and I had some food envy because it looked very good.
The reception tent was just gorgeous, too. The tent comes with simple and classic white linens, silver flatware, and the staff arranged the room to accommodate the guests and buffet (and dancing!). We were able to start the set up process the night before and the reception tent transformed into our perfect space. One thing – if there is a chance it may be cold, reserve a tent heater (it was 35 degrees in September). If it’s a warm day, the staff remove the walls of the tent for an open-air experience.
Everything about our wedding was made seamless and we are so happy to have chosen the Sac. I could go on and on… After the reception many of us moved down to the Sac Bar and continued well into the night. A live band played a second first dance for us, it was beyond special.
Finally, one of the most important things about selecting a venue for my husband and I was to choose a place that we could return at any time for a visit. The Sacajawea is not just a wonderful venue, but an operating hotel. We are planning on visiting again for an anniversary.
Communication was a little challenging and getting on the same page. The day of set up was stressful and we were behind due to tables not being ready. It was a bit of a challenge coordinating everything with Haylee, but the wedding was nice and the venue/food was good.
Most amazing place to get married! We had our ceremony on the back deck as the sun was beginning to set and had a wonderful dinner in the lobby, then later that evening retired to the bar below where the real party began! The staff was so accommodating, helping with set up as well as take down and worked hard to provide the best service when hiccup's occurred along the way. Pampas Grill offered amazing food with wonderful service while we enjoyed our toast's and traditional dances in the lobby. Later that evening we enjoyed all of our dancing and fun times in the bar below without disturbing the guests upstairs. Truly it was a night to remember.
The Sacajawea is a beautiful hotel and location. Dorothy the event cordinator can be a little had to get a hold of but she is very helpful.
