Weddings go by so fast and the weekend experience allowed us to celebrate with friends and family and enjoy our big day just a little bit longer. As a couple who didn’t want to have a traditional religious ceremony, but still found it very important to find a location that felt special and spiritual in its own way. Sacred Mountain delivered in spades. The ceremony site on the plateau was magical and felt truly special amongst the many venues we toured. Add to that the incredible accommodations on-site and a multitude of beautiful spaces to gather for all parts of the reception and this place really rounded out to be the full package. Marti and her staff were all wonderful and worked to make sure every detail was perfect for us on the day. From decor to refreshments, they thought of everything. We ended up having rain in the forecast and had to move last minute to tent our dinner on the patio of the Meadow House. The staff helped us every step of the way with the unexpected change and we ended up enjoying the beauty of the tented setup even more. The weather cleared just in time for our ceremony, with the sun peaking out as the bride made her way down the aisle. The beauty of this place cannot be overstated and we will surely return to celebrate future anniversaries now that we know it’s possible to stay on-site as a rental. Julian gave us everything we could have asked for in terms of a unique mini-destination wedding venue and we could not have been happier with the Sacred Mountain experience and everything this wonderful little mountain town had to offer.

When we did a walk through of the venue the month before, she was so patient letting us walk around to thoroughly look at all houses on the property. We had family and friends stay in the 5 houses on the property that were incredibly clean, well kept and everyone raved about how comfortable all the beds were! The day before our wedding the owner, Marti was there with staff helping set up to make sure everything was prepped for the wedding day. Day of our wedding, we couldn't have asked for better weather. Everything was set up so quickly by staffed and looked AMAZING. I could have not asked for a better wedding experiance. Thank you so much Marti, Michelle and Sacred Mount staff!

ugh to book a cancellation date and had a little less than 6 months to plan the wedding but the staff at Sacred Mountain made it so easy. They are extremely knowledgably, organized, helpful, and caring. The cost of the venue includes a ton of decor, use of 2 houses for getting ready, catering kitchen, golf cart transport day of, set up and breakdown of tables and chairs and more! If you're looking for a fairytale/romantic mountain wedding this is it!

er experiencing how beautiful it was, firsthand, we could not leave our tour without booking it. We got married there on August 28th, 2022, and it was the best day of our lives. The staff was so sweet, attentive, and accommodating to our every need. The views, oh man, the views! The meadow was the most beautiful backdrop to our "I do" ceremony. Our guests, to this day, will not stop talking about how beautiful everything was. If you are considering Sacred Mountain as your venue, I urge you to book a tour and see it for yourself. We are so grateful to have found such a beautiful venue for our big day!

le town feels like you've stepped back in time, and onto the set of an old western. There's adorable little shops/diners/cafes along Main St. that our guests enjoyed during their stay over our wedding weekend. Julian Pie Co. has the BEST apple pie most of us ever tasted.. we served it at our wedding and many guests went back for seconds throughout the weekend. The venue itself, is breathtaking. We loved that there are different areas to entertain, but all within the same property. We were married on July 8, 2022 at the Sunset Plateau (stunning backdrop for a ceremony), and then had our cocktail hour in the beautiful meadow and dinner just up the gorgeous staircase in the courtyard area. The flow was so nice, we loved that our guests were able to walk around and explore the grounds a bit. The venue has so much natural beauty, you really don't need to do anything to decorate if you don't want to. We added some flowers to the arch and a few on our tables, but that was it, and everything looked incredible. We enjoyed that we were able to choose our own vendors and really customize our day to our specific tastes. We served wood fired pizza and apple pie, which was really fun and not your typical "wedding food". My husband was also super sold on this venue when they told us that we could rent a horse to ride down the aisle on.. it made for an amazing entrance. We would highly recommend adding this unforgettable experience to your day; Jennifer at Integrity Stables (next door to the venue) was incredible to work with and her horse was soo sweet. We also chose Sacred Mountain Julian as our wedding venue because they allowed us to include our rescue dog in our ceremony. This was so important to us, and we wouldn't have felt right getting married without her there. Sacred Mountain Julian is a little pricey, but there are different packages you can choose from (we chose the small wedding package for 60 or less guests), and they really do include a LOT of things that you would otherwise need to rent. For example, they include: Ceremony chairs, tables for the cocktail hour and dinner, chairs, linens, benches, a couch, space heaters, the bar, dessert table, the ceremony arch, tables that you can use for the welcome table, seating chart, etc., some decor items (lanterns, candle holders, some signage), and more. One of my only complaints is that our contract stated that we could arrive on site at 12pm, and we negotiated to arrive an hour earlier, but I felt SO rushed trying to get everything unloaded before my hair and makeup started. Luckily I didn't have bridesmaids, so I was the only one needing to get my hair and makeup done.. but if you have a bridal party you'll need to get ready together off-site and then head there after everyone is ready OR you can rent the meadow house and/or honeymoon suite the night before, but it's very expensive. They do provide golf carts with drivers to get your guests from the sunset plateau down to the cocktail hour area, and the main guy who drove us all around, named Freedom, was SO nice. Thanks again Freedom! And I had excellent communication from Ashley and Summer in the office. Overall super beautiful venue and an unforgettable wedding day!

pleasure to work with, she was so kind and friendly from the second we met her, and she was so helpful as we planned our weekend. And she was there on the day itself to help make sure everything went smoothly. The entire staff was lovely and helped add extra joy to the whole experience. Marti, the owner, was so sweet and even drove my golf cart down to the first look. And when I accidentally forgot our rented cupcake stands, one of the staff members who lived in San Diego brought them back to San Diego for me and met me to hand them off. I had a few family members who get cold easily who were very concerned about what the weather might be like in early April. We ended up having the most gorgeous weekend with perfect weather, but Michelle helped us tentatively book a tent a few months out just in case (though we ended up cancelling it in the end) and assured us that with all the heaters and fire pits they have on hand, it would be lovely regardless and I don’t doubt that it would have been no matter how the weather had worked out. The staff were so supportive and so determined to help make it a wonderful time no matter what. We couldn’t have had a more perfect, joy filled day. It was absolutely a magical weekend, and all of our guests wholeheartedly agreed. The Sunset Plateau is the most beautiful place for a ceremony, and for stunning sunset photos. And we really loved having cocktail hour and dancing down in the meadow and dinner up in the courtyard. Having two close but separate areas meant that the dance floor was full all night, which was so fun. Also, part of the reason we chose the venue is that it is stunning exactly as it is, so you can add flowers and pretty rentals if you want, but even if you left it exactly as is and chose the most simple place settings, it’s still absolutely beautiful. We also chose the weekend package because we wanted to spend a weekend with our closest friends and family, and it was so beyond special. Each little group had their own space, as did we, but we were all together and will cherish the memories we made there for our whole lives. All the houses are stocked with everything you might need, and the accommodations are so nice and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful wedding, and couldn’t be more grateful we found Sacred Mountain.

We stayed the whole weekend with our family and everyone was just so happy with their accommodations. They were extra accommodating of my ailing grandmother making sure she had transport from one area to another. We are so happy with how our day went, we wish we could do it all over again! n the middle of a pandemic... Sacred Mountain is where you need to book. I live in Las Vegas, so planning a wedding in another state is hard enough. Kerry and her team at Sacred Mountain were absolutely wonderful to work with and were extremely helpful to make our special day perfect in the midst of this pandemic. Even though we couldn't have the wedding of our dreams, this team made sure we could have a wedding beyond our imagination! One thing I valued most is her constant and open communication. All of our vendors came from their preferred vendor list, and I could not have picked a better team for my wedding day. Everybody was so thoughtful, kept up with CDC's regulations to ensure a safe gathering, and went out of their way to make our guests feel like family. Each table was spaced apart appropriately, we used one-time use plates and cups to ensure the safety of everyone, and guests sat 6 ft. apart from one another. I am thankful we could practice safe social distancing while having a beautiful and full celebration! Of course, my favorite part, we were able to utilize the new honeymoon suite! I am so thankful to have gotten to get ready in that space with my girls and spend the night with my husband. The gifts were beyond beautiful and thoughtful. I wish I could live there!!!

Secondly, the staff at Sacred Mountain was the best and most professional staff I have ever worked with. They are responsive, go above and beyond with any request you have and are there to give their recommendations on what they think will work. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about every single staff member. They made the experience that much better because there was no stress. They helped with everything I needed. ifornia. Sacred Mountain was perfect! It's an absolutely beautiful property, gorgeous views, and really feels like you're in the mountains. We still get compliments from guests about how amazing the venue was! The staff is wonderful as well! They're very professional and accommodating, and were always available to answer questions. When the weather forecast for our May wedding predicted rain, they not only handled everything with activating the "rain plan", but checked in with me every day to make sure I was doing OK and reassure me everything would be fine. Luckily, day of, it didn't actually rain at all! We really appreciated the effort and flexibility of the staff when dealing with last-minute weather-related changes! We stayed at the property for the weekend and the houses are clean, comfortable and very well-equipped! It really was the wedding of our dreams, thank you Sacred Mountain team!

ings went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was beautiful since the weather was NOT what anyone expected in late May(rainy the whole week and day-of up until an hour before our ceremony). I was so upset about the forecasted rain in the days leading up, but it ultimately made the venue that much more beautiful and unique as the rain ceased and a dreamy mist/fog fell around the surrounding trees and mountains right before our ceremony. It wasn't what I dreamed our day would be like - it was better thanks to the Sacred Mountain Venue and their amazing team.

othing short of perfect and this venue made our dreams come true. We stayed here for three days and two nights and the cottages are clean and well stocked, so we had everything we needed there. Highly recommended and I wish we could do it all over again!

It is the most magical fairy like venue and my guests were flipping out about how gorgeous and magical it was. For example, tables, chairs, linens, decorations, the arch, and more are provided to you by the venue so you don’t have to go through other vendors. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue if you want your day to be perfect because if anyone can do it, it’s this venue.

e you looked was so beautiful! Amazing views everywhere! The greenery and open fields I mean really there are no words! We saw the venue once and pretty much immediately booked! The entire wedding process was so stress free I mean these people and the workers and staff know exactly what they are doing! When our wedding approached everything was perfect! Annie was so sweet and kind and such a help. The workers never got in our way and were so prompt with any issues or concerns that arised! We checked in the day before and the house was so beautiful with flowers in each of the rooms and the fire places lit! I still get goosebumps thinking about our day and our experience there. This place is stunning the photos are unreal! Speechless is the best way to describe this! For me my wedding day was the coldest day of the week and the windiest and arriving at the property took away all my anxiety and stress because nothing mattered it was that gorgeous! When you have scenery like that and views like that then no amount of bad weather can take away from it! Thank you to all the SM staff and Marti for making my day so magical! :)

e professionals who help take care of everything you can think of! As soon as we stepped foot on the property for our tour, we knew this was the place for us. Marty, the owner, was so kind and laidback. We didn’t feel like we were being upsold like at many of the other places we went to. She answered all of our questions, walked us through the process, and provided great ideas which so refreshing when you’re a new bride trying to figure out how to plan a wedding. The recommended vendor list is also top notch, each one truly vetted out for quality! We quickly booked the venue. After that, things only got better. The staff stayed in touch constantly and consistently, providing clear instructions on what to do. They even started offering new additions like golf cart options and complimentary decor options, which was so nice to not have to plan and worry about those small, logistical things. We stayed on the property for the weekend and the accommodations were high end and extremely tasteful. Our friends & family were blown away and we all wanted to stay another day (or two)! The day of our wedding was truly amazing. Sacred Mountain even had staff on site for the day-of to help shuttle people up to the ceremony site and a venue manager to help make sure things went along smoothly. Robyn, our venue manager, even helped drive us and photographer around the property for photos which was extremely helpful in getting our photos done quickly. Definitely the best day of our lives! We received nothing but great compliments from all of our guests, especially the venue :) Overall a wonderful experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Now, we just want a reason to go back to Sacred Mountain!

Across the three different buildings we had rented everyone had plenty of space in the serene and picturesque mountain landscape. The views from the residence is stunning with lots of natural wildlife and native trees and flowers surrounding you. The nights are so dark you can make out every constellation in the sky. The hot tubs and pools are a perfect way to end the day under the stars. We had our wedding on their summit plateau which gives views of the rolling foothills. Perfect for our sunset ceremony - even the wild turkeys were enjoying themselves. A gorgeous rustic elegance venue that matched our vision perfectly.

I can't wait to shoot there again, especially because I didn't get to shoot with the horses yet. Also, the staff that work there are so nice and hospitable. They keep that place looking spectacular and running smoothly. I would highly recommend this place for any couple wanting to create a beautiful mountaintop wedding.

s. Unlike other weddings where you get in and out in one day, we were able to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights. We were able to have the rehearsal dinner there on Friday then the ceremony and reception Saturday. We chose the Whole Mountain Package in order to utilize everything and we were able to sleep all of our immediate family there. All of the buildings are beautiful have showers, bathrooms, heating/AC, beds, and clean towels and robes. The main house is connected to a secret garden and there is a large pool and spa below which was great to hang out in. Another great thing is how customizable it is depending on your wedding size. You can have the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour in various locations. Aside from the location being great, the owner, coordinators we worked with, and staff were as well. They set up all of the tables and chairs the day of and shuttle people in golf carts up and down the hill. I'm very satisfied that we chose this location for our special day and all of our guests loved it too.

generous and responsive. The took care of everything we needed, and ALWAYS went above and beyond. Planning our wedding here was easy because of how efficient and responsive they are. Any request we had was taken care of and they spent time with us to make sure we had all of our needs met. In terms of the venue itself - this place is truly magical. I couldn't imagine another place to get married. Stunning, comfortable and clean. There was not a corner in this place that wasn't though of or taken care of. I brought my entire family from out of town and every single one of them had the best weekend. It was so comforting to know that my family was well taken care of. Marti, Ashley, Robin, Annie, everyone at this place is the best. I give them my highest and best recommendation.

When we were looking for a wedding venue, we wanted to find somewhere that our families could be able to spend time together, and Sacred Mountain checked all the boxes. Our families and other guests all raved about Sacred Mountain, and we were so happy we were able to have our wedding there. Be aware that there are a lot of rules and stipulations in the contract, so make sure to read and understand it. However, we found that with a little communication and planning ahead, there were no issues at all and Sacred Mountain was a perfect venue. We definitely recommend it (and recommend staying an extra day if you can).

I might add), then when I brought that to their attention, as well as other mistakes she had made very early on, including misquoting their off-season dates, including something in the contract she wasn't able to follow through on, and mixing up the dates I wanted, the owner asked me to not book our wedding with them, claiming that my asking questions about things like what the average weather/temperature is like up there in spring, and the condition of the roads/driving to and from their location for my guests, demonstrated I thought there were too many "issues" to hold my wedding there. Completely dismissive and in my opinion, simply did not want to deal with me - someone very detail-oriented and on top of everything, unlike their staff. I was never disrespectful or unprofessional - indeed I was simply trying to follow up with them on what they initially promised to us, only to be dismissed like a child. I have all the emails to prove how completely incompetent their staff is as well. Like I said, the view is NOT worth dealing with them - STAY AWAY!!

ve the best wedding ever. It just so happened that a freak snow storm passed through southern CA the weekend of our wedding and it rained all throughout our ceremony and reception. The storm moved in quickly and we had to put all of the contingency plans in place that week! Marti and her staff put in 110% effort to ensure that our guests will stay warm and dry and safe! Even though it was the most severe weather the venue had ever experienced, you would not have known it as a guest! Everyone still talks about how it was the best wedding ever and the most beautiful, despite the weather! And that is largely due to Sacred Mountain acting quickly and getting tents, heat lamps and everything else in place for all of guests! We also stayed there Thursday - Sunday, and it was the best decision ever to have a wedding weekend! All of our family loved staying on the property and being able to just relax and not have to worry about traveling to and from the venue! We cannot recommend Marti and Sacred Mountain enough. If you are looking at Sacred Mountain, know that you will be in good hands - no matter what happens!

to get approval for a larger event size, and went out of their way to do things that were out of the norm. Suffice it to say, they all went above and beyond. They also hired extra staff members to help us. They were wonderful! All of the staff we met and dealt with throughout our experience at the Sacred Mountain Retreat were helpful, courteous, and made the whole process fun! They were extremely responsive, generous, caring and a dream to work with.

and the owner herself jumped in to make my day the best and it truly was. The Sacred Mountain team is very detail oriented and cares for accommodation of your guests to the decor details at your reception. Not only was the wedding day magical but planning your wedding at Sacred Mountain was truly a sweet and memorable experience along the way! The pictures and memories made there with family and friends are truly one of a kind.
