I have absolutely nothing bad to say. The host were absolutely amazing and very helpful all throughout our stay. The venue was gorgeous, well kept, and everything I could have imagined and MORE! If you want the desert vibe this is a must. Beautiful views and beautiful venue. I loved that we were able to stay on the venue and there was an Airbnb close to keep family near by. The rooms themselves were perfect. The outside intimate area with showers bath and stargazing was the perfect after wedding vibe. Even if nothing else worked out the venue itself would have been enough to make my day special. Totally making a trip back. Thank you Keith and Kaylee we truly couldn’t have made this day perfect without you!!!!:)
I can't say enough good things about this venue. We just got married and the owners truly make this place so special. It is one of the most gorgeous places we've been too, all of our guest could not get over how beautiful it was. The owners were so helpful making sure everything went great. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Sacred Sands is a wedding venue that has been a renowned desert icon in Joshua Tree, CA, since 2007. This venue is perched like a golden beacon, high on a pristine hill and only 1 mile from the West entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Seen from the 10-acre property are captivating desert flora and fauna, joshua trees, boulder formations, and sweeping views of majestic mountains.

Sacred Sands can arrange in-person or virtual tours of our stunning venue! We boast an always-growing list of preferred vendors to help bring your wedding vision to life. We also provide an extensive preferred accommodations list to make it easier for guests to find more lodging.
Designed by architect Janet Armstrong, our boho-chic venue is a straw bale-constructed hacienda with all the bespoke textures of Joshua Tree. Ceremonies may be held outdoors in our ceremony circle with tranquil and protected views of Joshua Tree National Park and the Mojave Desert. When couples exchange vows, the sunset will West beyond the horizon as a picturesque backdrop. The circle is also perfect for stargazing. Local astronomers with telescopes can be hired to guide your guests through the stars as the night ensues. As the zen environment turns to night, the reception dinner can be held outside in our reception courtyard or in our indoor ballroom for parties of 45 or less. Beautiful string and patio lights illuminate all the outdoor spaces, coupled with colorful uplighting.
Our romantic ballroom features 2 cascading chandeliers and high ceilings, complete with customizable club lighting and the best 360 views of Joshua Tree. For lodging, we have a honeymoon suite, a hotel room, and 2 bedrooms. With the accommodations come refreshing outdoor showers and heated outdoor tubs. (We have 3 indoor showers as well). The Moroccan-inspired and artfully interior-designed rooms have retro record players. Book our STR below Sacred Sands that sleeps 4 with a 200 yard boulder field! Perfect for getting ready photos. Sacred Sands has indoor and outdoor projection screens and a 4K projector for couples to share photos/video with guests.
In addition to our ceremony circle, reception courtyard, and ballroom, we have a sunset cocktail hour patio with a chiminea and parking for 45 cars. With our proximity to Joshua Tree National Park, it's easy to take newlywed or first-look photos, or even have your ceremony or post-wedding brunch in JTNP. We can partner couples with local tour guides to incorporate activities in JTNP into the entire weekend. We also offer discounted rehearsal dinners and brunches.

I have nearly 20 years of professional event planning experience and it was a lifelong dream of mine to own and operate a venue. I discovered Sacred Sands thru planning my own Joshua Tree wedding. I toured many venues and saw ways I could improve them to the point I knew I had to acquire a venue of my own. Sacred Sands is a hallowed place I have venerated for many years and am so blessed to now call my own. I'm known for being able to work with anyone. I'm very detail oriented and production minded. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting your wedding or event!
