Sacred Sands has been a renowned desert icon in Joshua Tree, CA since 2007. This venue is perched like a golden beacon, high on a pristine hill and only 1 mile from the West entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Seen from the 5-acre property are captivating desert flora and fauna, joshua trees, boulder formations and sweeping views of majestic mountains. PROMOS: *$500 low season discount for events in Dec., Jan., Feb., July & Aug. *Micro-wedding brochures for Spring 2025 (Jan.-Aug.) for 39 guests or less guests are available at 30% less than our normal Spring pricing! *Local discounts offered to full time high desert dwellers! Designed by architect Janet Armstrong, our boho-chic venue is a straw bale constructed hacienda with all the bespoke textures of Joshua Tree. Ceremonies may be held outdoors in our ceremony circle with tranquil and protected views of the Mojave Desert and Joshua Tree Nt'l Park. When couples exchange vows, they can choose to have the sun setting beyond the horizon as a picturesque backdrop. The circle is also perfect for stargazing. Local astronomers with telescopes can be hired to journey your guests through the stars as the night ensues. As the zen environment turns to night, the reception dinner can be held outside in our reception courtyard or in our indoor ballroom for parties of 45 or less. Beautiful string and patio lights illuminate all the outdoor spaces coupled with colorful uplighting. Our romantic ballroom features 2 cascading chandeliers and high ceilings complete with customizable club lighting and the best 360 views of Joshua Tree. For lodging we have a honeymoon suite, hotel room and 2 bedrooms. With the accommodations come refreshing outdoor showers and heated outdoor tubs so guests can bathe al fresco. (We have 3 indoor showers as well). The Moroccan inspired and artfully interior designed rooms have retro record players. Sacred Sands has indoor and outdoor projection screens and a 4K projector for couples to share stills/video with guests. In addition to our ceremony circle, reception courtyard and ballroom, we have a sunset cocktail hour patio with a chiminea and parking for 45 cars. With our proximity to Joshua Tree Nt'l Park, it's easy to take newlywed or first-look photos in the park, or even have your wedding ceremony or post-wedding brunch in JTNP. We can partner couples with local tour guides to incorporate activities in JTNP into the entire weekend. We also offer discounted rehearsal dinners. Sacred Sands can arrange in person or virtual tours of our stunning venue! We boast an always growing list of preferred vendors to help bring your wedding vision to life. If you want to get married in Joshua Tree, you absolutely have to do it here. Don’t even bother touring other venues. The property itself is so amazingly beautiful that you won’t even want to spend any money on additional decor! The property is laid out so perfectly for a wedding! Every single one of my guests was in awe of the location and the stunning views. The owners are so amazing. They are friendly and helpful and have excellent communication! There isn’t a single question they won’t answer for you. By the end of it, you’ll leave feeling like they’re your best friends. I literally can’t rave about Sacred Sands enough. It is worth every penny and then some! I am a happy bride!

We traveled out to Joshua Tree to look at venues and visited Sacred Sands as our last stop - we immediately knew this was where we wanted to get married! The property sits on top of a hill and has beautiful views of the landscape, and every detail of the site is gorgeously thought out and very serene. With the proximity to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance we were able to take the time to have our first look photos in the park before our ceremony. There are two suites on site that make perfect side by side rooms for each side of the wedding party to get ready, a beautiful and intimate ceremony circle, a large courtyard with a view for a stunning sunset dinner, and the indoor ballroom is perfect for your dance party. Working with the owners Kaylee and Keith was always wonderful, they had great recommendations and were easy to communicate with at all times. Our wedding was an absolute dream and I am so pleased that we were able to host our wedding celebration here.

Honestly, planning the wedding from over 100 miles away, we were basing our choices on photos. Sacred sands was in the top 3 venues to host our intimate Indian wedding. Upon visiting all of the sites, we were so pleased when pulled up to the venue. Keith met us and showed us around, the ceremony site has the perfect backdrop for the most gorgeous and scenic photos. Our ceremony photos were spectacular and no other venue could give us the same mountain range with a winter sunset like Sacred Sands did. During the planning process Kaylee assisted with all questions we had, with the utmost patience and understanding. Both Keith and Kaylee understand that they are playing a part in the planning of your special day and they keep to their word of everything they say they can do. Working in the hospitality industry, I understand how many last minute incidents can occur and like any other special event, we had an incident occur and they were able to rectify it and even make it look better than it had originally was supposed to look. The reception site didn’t need much decor as the natural beauty was so well preserved and they already have string lights above in the courtyard. We had our parents and our day of coordinator stay on property in the bedrooms. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was so impressed by the rooms and the patios, that they were jealous they couldn’t stay there. The beds were so comfortable, there was more than enough room for my mom to have her grandchildren nap with her. The day after, when we were checking out, we were not rushed, we weren’t hurried out. Keith was there to assist us in loading up and making sure that all looked good. All in all, everything turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. We are so grateful that we were able to have sacred sands as our site to start our journey as Husbands.

We got married here in 2021 and it was absolutely stunning. My family still talk about how amazing the venue was and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The venue owners are very nice and have great vendor suggestions. This venue is located about a mile away from Joshua Tree National Park and is beautifully decorated.

I worked at this venue recently and was blown away at how beautiful it was. The views around sunset are stunning and the grounds are very well kept. This place is a hidden gem and is set up perfectly for weddings. I would highly recommend this venue!

I toured many venues and saw ways I could improve them to the point I knew I had to acquire a venue of my own.
