dle Woods Farm several years ago. A beautiful landscape that delivers a quiet, peaceful calm, while at the same time, provides the elegance one seeks for this special event. So, when my husband's son and bride to be decided SWF was their preference, we were delighted. Of course, we were at the beginning of Covid and there were many challenges to consider. This included, canceling the wedding 5 days prior to November wedding date due to groom getting Covid. As painful as this decision was to make, the team at SWF came through with options, support and a determination to work through any challenge we faced. Thank God we hired Morgan (Day of Coordinator). Her skills and feisty attitude to "get things done" will never be forgotten! She is a true FIXER! Thank you Morgan! If you are looking for a stress free, magical venue to express your love with family and friends, you will not be disappointed here. Jayne, Morgan and family were amazing!

ged, I had not wanted a wedding, nor had I spent a single moment envisioning any part of it like most girls do. We truly went into this process without any ideas or any Pinterest boards lol. It was not until I saw an Instagram post of Saddle Woods (aka Morgan LeGate’s) most recent wedding at the time that my eyes lit up, and I suddenly knew EXACTLY what I wanted and didn’t need to look any further. We immediately contacted Morgan and a few days later I was touring the property, falling more and more in love with the vision of this wedding I had seen. That is until I was made aware of one tiny little problem- this particular wedding I was wanting had been a celebrity wedding (I later found it featured on the cover of several magazines), and not only was it outside our budget (FYI we were paying for this wedding ourselves), but likely cost more than our house and vehicles combined 😊….. It was almost over right then and there LOL. The self pitying was just about to ensue when Morgan said, “Don’t freak out! I promise I can give you a comparable version of that wedding for a quarter of the budget.” I had no idea how she thought she could possibly do that, and I was honestly doubtful. Nonetheless, I decided to trust her, and boy did she follow through on that promise. For those considering Morgan as their planner, the best way I can describe her in this setting is as a young, beautiful, modern-day fairy godmother. I wish I was exaggerating when I say I about fell to the floor when I walked into the barn the morning of the wedding and saw what Morgan had done. With a wave of her magic wand (which I’m convinced she has), she somehow took our budget and created an epic fairytale wedding. It was breathtaking, far more than what I had hoped for, and hard to believe it was OUR wedding. And that was only the beginning, as that day went on to be the best of our lives. Not only Morgan, but her family as well genuinely went above and beyond to make this day a dream come true for us. When I say “above and beyond” I mean everything from dealing with vendors to making sure we were fed to getting me in/out of my dress to ACTUAL baby whispering (aka controlling our 2 and 3 year old Tasmanian devil ring bearers). They made sure every aspect was nothing short of perfect, and the raving from all our guests only echoed the butterflies I was feeling the entire night. So, to wrap this up , I’ve written all this to try and convey how outstanding this venue and its owners are, but more than anything I want everyone to understand how amazing Morgan LeGate is. She is so much more than just a bad a** wedding planner. She was everything I needed throughout every single moment. She was my stylist, my therapist, my bridesmaids’ therapist LOL, my lawyer, my shoulder to cry on/friend to laugh with- you name the shoes, she wore them. I had no idea the extent of a blessing I was getting when I chose her and Saddle Woods. As I said in the beginning, it’s hard to put the expert quality of their craft into words, but I hope I’ve painted a close enough picture.

e cocktail hour space. The reception was held inside the barn and it was exactly how we wanted. Morgan is SO good at her job. She took the time to understand what I wanted from the day and made sure everything happened smoothly. We hired her as our day-of-coordinator, but she completely went over and above. I HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married in the area!

sy to work with throughout the wedding planning process. I chose to hire Morgan as our day of coordinator and she was 1000% worth every penny! Having someone who knows the property, the buildings, has worked tons of weddings there, etc. had invaluable information that made our day run so smoothly. I received lots of compliments on how beautiful our day was and a lot of those were related to the venue. I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else!

ill not disappoint even during these trying COVID times; we didn't have to worry about a thing. Morgan and her team took care of all the details by working with the caterer, DJ and photographer. They took all the worry away from the bride and ensured everything would be smooth and flawless, which it couldn't have been more perfect. I cannot say enough about this venue, décor, ambiance and team! Thank you for making my dear friends wedding so perfect!

needed little decorating. The beauty of the barn and its surrounding areas makes for fantastic wedding photos (especially their horses!). We got a sneak peak at some of them and I am absolutely blown away. Jayne and Morgan, as well as the rest of their staff, know exactly how to make a wedding run smoothly and were extremely helpful through the whole process. The bridal suite was perfect to hang with my girls and get ready. We are so happy we got married there. I can’t say enough about the Saddle Woods Farm staff for helping to make the best day of our lives.

nd the reception. The venue hall was stunning with plenty of room for a ceremony, a cocktail hour, a dinner, and dancing at the reception. All areas of the hall were partitioned to allow separate spaces for each part of the evening. The chandeliers and rustic walls of the hall made for a beautiful effect. The bridal cottage (complete with kitchen and full bathroom) and groomsmen area (complete with full bathroom, TVs, and games) exceeded expectations and allowed our wedding party a place to relax, eat, visit, and prepare for the evening. There was plenty of parking for our guests when they arrived. The venue owners who knew the area well let our guests know when to contact an Uber for pickup from the venue. When it was time to flip the room from ceremony to dinner, our wedding planner said the owners were able to look at the design plan and knew exactly where to place tables and chairs with the appropriate space between and around. This knowledge was extremely helpful, and the flip happened faster than expected. Unfortunately there was some overstepping and presumption with the venue staff. Some arbitrary changes to the wedding ceremony playlist were discussed with our DJ without consulting our wedding planner or the bride causing our planner and DJ some confusion. Our wedding party was directed by the venue staff to take their places at the wrong time, but once in place, our planner who was with the bride had no recourse but to adapt. Our soloist was given the cue by the venue staff to begin his solo at the wrong time, but once again, there was nothing our planner could do at that time. Our caterer was confronted by venue staff about serving speed and refills without consulting our planner only to find that all was running smoothly. Some of our vendors had questions about the property in the weeks leading up to the wedding, but phone calls and texts went unanswered by the staff. The rental fee for the venue was extremely competitive for the Nashville area, and the photo opportunities on the property regardless of season were endless. The hall offered a large prep area for our caterer to use. Despite some annoyances and assumptions made by the venue owners of our well planned timeline and overall intention, our day was lovely and special and memorable.

ial. The drive up to the barn is easily accessible, the grounds are beautiful, the inside of the barn has HVAC so not matter what time of the year the venue is perfect. The barn also has large doors that open on the side so you can have the feel of an outdoor venue if you don't want to use their outdoor space. I would recommend this venue a thousand times over.

and the bridal party at such a distance. Jayne and Morgan quickly eliminated those concerns. From the initial contact, throughout the entire planning process and throughout the wedding day, they and their team provided a friendly, helpful and professional experience. They were very knowledgeable and experienced, and communicated well to keep things flowing. They were intentional about giving our family and guests a great experience. The venue is stunning and the horses are quite the lovely bonus. The beautiful location in the country is a convenient distance to hotels, restaurants and shopping. They far surpassed our expectations and we had a relaxed, fun and lovely wedding weekend as they aimed to take all stress away. I highly recommend!

The owners Jayne, Gary, & their daughter Morgan, were hands on from the beginning, and made it feel like we were getting married on our family's property. There's not enough kind things we could say about them, or their venue. If you are looking to get married in Nashville, it would be a waste of time to look elsewhere. e thought!! The other venue canceled on us about 80 days out...no bride wants to hear this phone call! I called Jayne with Saddle Woods and she was a true life saver! She initially had a block on that weekend so that she could have a break from work and she gladly open the weekend up for us! The experience with Saddle Woods was beyond words! Such an amazing venue, great staff, and so accommodating! When I pulled into the venue on my wedding day my stress was lifted! It’s such a relaxing place to be and they make you feel like you are a princess! The bride and groom quarters are also a huge plus! Big space and great for getting ready, pictures, and a little champagne! I recommend Saddle Woods Farm Venue 100%!!! Thanks Jayne and Morgan! You guys made it the best day ever!

e before having the other pieces in place, and a lot of Nashville is full service which my mom and mother-in-law would have had me choose, but what I loved the most about SWF was the ability to make it completely our own. We've watched the social media evolve time and again from ballroom barn vibes to our very own rustic campy chic, and it's just a wonderful space that completely transforms on its beautiful backdrop. Not to mention Jayne and Morgan are awesome and let us steal some shots with their beautiful horses which, as a true horse girl with a bridesmaid group full of equestrian teammates, was an actual fairy tale dream come true. If you, like me, want to completely knock people off their feet, take a drive down the beautiful pasture adjacent white picket fences and through the overbrush to uncover the most magnificent barn with knockout chandeliers and the cutest little ceremony nook for your getting married outside dreams, and then envision all the ways you can make it your own and voila, you've found your own slice of heaven on earth to get married!

. The Barn is beautiful and accommodates a lot of people! We had 375 guests and it was perfect! Our bridal party loved the cottage and groomsmen suite. We all got ready in the two suites and had plenty of room. And both places make for great pictures!! The reception itself was a dream. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend Saddle Wood Farms to anyone!

Jayne and Morgan worked with us to create a vision of “simple elegance”. The bridal cottage and grooms quarters were spacious and a great place to relax and enjoy the day. The bride and groom were married outside at a sweet altar surrounded by woods. The barn was no less than breathtaking! Three large chandeliers down the center, the lighting and draping was stunning; it was a fairytale come true for the bride and groom. Our day was perfect!

I only had about 10 people in the cottage and still had plenty of space to get ready, eat, move around, watch the games, play pool, and even room for me to sit by myself and write my vows down and make sure they were perfect without being intrupted much at all. The venue was just amazing Jane was there for the whole thing making sure everyone was going where we needed to including the guests with parking and even myself and my bride with her golf cart to make sure we weren’t tyiring out walking around the extremely spacious venue grounds. Miss Jane you were absolutely amazing and I never imagined my wedding to be what it was! It was everything and more. It was more than perfect!

to our indoor backup plan before we even knew what was going on. If you book this venue, MAKE SURE you book Morgan as a day or coordinator!! She was there from start to finish doing everything bringing me water, reminding me to eat (yes it happens), touching up my lipstick, and even pulling me aside and giving me a couple quiet minutes with my MOH before I walked down the aisle to calm my nerves. She was defusing fires before they were able to start. There was a bridesmaid suite and groomsmen quarters that helped with the getting ready process. Having everything in one spot was super convenient. Saddle Woods is truly a blank canvas and can be made into anyone’s dream wedding. From the lighting to the drapes it was a dream come true. Thank you Morgan and Jayne!! 💗

my eyes. And it was perfect! The venue feels like a country wedding but incredibly elegant! There are two suits for the bride and groom to get ready. The Altar is surrounded by woods and feels very private. The barn where we had the reception was temperature controlled which was a huge factor in choosing a venue. There are many great spots for beautiful pictures! This is a very well run operation. The owners are very hands on and their main goal is to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible.

d open barn and outdoor seating area (if you want an outdoor wedding, you get that option) are blank slates where you get to use your imagination and design the perfect wedding depending on each individual's style. Jayne was so sweet and easy to work with, too!

Jayne and her team have been intentional with every decision from the bridal cottage to the grooms quarters, both of which are a perfect setting to relax and get ready on your wedding day. for an elegant barn look - don't forget to add draping to bring in that extra special touch. And they have just installed air conditioning which is fantastic for this hot and humid southern weather! I could not have been more pleased with how our wedding turned out - it truly was a fairy tale!!
