Russ took the few things that we requested and threw an awesome playlist at us. Every one of our guests loved the music and he got all of our guests out on the dance floor! Very polite and professional.

Russ did a great job. We had a meeting before the wedding to go over any questions I had and we went over the detailed sheet he had us fill out. I'm a pretty laid back person so I was glad that he was as well - there didn't have to be a strict format to everything. He showed up on the rehearsal day to make sure everything was already set up which was extremely helpful and then he was prompt on the day of the wedding. He kept us on a schedule during the reception which was extremely helpful as I've never done this before, hah! He has a great selection of music and kept everyone dancing throughout the night. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great DJ for their event!

Russ with Safari Sound is professional, polite, and overall a rockstar! I think what some engaged couples don't understand with a DJ is that a good MC is better than someone who just plays good music. Russ is amazing at both! He keeps the event organized, on time, and fun. He plays a good mix of music for all ages to keep everyone on the dance floor! I couldn't imagine a better DJ for our wedding!

Safari Sound did a great job and the price couldn't be beat. They don' t Take song recommendations into account as much as some DJ's might BUT they were on time, Kept the party going, took requests, and everyone had an amazing time!

Safari Sound was awesome. They sent us information to fill out before and we attached a sheet of songs we would like to get played if had time. Some where oldies and all different types of music, I think all got played through the night and we noticed and appreciated it. The dj did a wonderful job playing music for our guests and all ages where dancing. People keep telling me what a wonderful job our dj did. If your looking for a great time, they are professionals who have been doing this for years and they know what they are doing. Hire them!

They did exaclty what we asked and followed our requests of what to play and what not to play and the dance floor stayed packed!

Our DJ from Safari Sound was great. He did all the announcements and requests that we asked for. Good price for service.

Reasonably priced. Did everything I requested to be done. Was very easy to work with. The only complaint I had was that he was difficult to hear when making announcements and guest sometimes missed things like the cake cutting because they couldn't hear. Otherwise great DJ

Our DJ was well dressed and very professional. He showed up and was set up on time. He had a list of all the music we wanted played for certain events during the evening and even brought up some that I hadn't thought of prior. Only problem was I had emailed the owner many examples of songs and artists that I wanted played during cocktail hour and for dancing and it seemed to land on deaf ears. Cocktail hour was filled with country songs from the 1980's instead of the classic love songs from Sinatra and Nat King Cole as I had requested. However, when the dancing came around, he DID seem attentive to the crowd and played more songs that were similar to what had the crowd up dancing.

Russ of Safari Sound is very good at reading a crowd and playing music to fit the guests. He begins the evening with oldies and more crowd-pleasing music and as the night winds down, changes the style to reflect those on the dance floor. Only issue: he missed one of my bridesmaids/groomsmen and mispronounced their names when announcing us into our reception (despite having a detailed and ordered list with phonetic pronunciation)...small detail but one that bothered me!
