I have to give a massive shoutout to Cortney, who was the absolute best person to communicate with throughout the entire process. Cortney is quick, efficient, personable, professional, kind, and the best person to help you with all of your details and decisions. We also had the privilege of working with Dana day of and she was a rockstar just like Cortney - she was so attentive to us, our guests, and each detail of our food/drinks that she executed throughout the event!
THE FOOD. I cannot say enough about the food!! We had so much fun personalizing our menu from cocktail hour all the way through to a late night snack and Sage was more than happy to help us accomplish our dreams. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the food was and how quick the service was, too! We had people even asking for boxes at one point to not leave a single item behind. Easily some of the most delicious food I have ever had in my life. We had passed hors d'oeuvres, a french fry bar and a charcuterie station during cocktail hour, a beautiful plated dinner, and then late night snack of cheesesteaks + italian hoagies! Everything was beautifully displayed, perfect temperatures, nice and quick, and just phenomenally delicious. I will think about this food forever.
A nice perk that Sage has is the ability to have a tasting prior to officially booking - that experience alone helped our decision be a no brainer when booking them. The tasting was so fun and already so personalized to us and you could just tell from the jump how much they care about you and want to help with making your day so special and exactly what you envision it to be.
Overall, please use Sage. They are the best and for good reason - and I could not possibly recommend them enough for your wedding. We are so eternally grateful for their attentiveness and service for ours- something we will cherish forever.

The food at our wedding was just as good as it was at our tasting (which you wouldn't know until the day of - cooking for 2-5 people vs. >100 is a big difference!); we received many compliments regarding how good the food was. Presentation was great as well. It was also special to have someone from their staff pay extra attention to myself, my husband, and our parents; they made sure we actually got to enjoy the cocktail hour food, beverages, dinner, and dessert, even though we were so busy and having fun!

r with our hunt for caterers. We interviewed / tasted at multiple vendors and landed on Sage because of their food, professionalism, logistics, and Amanda who we vibed so well with. Amanda and Sage were so flexible - after our tasting, we asked for different sauces, combinations, and serving styles that weren't on their menu. Every time we had a request, Amanda immediately said "yes" and figured it out perfectly.
In addition to the food, Sage provided us with excellent staff, bartenders, and logistics. We had a very specific vision for our wedding and we didn't have to worry about a thing on wedding day related to catering. Every staff member we interacted with was the perfect combination of delightful, fun, professional, and competent.
While we loved all the food, the standouts were the mushroom tart, crab cake, lamb chop, short ribs, and butternut squash ravioli. In addition, Sage sourced Federal Donuts, Weckerly's ice cream sandwiches, and late night Philly Cheesesteaks, all of which our guests can't stop raving about. We got so many compliments from our guests about the food and I couldn't recommend Sage enough!

Every time we told any vendor or industry professional we were working with Sage, we got the same reaction “omg they are the best!” The food was absolutely delicious. Cortney walked us through every detail of planning, helped us create a personalized family-style menu, and guided us through picking linens and rentals. She answered our many, many emails within minutes, and was a calm and knowledgeable presence throughout our planning process. On our wedding day, Cortney was on top of every little detail and made sure we got enough to eat and drink, including putting aside ice cream sandwiches for us and making sure we got them as we were running to catch our wedding shuttle! Sage knows the ins and outs of the Bok building in particular, but we can't recommend them enough for any venue, anywhere!

Susie helped us to pick out everything from all aspects of our menu, to the chairs, linens, utensils, bar menu, etc. It made choosing a venue that was not 'all inclusive' in this way so much less overwhelming to have Sage as our main POC with planning the bulk of things. I never felt like I wasn't in good hands.
And let me tell you - THE FOOD. The compliments we got on our wedding day never ended. And we weren't at all surprised, even our tasting prior to the wedding knocked our socks off.
If I had to do it again, this would be the top MUST vendor on my list to make wedding planning easy, and execution flawless. Even outside of a wedding, I know Sage would be capable of handling any event beautifully.

The food was absolutely delicious! Every guest raved about how amazing everything was. Living on Long Island New York food is expected to be over the top at weddings and Sage far surpassed all the guests expectations. The crab cakes were amazing, lobster roll was delicious, pizza and pasta station was incredible, tacos were full of flavor, but I think the most raved about dish was the short ribs!
Cortney went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Not only is she super friendly but she made the day completely seamless. Leading up to the day she worked with us to make our vision come true. She helped us create our own personal wedding menu including things that weren’t even on the list of items. I would recommend Cortney 100%!

g. Our email chain probably has over 100 emails, and she was patient and responsive for each little detail. I'd send an email at midnight asking, "do you have a slushee machine?" and by the next morning she'd respond to me with options. Anything we could have imagined Susie was able to deliver. She was is the sweetest, most hardworking woman who we were so lucky to be paired with.
The staff & servers were so professional and wonderful during our ceremony. Our guests were absolutely raving about the food & drinks, and we never ran out of anything. Our biggest regret, of course, is not eating more (although, we had scheduled 2 tastings during planning which we are so happy we did!!).
If you want your guests to remember the food, use Sage. Their menu and options are unreal, and they are so accommodating. We were so confident throughout planning that we made the best choice in choosing Sage. I couldn't have imagined going forward with anyone else.

She made sure we had each passed hors d'oeuvre during cocktail hour and truly never let us have an empty drink in hand. The service for our guests was also phenomenal- all servers were timely, efficient, professional, attentive, and our guests were raving about how well taken care of they were. ied on Sage to be that special guide throughout our wedding planning process. Courtney was our coordinator, and she was just spectacular! I want to rave about so many things I don't know where to start! I think the most important thing to say is that we got SO many compliments on our food! We had our tasting and the food was fabulous, so we were really excited about that - but its not uncommon for the tasting to be great and the food on the actual day to fall flat. We did NOT have that experience, the food was 10/10! Cortney was present at the tasting and was able to give us insight on some ways to customize our menu, for example, we could choose as many passed hors d'oeuvre as we'd like, the total quantity would just stay the same! The month before our wedding, we were able to do our planning meeting in person at Cairnwood, so we could walk through the estate and decide which layout fit best for us! Also, Cortney and the Sage team were super accommodating for any unique requests we had, for example, our signature cocktail had lavender in it and Sage was able to source edible sprigs to garnish the drinks with. Another was that we wanted a champagne tower and Cortney was able to go off of an inspiration picture I had and set it all up! I felt super cared for the whole day and it was lovely to just be able to relax and enjoy the experience! I seriously think we got our full money's worth by hiring Sage Catering.

Cortney was our wedding coordinator and she was sooo helpful with everything and was with us every step of the way, answering our many questions and providing us a timeline for the wedding. Throughout our reception, the catering staff made sure my husband and I received our appetizers because we were running around, and made sure we stayed hydrated! Our guests raved about the food and also complimented the bartenders. The whole day flew by so fast but it went perfectly because of Cortney and her team. At the end of the night too they cleaned everything up so the venue was spotless and we didn't have to worry about anything. 100000% recommend Sage Catering for your wedding or any event!!

she was so communicative, flexible, knowledgeable, and supportive. I cannot even count how many emails I sent Amanda over the year of planning my wedding (it was a lot), and each time she quickly responded with an answer to my question or with the change I requested. I wanted to do a watermelon margarita as my signature drink, and when I assumed we would need to use store-bought watermelon juice, Amanda told me Sage could make the watermelon juice in house with I loved (the drinks were DELICIOUS). My husband and I customized several items on the menu, which was a lot of fun and made our wedding feel more personal. Sage set up our venue, and I was honestly worried about someone else getting all of the details right, but they completely nailed our vision. The food was GREAT and presented so beautifully. Our guests really loved the sushi and the espresso martinis. Sage also was a huge help at the end of the night, which allowed my husband and I to relax and go straight to our after party. I cannot recommend Sage enough. Our wedding day would not have been nearly as amazing as it was without them! You will not regret hiring them!!!

Sage are truly amazing and not as easy to come by. Cortney provided us with a complimentary tasting that was delicious. She was flexible when I wanted to change or upgrade things and then walk back upgrades etc. Throughout the planning process I felt at ease. The day of the wedding we had our own server that brought us drinks and a tray of appetizers immediately after the ceremony. Thank goodness for this bc we ate the entire tray before we went to cocktail hour and then never really ate again! Cortney also tackled the major task of a Pittsburgh cookie table.. for those of you who don’t know this is no easy task to handle. It would be a mistake to book with any other caterer.
