Sage was EVERYTHING. We rented the venue for the entire weekend of our wedding and Corinne and her staff made sure there was nothing forgotten, everything was to our specifications, and the entire weekend went off without a hitch (and if there was a hitch, I didn't know about it!). Sage managed to make sure all of my needs were met, as well as those of the wedding party, were met without being a helicopter host (which is not an easy line to balance). Unfortunately I won't be having any more weddings but if I were, I would do it at Sage again without hesitation. What we got for the price was beyond compare, and the venue owner, Corinne, will always hold a special place in my heart for creating an unforgettable day.

Sage Cottage was absolutely beautiful for my wedding day and was unforgettable. We stayed for 2 nights and the rooms were pristine, the food was delicious and the scenery was peaceful and beautiful. Corinne made my wedding morning the most relaxing day and handled everything, from flower delivery to tables/chairs/linens and everything in between. I'm so grateful for all the work she did for this day to be one I'll never forget. You will not regret choosing Sage Cottage as your wedding venue.

Just an hour from both Atlanta and Chattanooga and a 10-minute drive off I-75, the venue is easily accessible for guests traveling from near or far. Couples can host their rehearsal dinner and wedding celebration in one location while enjoying a retreat-style atmosphere that allows family and friends to gather and stay together throughout the weekend. Popular spring and fall dates often book 12 to 18 months in advance. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful, and the venue itself is gorgeous. We are grateful for many special memories from the weekend and appreciate the effort that went into making the...

day happen. However, there was a lack of follow-through on already agreed upon expectations discussed during our final meeting. The most significant issue was the reception setup, where we were told there would be two bars (one inside and one outside), but only one was available. This impacted guest flow and created unnecessary congestion throughout the evening. We also experienced issues such as unexpected tours taking place in the cottage while we were getting ready, along with several details like florals and food not fully aligning with what had been discussed ahead of time. For future couples, I would recommend clearly confirming key details in writing and following up before the wedding day to ensure all agreed upon plans are executed as expected. Overall, we had a beautiful wedding and are thankful for the memories made, but the lack of follow-through on confirmed details prevented our experience from being a full 5 stars.

nd upon research of venues not local to us vs the local venues, I had my heart set on this place! Our experience has been overall fantastic since the very beginning! Corinne never made it feel like she was trying to “pitch” or sell you on anything like other venues often do. She always saw our vision and was very responsive with any questions we had. Corinne is SO welcoming and we received so many compliments on her hospitality and she really makes everyone feel seen! The property is beautiful and all of the suites in the cottage are stunning! The night of our wedding we stayed in the Sage Suite and it felt so luxurious! From the cozy king bed, the bathroom that is to die for, and breakfast in the back patio! We’d recommend this place a thousand times!! I’m so glad it’s also a B&B so we can come back for special occasions! If you’re looking for your perfect venue, book here!!! You won’t regret it!!

My wife and I cannot express how much we loved the Sage Cottage for so many reasons. The venue owners were extremely accommodating of our needs even when we sent them late requests...

. They also took the time to discuss with us every little detail that made our day special to us. I would suggest checking out this venue before making arrangements anywhere else so you don't miss out on a truly exceptional wedding spot.

menu for my family and friends and everything was delicious. We held the dinner in their indoor space and it was nice and cozy. There is also a huge outdoor patio that would be very accommodating for a dinner or wedding reception. There is a beautiful space for a wedding ceremony and enough space for the bride and groom to stay with friends and family during the wedding night. We stayed at the Sage Cottage Inn on our wedding night and some of the wedding party stayed in the available rooms, too. It was great to wake up the next morning to a delicious breakfast and continue the fun with our friends. The house is set back from the main road and overlooks a mountain with horses. Definitely check this out for either a venue or accommodations.
