Sage Fine Flowers

Tisa at Sage Fine Flowers is the best! She made our wedding absolutely stunning. She brought our vision to life and went above and beyond our expectations. She is very quick to respond, easy to collaborate with, and has an amazing team helping her. I would recommend them to every bride!

We were deeply disappointed with our experience with Sage Fine Flowers. We chose this florist based on a strong reputation, but what we received on our wedding day was far from professional or reliable. Due to a scheduling error on their end, our wedding date was recorded incorrectly. We had to contact the florist ourselves in the early hours of the morning to ask where our flowers were—only then did they realize the mistake. Instead of taking full accountability, the initial response over the phone made it seem like fulfilling our order was a favor, not a responsibility. We were told she already had another wedding booked that day and that she would “have to figure something out.” As a result, the florals were not delivered for our Tea Ceremony, and we were left to source a replacement bouquet last-minute. The delay pushed back the ceremony, created unnecessary stress during what should have been a calm and meaningful part of the day, and impacted the overall timeline of the day. The boutonnieres were never delivered at all, and the bridal bouquet that was eventually delivered later that day did not match our order—it was significantly smaller and we were told they had “run out of flowers.” Reception florals were rushed and didn’t live up to what we agreed upon, some of them were wilting away. On top of all this, the florist did not acknowledge us when we arrived at the venue and only spoke to us after we approached her directly. I wouldn’t wish it on any bride to spend her wedding day questioning whether the flowers she dreamed of would ever arrive. While a partial refund was issued for the missing items and delivery fee, the disruption, poor communication, and lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression. While an apology was given, it did little to make up for the disruption and stress caused on such an important day. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Sage Fine Flowers.

I was recommended to use this vendor for my wedding florals, but was very disappointed with the communication and the execution of my wedding flowers. I was very specific about what I wanted my flowers to look like on my head table at my reception. I even sent photos to show exactly what I wanted. I wanted a "full" "lavish" runner of flowers down the entire length of both head tables. I was quoted and paid for a "full" runner, meaning lots of flowers to fill in all the empty spaces with little to no gaps... meaning lots of money. Instead, I had two head tables with gaps between every vase probably 4-5 inches wide. It was not full, it was not AT ALL what I had asked for or what was discussed in BOTH meetings I held with the owner of the company. It did not resemble the photos I sent, either. I was upset as this was the single most expensive item on my flower invoice by a large amount of money, and it was incredibly poorly executed. Upon emailing this vendor about my concerns and still thanking her for all the hard work she and her team put in for my wedding, I was told that I created a "completely different look for my wedding" when in my final meeting almost 2 weeks before the wedding, I only asked for two different flowers to be added. She told me I made it "impossible to create the look you wanted." Never did she tell me that in my last meeting. If I would have known that adding two other flowers would have caused it to be "impossible" to create the look I wanted (which I find to be quite untrue because my issue was about the FULLNESS of the runner, not the flower choices on my wedding day), then I would have NEVER made those choices. How am I supposed to know that... I am not a wedding florist and the I was never told I was asking for something that would completely change the look of my wedding flowers. She did not communicate to me that this change was going to ruin the runner vision. She did not address it after the meeting we held to me or my wedding planner, either. Instead, I showed up to my wedding reception and NOTICED it on my wedding day. It was incredibly unfortunate that I had to try and not be upset about this on the day of my wedding when I had communicated very clearly with Tisa, and had not received that in return. If I am asking for something "impossible", I should have be told that. I don't see ANY excuse around that when I was paying almost $7,000 for flowers. It's poor customer service and lacks accountability for the work that she does. Minimally, there should have been an apology in her response for my disappointment after all the vendors I looked through and decided to trust and choose her. And, not to mention, spend insane amounts of money on her work. I don't appreciate the lack of empathy or accountability with my wedding florals. I have a coworker that used her for her wedding a few years ago and she had a pretty unfortunate experience with Sage Fine Flowers, as well. I would not recommend this vendor.
