However, Sage Hill Rentals handled the situation very kindly and professionally. They were quick to communicate and offered us the option of either a full refund or selecting a different neon sign, which we really appreciated during such a busy and stressful time. Their flexibility and customer service made a big difference, and we were grateful for how smoothly they resolved the issue. We would definitely recommend Sage Hill Rentals for couples looking for stylish event rentals and a company that stands behind their service.

However, the information I was provided before signing the contract and making a payment was that we would be able to pick up the backdrop anytime after Wednesday and drop off by the following Tuesday. Nowhere did anything say, nor did anyone communicate, that a specific hour window on a specific day would be provided as the expected pickup/drop off time. For PICKUP, after I signed the contract and paid, they sent me a calendar invite for the THURSDAY before my wedding with a specific time. The more professional and courteous way to handle this would have been for Sage Hill to reach out and ask what worked for us (you know the extremely busy couple about to get married who work full-time!) But no, and Thursday, I had stuff scheduled all day. It was my first day out of the office, I had a nail appointment, spray tan, facial so in no way was it okay for anyone to slap something on my calendar. My husband had to work. After a ridiculous amount of back-and-forth emails/stress we moved the pickup time to Wednesday. I was able to get it during my lunch break. For DROP OFF. The same thing happened. Sage Hill sent me a calendar invite for a specific time on Tuesday. 5pm approximately. Well, my 63 year old mother who lives 45 minutes from their office was dropping it off since we had left for our honeymoon. In no way, did I want my mom driving that far in rush hour traffic through Columbus. FYI Sage Hill, my younger sister was in a horrific car accident just three weeks prior to this! She totaled her car and is lucky to be alive. So, being respectful of your customers’ schedules is extremely important for many various reasons. There was GOOD reason I did not want to ask my mom to make that drive in rush hour. Once my mom arrived, during the allotted and agreed upon time (after back and forth again) NO ONE was there to HELP HER get this massive thing into their office. So why did you force us to pick this time and then no one was there to help her. Overall, horrible customer service. This tiny piece we decided to add was way more trouble that it was worth. Every other vendor we had was wonderful to work with.

h for delivery) which was helpful. Downsides to this vendor, they give you a one hour window for pick up of items and drop off of items. Drop off was multiple days after the wedding and in the middle of a work day, which is not convenient for most people. We would much rather have been able to drop it off the day after the wedding. Also has small hiccups- they called to say we were late picking up and would be charged when we had already picked up the it items and had them at our home. Also changed location/time of drop off last minute- we were on our honeymoon and had a friend dropping things off for us, so we had to handle the communications for the change during our trip. Also, they attempted to charge us the security deposit even though nothing was damaged. All small fixes, but still would be concerns for people who don’t order enough for delivery to the venue.
