er what happened. Owners were helpful and detailed all the way planning start to finish. Mom and I did most of planning for sister. They are so sweet and treated us like family all the way through plan to event. My mom said Mrs Julia is angel on this earth. Handicap guests loved it there and were helped with love and care and got around everywhere fine even in wheelchair. Lady on inside very sweet and helped with my dress tear. Road and parking great lighting I was at weddings other places going to car in total dark and no help. These people helped whole wedding with golfcart. They worked and worked to make everyone happy all night with smiles. Whole place sparkling clean, beautiful and well maintain and family said we were so lucky to find this place. I will recommend them to everyone.

a walker. She showed me a ramp connected to the back porch that she claimed was for wheelchair access. She also said that they would be adding ramps for access to the decks snd to each of the outside toilets. The existing ramp is rickety, dangerous and too narrow for a wheelchair. No other ramps were ever added. The weather was rainy and cold (high 30s) the evening of the wedding. Fortunately we had rented a 20 X 40 tent. We bought three electric heaters for the tent, but the owner told us that they had a propane heater that would heat the whole tent. We brought a full propane tank and then the owners husband informed us that we could not use the heater in the tent because it would "melt it". We nearly froze. Even though we had the venue booked until 11 PM, the owner suddenly announced around 7:45 that we had 2 hours to pack up and leave the premises. When I asked her if something had happened to upset her, she repeatedly said, "Read your contract". Of course, my contract was at home, so I could not read it. I asked her again to please tell me if something had happened and she waved her hands in front of her face and turned and walked into her pantry and shut the door. She had told me weeks before that we could return the following morning to pick up any decorations or wedding items rather than try to load up everything that evening. She suddenly decided that everything had to be cleaned up and removed before 10 PM because the next day was her husband's birthday. As the decorator and her assistant were trying to leave the house with their full boxes, the husband of the owner slammed the door behind them and screamed "filthy fu---ing s-its!!" I also never got my $250 damage deposit returned to me. We did not damage anything and the property was left just as we had found it. This venue is a beautiful place, but it should not be advertised as handicap accessible until they make some major renovations. They also need to work on their communication skills. A previous review stated how good the condition of the dirt road is. Maybe in times past. On November 18 and November 19, 2022, it was terrible. Parking area (pasture on the other side of the house) was dark and hard to navigate when guests were trying to leave. The golf cart transport was sporadic at best to help carry elderly and handicapped from the parking area to the house and back. I spent most of my time trying to locate the owner to get elderly and disabled family and friends carried back to their cars.

ng at twilight was perfect for the late afternoon/early evening ceremony and then our group moved to the outdoor deck. The strand lighting provided just enough soft light to assure safe walking and dancing on the deck and steps but did not take away from the full moon and stars in the sky. orth the drive. Photographers dream everywhere we looked it was something different. Warm and welcoming people. The horses are to die for. So friendly. The white one was so cute and photogenic. Had to drive all the way home that night to get back to our families and talked the whole way home about this wedding. We now compare other weddings we do to this one. We have been asked to perform in Black & White formal, business casual and country western attire which shows the owners willingness to accommodate any setting the couples requests. We always enjoy the formality and rigid rules/schedules of a church wedding but it is great to "mix-it-up" with a rustic country shindig wedding as well and Sago Springs Manor offers both of these styles (and everything in between) to their couples. Marie and I are always excited to perform at Sago Springs Manor.

gs offers are beautiful for daytime weddings and absolutely breathtaking for evening weddings. The lengths that the owners go to assuring that details are exactly as expected were impressive. They took a lot of the burden off the bridal party and we had more time to enjoy the ceremony and reception. The landscape of Sago at the event I attended was beautiful and they allowed me to view photographs of previously events which featured other on site venues that we didn't even know were on the property. It was very impressive and the Sago Springs staff really exhausted themselves for us. Well worth the trip to Alabama for a destination wedding.

Able to have this place for two full days for a third of the price a friend paid for six hours. Also buying a house so on a budget. They are watching our money spending like it was their own suggesting ways to save but splurge. More beautiful than we thought we could afford. Use the horse and carriage if you can. Can't say enough except go look and better book before someone else does. Will suggest Sago Springs Manor to all my friends and family.
