One hour from Portland airport, Sailors Landing boasts eight acres of rolling lawns, manicured gardens, and woodland paths along 1200 feet of stunning Maine waterfront, where outdoor rehearsals, ceremonies, and receptions take place under canopies with views overlooking the water. Perfect for show-stopping photos, gorgeous harbor views and the rocky coast contrast with the estate's woodlands and landscaping to create a comforting yet manicured experience sparkling with New England charm. Add a cocktail or hors d'oeuvre tent, order an on-site lobster bake, and create unforgettable memories with loved ones. Want to arrive or depart by boat? The venue's private dock allows waterfront access through a 100-year-old cedar grove. A preparation suite is included with great room, dining, kitchen and lounging area, as well as a bridal suite/bedroom with a full bathroom for the wedding party. The outdoor deck seats 10, where you can enjoy relaxed meals and sunset cocktails with a barbecue grill. The intimacy of the venue leaves it yours to play with, from tight-knit rehearsals and marshmallows by the bonfire with loved ones, to grand, unforgettable events, the estate is yours for your event! Boothbay offers a wide array of activities, including biking, hiking, kayaking, visiting the Maine Coastal Botanical Gardens, taking schooner cruises, and more. Weddings booked are most often contracted to allot a one-week window of daytime access to the private estate for their rehearsal-based ceremony, reception, and any other associated events, with options for overnight rental available. Pricing for events varies by season. If staying on the property is desired, the rambling house has five cozy water-view bedrooms and four full bathrooms. This is rented as an add-on that is on a per night basis, meaning limited accommodation is available upon request at an additional cost. For full house rentals, a downstairs queen bedroom is located across from a bath equipped for mobility-challenged guests. Three sitting areas encourage intimate conversation. If not staying with us during your event, the aforementioned great room will be accessible to you and your guests. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area overlooking the spectacular cove and islands. The accessible upstairs bedroom also has a shower and bath with a large mirror and ample counter space. To ensure a seamless experience, the venue works exclusively with Maine wedding planners/co-ordinators.
