Saint Germain Catering

Saint Germain provided excellent catering service for our wedding. As great as the food and service was on our big day, a huge selling point for us was the customer service and attention we received from Rosy at Saint Germain. Rosy was a huge asset to have during the planning stages, as well as having on site during our wedding. Rosy worked hard to get us everything we wanted within our budget. She was always quick to reply to emails and make changes as we requested them. Our food tasting was a lot of fun and gave us an opportunity to fine tune our menu and meet with the chef who would prepare our meal. Saint Germain also allowed us to handle alcohol and beverages through a wholesaler to save ourselves money. Saint Germain has a large group of companies they work with for florists, DJs, linens, etc; so its nice to have a choice when it comes to those aspects. The food was so good and the service was excellent. Saint Germain is definitely worth a look if good food and good service are your primary concerns for your event.

I am absolutely horrified by the service and quality of the food we received for our wedding this past weekend. The tasting was excellent and we chose an Oktoberfest menu to pair with our brewery theme. However, once we received the food the day of the pretzels were thawed from being frozen (still cold), the cabbage was watery and the juice stained most of our guests, and when they packed up the leftovers, most of them were uncovered therefore destroying my kitchen for our return home. They offered a cake tasting, but when they switched managers (from Sarah to Rosy one month before the wedding), I was told they don't do tastings. I asked for a plain white fondant cake, trusting there's no way that could be mistaken for anything else, and instead received a glittery monstrosity with rhinestones. Needless to say, this not only didn't fit our theme but looked out of place and was a running joke the remainder of the evening. They didn't pass out the macaroons we had ordered, and only passed out about 10 - 15 slices of cake to our guests (60 total). During dinner Rosy intercepted me greeting a guest and informed me she was leaving early, and proceeded to ask me to rate the food and service while I was desperately trying to get back to the festivities. She had also confused us for another couple, and confused our invoice and didn't charge us the correct amount (almost $3k over what we agreed upon). The servers were kind, however, seemed extremely confused throughout the event. I'm not happy with my decision to use this caterer. I'm actually extremely upset that my wedding day and subsequent return home were tainted by this company. Don't make the same mistake.

Saint Germain catered my mid-April wedding. Sarah at Saint Germain assisted me through the tasting and booking process. She was professional, attentive, and friendly. During the tasting, I felt like she explained the food and it didn't feel like a pressure sale. Later when I booked with Saint Germain she allowed me to tweak my order so I could stay within budget. The food at the wedding was excellent! I received many compliments during the reception. I would highly recommend Saint Germain Catering to other brides!

We were extremely happy with Saint Germain. We had to plan long distance since it was a destination wedding, but they were very accommodating in working with us. We also had some special requirements (e.g., a lot of vegetarians as well as some big meat eaters), and they helped us come up with a menu that would please everyone. We received nothing but positive feedback from our guests, who raved about the food, and we were really impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of the wait staff who worked the event.
