John and Tara did an amazing job on our photos! They worked very hard to get every angle and capture every moment. John is very quick to respond to any emails or questions. Very professional, definitely recommend them to anyone! Thanks again for everything!

I cannot thank John enough. My event was today, I haven’t even seen the pictures yet, and I KNOW they will be incredible. John’s demeanor is laid-back- he has an attitude that puts you at ease and makes you feel so comfortable and not rushed at all. Yet, he is still so incredibly professional. He works well to coordinate with other vendors, knows the exact shot to take, is creative with where to go, how to pose, what to hold, everything! I cannot say enough good things about him and his skill set. I work with a lot of photographers in my line of work, and can honestly say he is top-notch. Can’t wait to get photos back from our shoot!!!

What a remarkable person, photographer, and local to the island. If I could choose 10 stars I would! My husband and I got married on Saint Simmons Island in May of 2018. We discovered John through the recommendation of our venue. Once we talked to John we were hooked. We asked John to take pictures for our Save the Dates. At the time, this was not something John had done a lot, but he was excited about the opportunity. My husband and I enjoyed the time spent with John and Tara during that session. They were so helpful. They even recommended a restaurant on the island for my husband and I that night. Fun fact: that restaurant was chosen for our rehearsal dinner. Once we got the photos from the save the dates, we knew the wedding would be unforgettable. Leading up to the wedding, John was flexible with meeting, talking/texting to ensure all the details were covered. We sent him some ideal images we wanted to capture on our wedding day and we got ALL of them! On the wedding day, John and Tara were so nice and came to the beach house where the bridesmaids and I were getting ready to capture some shots. They even went above and beyond and got pictures of the dresses, shoes, rings, etc. During the wedding, John and Tara worked so well to get the all the shots with family, bridal party, and the bride and groom. They had their work cut out for them because we had a large bridal party and over 150 guests. John was even open to experimenting with a photo during the wedding: having guests throw beach balls into the air at the end of the ceremony. This is an exciting picture and one that our guests have raved about. It has even been featured on social media. John worked really hard to edit our photos to make sure they were perfect, but this did not delay his timing. We were able to get our photos just shy of a month- which is amazing for the amount of pictures we received. Go with John and Tara- you will not be disappointed!

Using John for our wedding photographer was the best decision we made! John did both our engagement and wedding photos for us and both turned out even better than I ever could have expected. For our engagement photos John came out to our family farm and was so creative in different shots and was so much fun to work with. For our wedding John was fantastic! Since he knew our venue he was awesome about knowing where and when to take creative pictures. He stayed with us the whole day-from the "getting ready photos" to the sparkler exit-we have every moment of our special day captured. If you are looking for an awesome and creative photographer, no need to look any further because John is your guy!
