I highly recommend Heather and her team. We loved how they had a few different cuisine options allowing us the flexibility to book them (due to the limited number of local vendors in Salida) but choose the food we liked best. We went with the BBQ and we could not recommend more. Our guests LOVED the food.

We had limited interaction with Salida Catering, but planning for our wedding in BV was a breeze. Their website and initial email communications made it easy to choose our appetizers and entrées, and we appreciated the wide variety of cuisines. We went with a disposable buffet (not staffed beyond setup), and they delivered on time and set up quickly. We ordered the Mexican trio chips and dips and caprese skewers (10-15 guests/order), plus a pasta bar ($25/person) with two options for proteins, noodles, and sauces + breadsticks and salad. They also had eggplant for a couple of our vegan guests, and we really appreciated that it could be added individually vs. full servings (they were happy to create new app options with their chef team, too, if necessary). There was more than enough food for guests, venue staff, and even leftovers. Adjusting the final quantity and menu was quick and easy, and overall, the process was very straightforward. (Sadly, we were so caught up in the night that I didn't get any good pictures of the final setup or food, but it all hit the spot!) Great option for anyone celebrating near Salida or Buena Vista!
