We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Salon 61! From the moment we booked our venue until the very last dance, every part of our experience exceeded our expectations.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and was the perfect size for our 105-person wedding. There was plenty of space for guests to mingle and socialize during cocktail hour while still having an amazing dance floor where everyone could celebrate the night away. It struck the perfect balance between elegant, intimate, and fun.
But what truly made Salon 61 exceptional was the incredible team—Liz, Giana, and Kate. They were absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. They answered every question we had promptly, guided us through every detail, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel so easy. What stood out the most was how personal everything felt. It never felt like we were just another wedding on their calendar—it felt like we were working with friends who genuinely cared about making our day perfect.
On our wedding day, they were attentive to every detail and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Because of them, we were able to completely relax and be present, knowing everything was being handled so seamlessly. Everything flowed effortlessly, allowing us to focus on what truly mattered: celebrating with the people we love.
And then there was the food... absolutely phenomenal! We had countless guests come up to us throughout the night saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Every course was delicious, and our guests are still talking about it.
One of the most thoughtful touches—and something I'll never forget as a foodie bride—was that immediately after the ceremony, they had our signature drinks and a tray of hors d'oeuvres waiting just for us. It gave us a chance to take a quiet moment together, soak in the excitement of being newly married, and actually enjoy the incredible food before jumping back into the celebration. It was such a small gesture that made a huge impact.
It's those thoughtful little details that set Salon 61 apart. Liz, Giana, Kate, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. We are so incredibly grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. If you're looking for a venue with a beautiful space, amazing food, and a team that will treat your wedding like it's the most important event in the world, Salon 61 is it. We cannot recommend them highly enough!
Salon 61 is an absolutely stunning venue!! We had our wedding and reception there in May of 2026 and it was truly perfect. We got so many compliments on the venue and the food from our guests! A very special thank you to Kate, who managed our event, listened to our vision, and was always available for any questions we had!! We could not have had our dream wedding without her help.

- Liz HakeSenior Sales ManagerLiz Hake is originally from Northbrook, Illinois, and got her start in the restaurant industry in college. Liz joined the Lettuce Entertain You family as a host and server at Wildfire in Glenview in 2007, while also pursuing a degree in history at Northeastern Illinois. Upon graduation, Liz joined the opening team at RPM Italian where she was a server and bartender for 3 years. Looking for a new challenge and opportunity, Liz joined Limelight and The Revel Group as an Event Producer to begin her career in catering sales, but quickly returned back to LEYE where she opened Booth One. Liz then moved on to join the team at Aba and The Dalcy where she was promoted to their Senior Sales Manager. After nearly 6 years at Aba and The Dalcy Liz is now proud to be the Senior Catering Sales Manager at Salon 61. Her favorite part of the job is the creativity of planning, and seeing an idea come to life. When Liz isn’t in the restaurant, she enjoys going to sports events, live performances, concerts, dining out and exploring Chicago.
