First, I just want to say that if you are fortunate enough to land Amanda as your hairstylist on your big day, you have not only found an incredibly talented and professional stylist but a complete GEM of a human being. Amanda did my hair, the hair of my mom, my flower girl, my officiant, four bridesmaids, and - unexpectedly - the hair of my soon-to-be-sister-in-law (who had her stylist bail the morning of the wedding). After talking extensively over email and via phone, we met for the first time during a trial for my mom and me at Salon 804 in Traverse City the week of my wedding. Genuinely, it felt like I’d known her for years during that appointment. Her hair was EXACTLY what I wanted and that was not an easy task. She took the time, during both the trial and the big day, to make sure every strand of hair was perfect on each and every head she touched. And she did it with the most patient and positive energy. She listened to us and made us each feel like the most important (and beautiful) person in the room while we were in her chair. I could not be more grateful to have found Amanda and now, I can’t imagine my wedding day without her. Do yourself a favor and at least send an inquiry, you won’t regret it!

Amanda and her team were AMAZING. They arrived right on time to our location, did the hair and makeup of ELEVEN ladies, and everyone looked and felt great! My hair held up all night and my makeup looked perfect even after some serious dancing towards the end of the night. I wanted a very natural look and to really just feel like myself, but the best version and Amanda NAILED IT. I loved my look and received a ton of compliments. She made everything so easy, even when it came to payments and coordinating who was getting their hair/makeup done and when. I wish I lived in the area so Amanda could do my hair regularly!! The bridesmaids all loved their looks and felt looked after the whole time. Everyone on Amanda's team was great!

Alex and Amanda were so wonderful. They were utter professionals but at the same time relaxed and creative and GREAT listeners. They made me and my bridesmaids feel like themselves, but the most gorgeous versions of themselves. Alex even did the impossible and got my hair to hold a curl all night, when the previous record was about 10 minutes. A miracle! Book them right this second sheesh what are you waiting for?

Amanda is the best! I always feel so relaxed and pampered while I visit her here. Love this salon!
