booked Salon & Spa 18 on 03/03/20 after seeking out recommendations. Wing was our contact person throughout all of the planning. Unfortunately, because of the Covid outbreak, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the wedding due to the health and safety of our out of state guests. Wing could not have been any easier, accommodating or gracious to work with. We had booked the salon for 10 updos AND it was on a Sunday! Wing could not have been more understanding and prompt in returning our very large deposit. when we cancelled on 07/13/20. I am extremely grateful to him for all he was willing to do for us.

My hair hair was stunning! Wing gave me a romantic updo with baby’s breath. The makeup artist was a gem. Myself and most of my bridesmaids do not wear foundations or powders normally, but the artist made our makeup lightweight and flawless. She really knew how to draw out our beauty and was an absolute delight to work with. I would recommend Salon and Spa 18 to anyone. Not only is Wing talented with wedding updos, but he and his team are fantastic at hair coloring and cuts too! I’ve been going to Wing for years and will continue for many more to come.

ago told me that they were unable to travel for the services. In a pinch at my make up trial with Peggy I asked Wing if I could add hair services for 8 girls. The salon bent over backwards to help. Sandra came to the rescue to do my hair and most of the other bridesmaids, even Wing stopped by the venue to lend a helping hand. All the services from salon 18 including the make up from Peggy and Juli and hair by Sandra and Wing was AMAZING. These are the people you want on your special day!

eturning costumer ever since! I adore going for my regular appointments and partly because I love the shop! The previous review that mentioned a mildew smell is delusional and only looking for something to gripe about, because I have never been to a more pristinely clean or relaxing salon. Everything is designed around and for your comfort, and I've never smelled anything that wasn't amazing (mostly lavender, and the normal smells of shampoo and beauty products) and between the music and the tea or coffee they offer you, it's one of my very favorite places! As for Wing not listening to your requests, I can tell you that he and his whole staff are the upmost professionals and try their absolute best to give you what you want, but even the most phenomenal of professionals cannot read your mind, so be prepared to really explain what it is you want. And if you want something super super specific, bring in a picture and be upfront about it. That really goes for any salon! It's just common courtesy. He works wonders with my hair (which is very thick and unmanageable at times) and I always leave feeling beautiful. I will forever recommend Wing and his staff for weddings, events (they even do charity events) and just for regular appointments. It is a truly peaceful, cultured and high quality experience.
