Salon Le Rae

Rachel, Mackenzie, and the whole bridal team at Salon Le Rae made me feel at my very best for my special day! Rachel, the owner, conducted a hair extensions consult with me, completed hair trials for my mom and I, prepped my hair the night prior with a blow out, and spoke to me at length about the needs and timeline for my bridesmaids and family members who were also getting their hair done for the event. I shared my vision with Rachel and she placed a top notch effort into curling my hair and hair extensions in a multi-hour process. Mackenzie did an amazing job of highlighting my features through make-up in a very natural way! Between all of the prep work and the day of, my bridesmaids, mom, and I looked incredible! We also spoke extremely highly of the entire experience- It was relaxing yet Rachel’s team still managed to get us out the door on time for departure to the venue. I HIGHLY recommend this salon for all of your bridal needs!

Wow, Salon Le Rae is simply the best. Because my hair is fine, I was very concerned that I wouldn't feel as beautiful as I wanted to on my wedding day. I had previously my hair done as a bridesmaid in 2 weddings by Rachel, the owner, who specializes in thin/fine hair. I still get compliments about one of those updos, 4 years later, so as soon as I got engaged, I booked Salon Le Rae and secured Rachel as my head stylist. For this reason, when I booked, I thought I wanted an updo. But once I fell in love with my dress, I realized it was a dress that required my hair be fully down. So I was panicking that I wouldn't be able to find a style that looked good or flattered my hair type. Rachel consulted with me on this, and suggested that I get clip-in extensions. I set up an appointment with Stephanie, another in-house stylist, to do a consultation and color match. Stephanie is now my permanent hair stylist, and I will be traveling from Philly to exclusively have Stephanie color and cut my hair - she was that good. Stephanie saw my inspo pictures and did a version of them that was perfect with my hair type, skin tone, and face shape. She also reassured me that the style I wanted would be great, and that helped me feel comforted. (Side note: Stephanie also did my rehearsal dinner hair, which was SO PERFECT and not at all cheugy. TYSM Stephanie!). Midway through planning, I realized that I forgot to include two people on my getting ready list, which severely impacted my timeline. Not only that, but when I reached out to confirm the new time with my venue, they told me I actually couldn't get ready on-site as they'd originally promised. So, we had to add two people AND change locations. Rachel was amazing throughout this process, coordinating with everyone on her team, updating my timeline, volunteering to come way earlier in the morning, and even calling my photographer to coordinate their timing. I almost cried with how gracious, kind and functional she was. At the trial, Rachel let me vent about all the crazy wedding planning things that had happened and was so reassuring and understanding. I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. When I finally saw my hair, I was shocked because it looked even better than I'd ever imagined. After that, I made some notes about things that could be tweaked, and Rachel responded to my email that same day with her new plan for how to tweak those few things. On the day of the wedding, Rachel kept her team moving with time and helped me stay calm. She took in feedback from my bridesmaids and made their hair look exactly as they wanted. Everyone looked perfect and everyone's hair stayed all night long. I could not have been happier with how my look came out and lasted through dancing, being picked up on people's shoulders, sweating, and hugging a million people. I cannot recommend Salon Le Rae enough!!

Rachel and team from Salon Le Rae are fabulous! During my trial, both Rachel and Taryn were great at taking inspiration photos and turning them into reality, but specific to me and my hair/skin type. They didn't just try to copy cat a look for me, they truly wanted to make it "me." The whole team at Salon Le Rae were absolute professionals the day of the wedding, too! They created unique hairstyles for each bridesmaid based on their request, not just standard bridesmaid hairstyles you see all the time. They are also a very fun crew of people and we had a lot of laughs the day of the wedding! I cannot recommend this team enough!
