As for their administration... Horrible. Granted, this was mid- to late-2022, so COVID was a thing, and the excuse they used. But I don't think that's an excuse in this situation, at least not to this extent. They didn't answer their phones, they don't call you back, they don't respond to emails or web inquiries. They responded quickly at first, confirming they had my date available, sent me a digital agreement that had some mistakes on it, and didn't get back to me for days to correct it. The initial agreement was set to expire, and I was terrified of losing my spot. Eventually they fixed it, but it took forever to get everything right. Everything ended up being so last minute and stressful. I really hope they're back up to full staffing and no one else has this experience.

emailed and called Salon Maison they were very clear, honest, and communicative. I loved that they immediately in my first email sent me their pricing. I did a lot of research and found that Salon Maison’s pricing was very average/fair for high quality services and the years of experience they have! Being two brides, having two Mother of the Brides, and 8 Bridesmaids, Salon Maison was very helpful and accommodating in making sure our hair and makeup looked great for our large party of 12 ladies! I found them to be very communicative over email and the phone and they always responded quickly. Handling payments over the phone was very easy with them too. Both of our hair trials were wonderful and we truly had a great experience. With having two Brides, it was important to us that we had multiple stylists so that we wouldn’t get behind in our getting ready the morning of the wedding. Salon Maison said that we would have at least 3 stylists for the day.
The morning of the wedding, there was unfortunately a medical emergency with one of our 3 stylists and Salon Maison emailed/called at 5:45am that day to inform me. Due to the medical emergency they said they were sending their most senior stylist as one of our 2 other stylists and that they would work on getting a third person. Our hair/makeup was supposed to start at 7am, but they said they would be about 15/20 minutes delayed because of this and unfortunately they were closer 45/50 minutes late which made our day start about an hour behind. We also didn’t end up getting a third stylist like we needed. This delay was unfortunate as it affected our photo taking schedule later, but of course there was nothing we could do since it was a medical emergency. We ended about an hour later than planned. It was unfortunate, but not their fault. I wish there was perhaps a back up stylist plan with Salon Maison, in case something like this happens. Despite the late start, our stylists Heidi and Aliyah were fantastic. They did such an incredible job making sure that our Bridal Hair/Makeup and our Bridal party’s Hair/Makeup looked wonderful. They both truly listened to us in what we were wanting and what our Mother’s and Bridesmaid’s wanted as well. Heidi (the most senior stylist), was a hair/makeup magician. Despite the late start and missing 3rd stylist, she got through our party’s hair/makeup so quickly and so we were only 1 hour delayed. She also was so kind to offer our full party complimentary eye lashes with their makeup due to the delay.
Overall, we really enjoyed working with Salon Maison despite the hiccup and absolutely loved our hair and makeup on our wedding day! Our hair/makeup lasted till the very end and we felt fabulous every moment.

My experience with the actual company was just "so-so". First, when I called and booked my appointment they took my payment and...
said I was to receive a receipt and contract the next day. When I followed up with them two days later they responded by saying "contracts are created in the order they are received." That's all fine and well; however, that is not what I was communicated. If you make a commitment with someone, you should certainly do your best to honor it and take responsibility if you are unable to meet that expectation, especially as a business. I did receive the contract after emailing them and emailed it back to them the Monday before my wedding. They responded and thanked me.
Oddly enough, I received an email from them the day before my wedding stating that they hadn't received my contract. I immediately forwarded the contract I had sent them days prior and they never responded apologizing or acknowledging receipt. I has half expecting no one to show up the next day for my wedding. However, Heidi did and she was awesome! Worth the hassle with dealing with the main company. I would recommend them, I just encourage them to have better communication.

I felt so gorgeous when she was done, and she was even patient with me jumping up and down to deal with other things that were happening, even though she had another appointment to get to! The only negative is that the price was pretty high -- over $400 for hair and makeup (and travel fees, since my venue was outside the Seattle/Bellevue/Kirkland area), which did include the trial run, but which also included $30 for applying false eyelashes that I realized later would probably have cost me about $5 if I had done them myself. Oh well, lesson learned. But, really their service is excellent, they know how to treat a bride, and I felt like I absolutely glowed -- in person and in our wedding photos. I believe salon maison is a great team but they tend to not hit it on the correct spot right away, you almost have to speak up quite often on what you want or have at least 2 or 3 trial runs with them.

I initially was going to cop out and go the cheap route with hair (think Gene Juarez Academy) and went for a trial session there…but that really turned out horribly – and it took over two hours for something Heidi could do in about 30-45 minutes. I am SO glad I decided to go with Salon Maison over the cheapo route (and really, it was pretty affordable for a wedding updo). On my wedding day, my hairstyle even stayed in place after a curtain rod fell on my head during family photos next to the giant windows in our venue. Now how’s that for “worth every penny”?

After attending the Seattle wedding show and getting quotes from lots of other hair/make-up vendors, we went with Salon Maison. They have an incredible amount of experience and the photos of their work showed they could do a variety of styles. I also found they were much cheaper than salons like Gene Juarez, who charged a huge fee to travel to the wedding location (even just their salon prices were more expensive).
My hair and makeup held up all night long and looking at all of the pictures, all of the bridal party and the moms and grandma's hair/makeup turned out great.

it made things much easier since we just had to get all the girls to one place. Our consultant was wonderful to work with and asked for feedback at both the trial and the wedding. I don't normally wear a ton of makeup, and she was able to give me a natural look that was a bit "pumped up". As an added bonus, I didn't feel like I had a ton of makeup caked onto my face - in fact, I barely felt like I was wearing any at all.
