Salon montage

it shouldn't be THAT hard, right?! It's the DC area!). I wanted a stylist with credentials. A salon where I didn't feel like a number. A salon where ONE stylist worked on my color (not 3 people painting my hair!), and a salon that was equal parts catering and relaxing. THIS is Salon montage Seema Dubey. Upon entering I was greeted by Seema a super friendly. Upon being seated I was handed a LENGTHY beverage list, which included infused water, several coffee selections and wine (yeees!). Seema met with me about my hair goals How my color and highlights (balayage) going to look like in 6 to 8 weeks or 10 to 12 weeks and educate me. I requested a balayage, which I've had before and knew it would take a while. I have fine medium length hair. The entire process took FOUR HOURS, which I'm not mad about - I'm glad my stylist, Seema, took her time to color and cut my hair meticulously. I used to go to the number one rated salon in Newyork for years and thought it was the absolute best, but Seema gave that salon a run for its money!! I've never had a cut so good in my lifetime. Because my hair is so fine and straight it's often difficult to cut in a way it's not super blunt and gives any volume. My stylist Seema took time to texturize the bottom and it looks FANTASTIC! In regard to price, Salon Montage is comparable to other high end salons. My balayage and cut cost $325, which is around what I expected. My stylist Seema ask me to book another appointment without any pressure. No one pushed products at me which was also a bonus. The cherry to the cake, and the part that told me I wasn't just a number at this salon, was the thank you text to reminder apt next visit. How nice was that!?
