Salon on the Hudson

Salon on the Hudson did my, my bridesmaid’s, my flower girl, the mothers hair as well as my makeup, in total they did 9 people’s hair and every one of them looked great. I went in for a hair trial and Taylor spent so much time with me and listened to everything I said. I spent about 2 hours in the chair during my trial and took tons of pictures as did she. The day of my wedding Salon on the Hudson was so organized, they were prepped for us and had many stylist working to make sure we got finished in plenty of time. They did a great job on the girls hair and listened to us about what we liked and altered anything we didn’t love and the hairstyles came out looking great. My hair was amazing, Taylor did everything I wanted, I literally could not be more happy with house it turned out. In addition to it looking great my and all the girls hair lasted throughout the whole day which was about 14 hours. I also had my makeup done and while I’m blanking on the girls name she was fabulous. My friend was looking at my wedding pictures and commented again on how great of a job the markup artist did. I wanted my look to be as natural as possible and she achieved that.

Salon on the Hudson did the hair and makeup for my wedding and everything came out beautiful. My hair and makeup were truly amazing. My only complaint is that they took a bit too long doing my hair so I was late for everything. I was suppose to be done by 1pm and was't finished until 1:45, which really put me behind schedule.

I recently went here for my hair trial with the stylist, Kristin. She was very nice. She made me feel very comfortable & listened to what I liked & disliked. She managed to do a style that I really liked which was probably not easy considering I didn't really know exactly what I wanted going in. Thankfully she was able to nail the look I was going for after I showed her a few pictures of looks that I liked. She did 2 different styles so I could see another option that I was considering which was really helpful. Afterwards, she took a few photos of my hair so I could see the back and we discussed any adjustments I'd potentially want on the big day. The salon itself was nice and clean. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend this place and Kristin.

I had a brunch wedding at West Point earlier this month and the stylists at Salon the Hudson made the entire day start off wonderfully. They were able to come right to the venue (a hotel in the area) bright and early to take care of the hair and makeup for our entire bridal party. I was nervous but they set the right tone as friendly, professional and compassionate people. Alison, Kristin and Chrissy made us all feel like a million bucks, and so many people complimented us on our hair and makeup! They asked a few questions and immediately got the "vibe" I wanted for the wedding; I felt so comfortable knowing they would do an amazing job, it was great having one less thing to worry about! I would absolutely recommend Salon on the Hudson to anyone for their wedding hair and makeup needs. Thank you!
