Salt & Pine came all the way down to Mexico for us. Being a professional photographer for 20 years and in the wedding industry for 15 it was really important to get the visuals right. My husband and I are SO thankful we had the opportunity to work with Salt + Pine on our wedding day! I wish I could make a video to say how much I loved working with Pao and Jesse, but it would just look bad next to their videos! They literally created what can only be described as feeling like we were in a Hollywood Romantic Movie! The videos are so spectacular, but even beyond how amazing their work is, as it speaks for itself, they are both so phenomenal. They take the time to do an hour zoom prior to the wedding to get your vibe, what you want, and to already feel so comfortable with them when they walk in for your wedding day. My partner and I were frantically looking for videographers for our wedding that we put together on really short notice, and by some miracle, our wedding date happened to be the only remaining date Paola & Jesse had available for the year. We immediately booked them after checking out their body of work and I can wholeheartedly say this was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. From the very first time we talked to Paola, she was so engaging and she genuinely took an interest in us and our story. Both she and Jesse were so accommodating and truly made us feel comfortable and special. Paola took the time to ask questions to better understand us and what kinds of things we wanted for our wedding video. She wanted to make sure she knew of any important details that couldn't be missed. She checked in numerous times in the short timeframe that we were working together before the wedding and made sure we were all on the same page. On the day of our wedding, Paola & Jesse arrived early to start their work and were ready for us when we got there. They were both so wonderful and they had some really great ideas up their sleeve to really capture some candid moments that they used to assist them in creating an amazing video for us. They truly captured every detail we could have asked for and even though we were only together a short period of time, we really felt like that understood us and what we wanted for our video. Short version/summary: Five stars isn’t enough. HIRE THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING. It was the best decision I made in all my wedding planning and I planned 2 COVID weddings so I made a lot of decisions. Their work is incredible, but even more importantly they are incredible people. Long version/a love letter to Paola and Jesse: We had the absolute privilege of working with Paola and Jesse for not one, but two weddings (of our own)! The first time I met Paola (over the phone) was pre-Covid when I had reluctantly told my dad I would reach out to a few videographers - a wedding video was not something I thought I needed. The moment I got on the phone with Paola, I knew I needed her at my wedding. She felt like a friend (which I now consider her to be). She got me, she got my vision and was helpful beyond just videography (giving recommendations for bands and makeup artists)! Paola and Jesse were flexible with our rapidly changing Covid plans and were able to film our minimony in November 2020 which was extra important as my dad was the officiant. Our first videos were amazing and we didn’t think anything could top them….and then they did. The day of our big wedding in 2021 was a cluster and these two were a calming presence, saving the day multiple times most notably with a safety pin for my dads boutonnière (from Paola’s bag of wedding necessities)! They are so fun and kind and they kept us laughing and smiling all day which resulting in the most wonderful videos I could imagine. Their work is STUNNING, they’re super prompt, professional, organized, and worked seamlessly with my photographer, but more importantly I can’t imagine my wedding day(s) without them. My guests noticed not only how great their finished product is, but also how great they are as people. True story - I told them if I had to plan another wedding just to hang out with them again, I would do it, no question. They are truly the best.

I would give Paola and Jesse one thousand stars if I could. As every other review says, there is literally NO ONE better. My wedding video was a priority for me, so I scoured the internet looking for the perfect vendor. I watched countless videos and I've never seen anyone who creates a better film. Seriously, look no further. The videos speak for themselves, but what you won't know by watching their videos is what great people they are. They made my husband and I feel SO comfortable on our wedding day. Also, Jesse and Paola took the time to get to know us during our wedding planning process. Paola periodically sent emails to check in and see how we were doing, and asked if we needed anything. I knew I wanted to book them when I found their videos, but after talking with Paola it was a nonnegotiable for me. I have already told every single person I know (married, engaged, single - doesn't matter) that they need to find a way to hire Salt + Pine in their life. I had such high hopes for my own wedding video and it did not disappoint. They completely captured every moment and really delivered what I was hoping for. I (along with everyone else I know) have watched my video a ridiculous amount of times. They are simply the best and I guarantee you will not be disappointed in working with them.

First and foremost if you are looking for a videographer look no further. Having Paola & Jesse be a part of our wedding day was the best decision we made. From our initial phone call with Pao we felt so comfortable and understood as to what was most important to us to be captured on the day of the wedding. I genuinely do not have the words to describe our life changing experience with Jesse and Paola. Is this a love letter to them? Quite frankly, yes. They are the utmost perfect version of yin and yang, and will bring their infectious energy far beyond your big day. Their ease of communication made it so easy to trust them, and they were the one vendor I did not question for a second through the whole wedding process. They are so quick to respond to any last minute worries, and when they are there on your day it is without a question that your wedding is the ONLY thing they are worried about. They are FULLY present in the entire day, whether it is finding a unique shot angle, or using their emergency tricks of the trade to unstick a bridesmaid's zipper. They truly are there and focused on you. The experience with Jesse and Paola was so pleasant I haven't even spoken the actual video yet. Their videography speaks for itself. I don't have to tell you about the way my entire family cries when viewing the video, or the way I watch the teaser at least one a week even though it's been 7 months since the actual day. Any person I have shown our video to is speechless. When watching the video you feel transported back to the day. Scroll through their instagram and see their work for yourself, and hire them so you can see how amazing they are behind the scenes of the final product. It is easy to be nervous about your wedding budget and be hesitant to hire someone for something that may be considered "extra". I can promise you that hiring Salt and Pine will be worth every penny you spend, and if you don't think that now, you will thank yourself in time. Wedding flowers die, your dress and suit will get tight, and you only eat the meal once. Having your wedding video done by Salt and Pine will last forever. Adjust your budget, and cross your fingers they still have your date available.   Jesse and Pao are the greatest wedding guests, get ready helpers, planners, clam souls, adventure takers, drone fliers, film artists, and memory keepers on the market. Jesse & Paola are the real MVP’s. (They’re full calendar proves it!) I came across them on The Knot and started to watch their videos and was so impressed. From our first conversation Paola was like a friend. We hired J&P pre-c*vid but Paola kept in touch via email and phone calls during the difficult year that 2020 was. They were very accommodating and understanding when we changed our date AND venue. Our new venue had some drone restrictions and I expressed my concerns and they reassured me everything would be fine and they would figure it out. P had a family emergency a few days before the wedding and I’m still sad that we didn’t get to meet in person, however they found another professional to fill in and produced amazing video footage! Our guests commented on how well our vendors worked together, they thought they all were from the same company. We feel so fortunate to have worked with such amazingly talented people. And now we have a stunning video to look back on for the rest of our lives. A lot of people wonder if having a video is “worth it” and the answer is yes, no questions asked YES!!

TLDR: Don't hesitate to book!! This is a long overdue review of the amazing Salt + Pine Films from our wedding on July 9 2021. Pre-Wedding: My husband and I were extremely picky over our vendors and when we had seen S&Ps reel, we knew they were exactly who we needed to document our big day. After inquiring about our date, we took a short break from wedding planning (hello covid), and they were courteous enough to let us know someone else had inquired about our date but that we had first right to them. We quickly booked and got started working with Pao and Jesse. They were incredible from the start and even sent us a covid care package in April 2020 - it was the nicest thing any of our vendors did and reminded us why we we had booked them in the first place. Wedding Day: Pao and Jesse were nothing short of incredible. They felt like best friends, coordinators, videographers, and advocates for us the entire day. Our wedding was during a hurricane in Newport, RI (and of course a pandemic) and they rolled with the punches like true professionals and even managed to get amazing drone footage. Everyone kept commenting on how amazing they were as a team and we were so thrilled they were there. Post-Wedding: The three videos they created were a CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE!! They captured the day perfectly and were the exact style we had desired for our wedding. They captured small glances and big moments of joy. Our videos truly take us back to our wedding day and remind us of the best moments of the day. A few days after we got our videos I woke up in a panic because I wished I had opted to get the full raw footage from the day. Pao let us know that we were in luck - they hold onto all the footage and we were still able to add it to our package. Such a relief! I want to hold onto and cherish the footage from our big day for the rest of our life. Thank you both for being such incredible wedding partners. We couldn't have done it without you!

Our wedding was in May 2021 days after covid restrictions lifted. We were thrilled to be able to have a normal wedding! It was our first time meeting Jesse & Paola and they are the most down to earth couple - they are amazing! Being around them that day - we felt like we had known them for years! Then when the videos were completed - we were blown away! They truly captured all of the special moments from our big day! I would 1000% recommend them to anyone who is just starting to find vendors for there wedding.

My wife and I had two wedding celebrations: a small private ceremony in 2020, and a larger formal reception in 2021. There are an endless number of words we could use to describe the quality of the films Salt + Pine created for each of these events: beautiful, creative, honest, loving, funny…above all, to us our films are truly perfect! Jesse & Paola’s films aren’t just video clips of our wedding days, they are emotional journeys that take us back in time to the mindset of the two best days of our lives. After instantly becoming best friends with J & P after our first Zoom call, we absolutely know you will love them and the films they create for you. Jesse & Paola are true artists and there is no possible way you will regret trusting them to capture your day!!

THE BEST EVER, full stop. I could write an entire novel professing my love for Paola and Jesse, but know anyone reading this has 4378536 things on the wedding to-do list to get to, so I will keep it short: Hiring and working with Paola and Jesse was the first, easiest, and best decision we made about our wedding. I know couples feel like videography is "extra" and "you already have a photographer, so do you really need both?" and my answer is YES, YES, 1000X YES. Your wedding day is going to FLY BY and your photographer is going to capture as much as they can, but do you want to remember your partner's voice as they read their vows? Hear your guests laugh at the joke in the best man's speech? Feel like an absolute ROCKSTAR with the sweetest two humans filming you and all of the teeny details of the night that you missed while you get your dress / socks / groove on?! So much goes into wedding planning, but you only walk away from it with blurry memories and the photographs and if you're smart, the videos, and if you trust me, the infectious joy and incredible talent of Salt + Pine Films.

Paola and Jesse filmed Collin and my wedding on Block Island in September 2021. Words fail to describe how truly amazing these two are. Weddings can be stressful. Jesse and Paola both brought a calming and fun energy with them. It was absolutely contagious. Collin and I had such a great time with them as they gave us prompts and words of encouragement. Paola and Jesse went above and beyond the duties of videographers. They were both excellent at reading the room. At one point, I could not find my wedding planner and Paola stepped in and directed. At that moment, I was so unbelievably grateful to have someone around who I knew had my back. In addition to being all-around spectacular people, Jesse and Paola created the most magnificent video of our wedding. I am forever grateful to have such amazing content to relive the best day of my life.

Paola and Jesse were beyond amazing to work with and their work was breathtaking! I met Paola and Jesse back in 2019 in a small little coffee shop to discuss hiring them to video our wedding. Little did I know almost two years later, thanks to COVID, would be when we finally got to work with them and see their magic come to life. Paola and Jesse were so easy to work with and so kind with their words/praise along the way. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received on our wedding video. One friend even told us that the video looked like it was straight out of a movie and she was not wrong! Paola and Jesse are an amazing team and together create such beautiful work. Where do I even begin? Salt + Pine Films is simply the BEST. We booked Salt + Pine for our wedding 5/1/21 after falling in love with a video they had created for one of our friends. Before I rave about their day-of performance, I also want to note that the communication and organization leading up to our wedding was top notch. We communicated a lot in the months leading up to the big day given that we were married during the pandemic. We discussed several different back-up plans and different venues due to COVID and Paola and Jesse couldn’t have been more flexible, understanding, and kind. They made us feel like we were their only priority and that they would support us no matter what decision we made for our wedding day. Fast forward to the wedding day and Paola and Jesse were simply outstanding. They are both just a pleasure to be around and made us feel so relaxed and at ease. Our guests, bridal party, and parents were raving about how sweet and genuine they were. I should also mention how seamlessly they worked with the photographer and how well their services complimented each other. After the wedding was over we received our Instagram teaser so quickly and just couldn’t have been more impressed with the teaser and the highlight film. Seriously will be watching it on repeat forever. Everything was incredible, would not change a thing. You will not regret hiring Salt + Pine Films - best decision I ever made!

On site for our wedding weekend Paola and Jesse brought so much light and good energy to our day - our family and friends loved them too! Throughout the day my husband and I loved having Paola and Jesse around. They went so above and beyond in every single possible way and made us feel so special throughout the weekend. After an incredible experience at the wedding, the films that they created were beyond our wildest dreams. Our friends and family couldn’t get over the quality of the films - even commenting that our Teaser looked like a film trailer and we agree! The films are true art and they encapsulated the feeling of the weekend perfectly in our teaser, highlight and feature films. I immediately connected with Paola and Jesse and it was one of the easiest vendor decisions we made. When Covid hit, we decided to postpone to 2021 but also have a micro wedding on our original date. Paola and Jesse were so supportive and quick to join in on the new plan. They're so easy to communicate with and truly a dream team. At the micro wedding they were a source of calm and made the whole day more fun. We ended up with the most amazing films, they really took the time to get to know us as a couple and the films reflected that. Jesse & Paola were a dream to work with. They both went above and beyond in ensuring that everything went smoothly on my wedding day! Just WOW! I cannot express how much I love my wedding video. It is truly everything I hoped for and more. We were on such a crazy deadline because of coronavirus so we had every change you could possibly imagine. Within a week of our wedding we changed our venue to a different state and salt + pine were completely able to accommodate. They truly went above and beyond. Their work is flawless, impeccable and truly unique to YOU. If you’re looking for a videographer to capture memories and moments then look no further. Plus they are the sweetest people you’ll work with. My husband is not big on being in the spotlight but they made him feel so comfortable that he completely felt like himself and we even forgot they were there. Absolutely amazing! My husband and I had to cancel our large 350 person wedding due to Covid. We decided to have a small wedding with just our bridal party and immediate family. We are SO HAPPY we reached out to Salt & Pine for our videography.  The video turned out better than I could ever imagine. It was beautiful. It is so nice to have those memories to watch for the rest of our lives. Paola and Jesse are not only two of the nicest people you will ever meet, but they will make you feel like family when you can’t have family at your own wedding. We had to postpone our big wedding day until next year due to COVID but asked them to film our legal ceremony anyway. We ended up without a coordinator that day but Paola stepped in and helped things run smoothly. She even kept me company while getting my hair and makeup done. No regrets at all. When we had to completely change our summer 2020 wedding plans with less than 2 months notice... we decided on two important things: 1. That we were going to absolutely live it up at our intimate backyard wedding & 2. That we had to capture these memories to look back on for a lifetime. That's where Jesse and Pao came in. From the very beginning, they were extremely responsive to emails and questions. Pao arranged several phone meetings to go over day-of timelines and was very patient with us as we navigated planning this new event which included a lot of "We're not sure's" and "We don't know's". Jesse is actually my older brother's childhood best friend, so it was comforting having them there to share in our celebration. They were extremely professional and we truly would have been so lost without them because Pao ended up coordinating our entire ceremony on the spot... on top of filming! So when we say they are THE BEST at what they do, we mean they are THE. BEST. We would recommend them alone for their expertise in weddings and their ability to mold to any situation and make people feel at ease. But then, you watch their films and you're amazed with them all over again. We couldn't be happier with how ours turned out, they're something we'll treasure for the rest of our lives together. My husband and I recently worked with Salt + Pine for a very intimate announcement video (not a wedding, but just as personal and emotional). I cannot begin to express how incredible our experience was with this duo! They put us at ease immediately, capturing all of the important moments throughout filming while making things feel fun and light. Paola and Jesse were so easy to work with and extremely accommodating of all of our requests. If you are looking for a wedding videographer (or a videographer for really anything) LOOK NO FURTHER. I highly recommend Salt&pine films! We got a highlight video perfect for social media and the raw edit of our ceremony and car parade. It was perfect to be able to share a beautifully edited clip with friends and save the ceremony for our family. Im so happy with how they captured our day! PAOLA AND JESSE ROCK. But we don’t have to tell you guys this! We were so fortunate that we were able to catch them before they BLEW UP with their 2020 Knot award! And it is SO WELL DESERVED. Not only were they super chill and fun to be around all day, but when it came time for them to film us, we didn’t even notice they were there. They were hysterical, went out of the way for us and took risks just to make sure they gave us the perfect footage. They made us feel SO COMFORTABLE, but still kept things super professional. A true perfect balance. They worked so well with our photographers too! And when we got our footage back, we couldn’t have been happier with our trailers! Where do I even begin with this review!?! Honestly, Paola & Jesse are a freaking DREAM. A true, honest to goodness, dream you don’t want to wake up from. The second I stumbled upon their work I had fallen in love. I watched all of their videos, all whilst sobbing of course. They were meant to do this. I was on the fence about whether or not I wanted videography—and I figured I’d reach out and see what happened. After talking to Paola on the phone for an hour (and if you know me, you know I hate talking on the phone) I knew I needed to hire them. We just clicked and connected immediately and I soon realized Paola is legitimately my soul sister. She made me feel so at ease, and was so helpful through the entire process. Jesse & Paola took the time to thoroughly get to know us as a couple and listen to our vision. They are the literal epitome of hashtag couple goals, and work beautifully together— not only as husband and wife, but as professionals. We had a small Halloween elopement in Salem, MA & they were just as excited as us to capture and be part of our dream day. Five stars isn't enough for Pao and Jesse. They are an amazing team and I couldn't of imagined having anyone else there to film our special day! For many, being filmed can be an awkward experience; not an everyday sort of thing. Not when Jesse and Pao are involved! They made the process seamless; they were so approachable and made sure we were comfortable at all times. By the end of the night, it felt like Pao and Jesse were just friends and guests at our wedding, who happened to have some insane cameras and were getting some great footage! Our wedding day was beautifully captured by Paola and Jesse. I'm sure most people agree that photography is a must & a staple for any wedding - but the finished product we received from Salt + Pine was a "need" to have! From our teaser, to our highlight film, to our fully edited wedding portfolio, we were in tears watching our special day through the lens of two incredibly talented individuals. WOW! As the groom, when I first heard "we need to figure out what we're going to do for video" I had one of those "hmm is this something we really need" moments. After playing a few videos from their portfolio, we felt comfortable moving forward with Paola and Jesse. We talked with them a few times before the big day so that we could all be on the same page. And then we had the experience of actually meeting and working with them. If you couldn't already tell from looking at their videos: 1) they are very good at what they do and 2) they care a great deal about the work they produce. We also had a great time working with them! When we were wedding planning, my mom was the one to bring up the idea of a videographer. At first we declined, thinking, we have a really good photographer, what do we need a videographer for? But my mom was insistent so we agreed. Let me tell you.. I now recommend Paola and Jesse to every engaged couple I come across because they are SO GOOD!! Videography is so different from photography at capturing the feel and tone of your wedding day, and Paola and Jesse do such a FANTASTIC job at capturing the little details. They are such a sweet couple, we instantly got along, and it felt so natural to have them around. They blended right in and I barely noticed them videoing us. And their drone work? INCREDIBLE. It took our videos to the next level and made them so professional and high quality feeling. Some videographers look like a wobbly home video, they do such a professional job it could be a movie! Each of their videos that I see just gets better and better. They were so great and timely to correspond with, and they made sure every detail we wanted in our video was there, and composed it so beautifully!! I couldn’t imagine a better wedding video - it blew us away with how gorgeous it came out. And the best part is that it gives others who couldn’t attend the wedding (like our grandparents) such a better experience and allow them to feel like they were really there. So if you’re on the fence about a videographer - you 100% need one. And if you’re on the fence about who to pick, Salt & Pine films is your answer!!!!

Paola and Jesse were absolutely wonderful to work with! They go above and beyond as videographers and make the entire experience feel so personal. They really do their best to get to fully know who you both truly are before the wedding date so they can better capture your day as true to who you are. They are so kind, and genuine as a couple and we just felt so comfortable with them. I had a traditional Hindu wedding and our day was jam packed starting at 8am, and they still went as we were having our buffet lunch to scope out the area to check if there was anywhere close by and nice if we wanted to go to. They go above and beyond all expectations. Paola was also so helpful leading up to the wedding, answering tons of questions I had, even about not videography stuff just weddings in general since she recently got married she was truly a blessing! I cant imagine the day without them! I have recommended them to everyone I know getting married or who will be in the future! They captured moments on our video that you can never capture through pictures, and we are so happy we get to relive these moments on our beautiful video they created for us. I cannot rave about them enough, book them immediately!

Paola and Jesse are amazing! From the beginning Paola made our communication super easy and fluid. They adjusted the proposal to our event and our budget. The best: they have a very beautiful energy that makes them the ideal companions for a moment as exciting and emotional as your wedding. A big plus is that they have their own mobility and are super flexible about it! Jesse has a very good vibe that gives tranquility and zero stress at all times and made us feel very comfortable. Paola is super nice and sweet! She takes care at all times and makes sure you are comfortable and relaxed at all times. When my brother assigned me to find a camera crew for his wedding, I knew two things: I needed someone I could depend upon to deliver professional grade media, and someone I could work well with. Paola and Jesse are exactly that. Professionally, I am a feature and broadcast post editor in Los Angeles, so trust me when I say: I am extraordinarily picky and critical of who I choose to hire for anything media related ESPECIALLY when it comes to a family event. These are memories that are precious, and deserve the best quality recording and media management. Paola and Jesse delivered. They even were kind enough to work with my eccentricities and specifications. As a wedding present, I told my brother I would take care of all the editing, coloring, and finishing. Jesse and Paola were able to record in the professional RAW files I am used to working with in Log, in mixed resolutions (1080p and 4k), as well as mixed frame rates (23.98, 24, and 60fps). While I realize I am not the average costumer for wedding videography, the fact that this team was able to provide a standard that meets broadcast qualifications speaks volumes. I love that I was able to collaborate with them, and really negotiate the fine details! If you're someone who wants the best for your wedding videography, I hope this review helps quench any doubts you might have about who to hire. I cannot say enough about Paola & Jesse! I have been wanting to write this review for a long time now but I still don’t think I have the words to do it justice. They are just incredibly wonderful, and the sweetest couple - so kind, caring and Amazingly creative. Super easy to work with and very detail oriented. They know just how to capture all of the moments that mean so much. A photo album is certainly wonderful but a video is truly priceless. The sweet, forgotten moments (how he caught his breath when he saw her coming down the aisle, a slight nod or gesture) these are the details that escape a photograph. Paola & Jesse are incredibly talented and will weave your story into a masterpiece of beauty and emotion. The aerial drone footage really takes it to another level and it is so incredibly artistic how even the beats and timing of the music seem to match the clips on the screen.
