f my destination wedding in San Diego. You can imagine how stressful it could have been to plan a wedding from another state (we live in Texas), but Alyssa really took on the majority of the burden. As a bride who knew nothing about weddings, Alyssa talked me through everything from save the dates/invitations and general wedding preparation timelines, to rehearsal dinner and finances, and MANY 'things to consider' that never crossed my mind. She was flexible in allowing me to be as hands off or involved as I wanted to be. Alyssa was very communicative throughout the whole process (including tolerating my spontaneous semi-panicked texts at random hours) and our phone/video conversations brought me peace during some high stress moments. Alyssa is thorough, organized, thoughtful, creative, and professional, and it felt like she deeply cared about the details and flow of our wedding as if it were her own. My husband and I weren't even sure how we wanted the decor and layout of the big day to look, but somehow Alyssa captured our aesthetic and 'vibe' perfectly. That includes the bar menu, which was she helped put together and was perfection. She also has a network of vendors within different price points whom she can refer, and the ones she found for us were wonderful. Alyssa truly made our wedding memorable and stress free and an event my husband and I could just enjoy with the people around us. That day was the MOST FUN we have ever had. y husband's desire to have a fun, go with the flow day that didn't break the bank. We threw an instant curve ball at her by deciding to have a destination wedding. But she came through and was able to secure great local vendors with whom she had no prior contact with and she traveled to the destination without question. We even changed some things last minute and she was able to execute on those changes with grace and ease. Throughout the planning process, she was flexible and entertained my myriad of half-baked, whimsical ideas. I think I changed my vision for the wedding at least a dozen times, but she accepted every change with a smile and a get-it-done attitude. The week of the wedding, her flights were cancelled and her travel was a mess, but she still arrived with a smile on her face. She even went to local flower shops to get some extra florals for the wedding. She went so far above and beyond what we hired her for -- truly the day would not have happened without her amazing support and professionalism. I am so sad that my wedding is over and our professional relationship has come to an end. If you are in the planning process of your wedding, I hope this review will help you in your decision to book Alyssa as your planner. There are many things I'd change about my wedding day, but hiring Alyssa was not one of those things. Alyssa, thank you a million times for your incredible work ethic, your kindness, and your smiling face.

th a change of Ownership/Management at our booked wedding venue. The original gal who booked our wedding was outstanding! Long story short, this wonderful gal ended up taking a job elsewhere. Our newly assigned Event Coordinator preferred working Corporate Events. Her heart was simply not into "weddings." My questions were infrequently answered, and I always felt like a bother! I decided to hire a Wedding Coordinator to be a go between and assist with wedding prep and challenges on our wedding day. I spoke with several Wedding Coordinators, but Alyssa was different. I felt instant chemistry with her! Alyssa was so kind and understanding when I first reached out to her and explained my/our dilemma. During our very first phone conversation, it felt liked she removed this big stormy rain cloud from above! In fact, she shared her own personal story, with me, which no doubt led to her successful career in wedding planning today! I knew Alyssa was going to be the best Wedding Coordinator for us. Her easy going, yet strong personality, made me feel immediately at ease! Listed below are a few examples of how Alyssa made our Wedding Planning and Day of go smoothly: Alyssa is organized and professional. From Day 1, she stayed in touch with, both myself and the Event Coordinator at the Resort, in a timely manner. We were finally all on the same page. One of Alyssa's strengths is communication and follow up. We had scheduled zoom meetings, with the Resort Event Coordinator, to go over different stages of my wedding planning. In addition, Alyssa created a wedding timeline and reached out to everyone on our Wedding Vendor List. If there were any schedule conflicts, Alyssa did her best to work with the Event Coordinator at the Resort, to resolve things. The Day prior to our Wedding, Alyssa met with our Wedding Party and organized a most professional and enjoyable Wedding Rehearsal! She took the time, in advance, to learn about Jewish Weddings. She also had music downloaded in advance for our wedding rehearsal. On the Day of our Wedding, Alyssa was punctual, organized and ready to put dreams into action. She went through many labeled bins for various tables, i.e. our Memory Table, Welcome Table, Sweetheart Table, and she lovingly set everything up as if it were her own Wedding. When I realized our Florists had left and did not hand out corsages or pin boutonniers, Alyssa jumped in without hesitation. She was friendly and accommodating not only to my Fiance and I, but to everyone. Our wedding guests all noticed and were impressed! At the end of the evening, after our beautiful reception concluded, Alyssa had all of our empty bins refilled, all of our gifts and cards, ready to be packed in cars to perfection! And then . . . above and beyond . . . a surprise for me. My new husband and I were staying on property at the resort, less than five minutes away from where the reception was held. My husband thought I looked like a Princess, and felt I should be driven back to our unit in a really nice car. It was too late at night to rent a car. Alyssa offered to drive us back to our unit, in her car, which was lovely! She even decorated her car with some of our wedding decorations. Forever grateful to Alyssa, Ellen Conrad

Alyssa was the first person to offer me day-of coordination & also assistance at the rehearsal the day before the wedding. Although, she started phone calls and coordination for my wedding way before the day-of! She's truly a hard worker and someone who does not think that any specific task is outside of the scope of her position. She coordinated smoothly with my vendors and assisted with anything and everything that came up on the day of the wedding. She was also sweet enough to take home cases of wine + our leftover wedding cake to store at her house until we could pick them up the day after our wedding. Thanks again Alyssa!
