u will not regret choosing her for a big decision like this!

comprehensive documentation of the entire wedding day! The other photographers agreed to be there at 2pm and 4pm (which was definitely enough photos for our ceremony and reception) but everyone was afraid we wouldn’t get the cute “getting ready” photos. Kat was there with her multiple cameras to save the day!!! She also used 35mm film, which I was not familiar with; however, those were probably some of the best shots we received!! Upon looking at some of the raw photos (even before edits) I was already welling up with happy tears!! I was so pleasantly impressed with the amount of effort Kat put into the wedding day with all of the thousands of photos she took all day, paired with the quality of each photo. Most importantly, I also specifically asked Kat and the other photographers for candid and casual photos to capture the day because my husband is very camera shy, which Kat delivered! I got all the genuine/laughing photos where my husband looks happy and confident rather than stiff and posed. Side note: I also don’t like the way I personally look in the dramatic, moody, “soft smile” photos. These candid photos were actually better because my mom was regretting not being in more posed photos (because she does not like being photographed) but Kat had so many behind the scenes photos of my mom smiling throughout the morning, which made my mom feel so much better about the wedding photography. Thank you, Kat, for making my wedding day so memorable!

y our side throughout the day and she captured all of our moments beautifully. She is thoughtful, creative, adaptable, and optimistic, making her the perfect addition to your wedding day. We are so grateful to have stunning photos to treasure forever thanks to Salt and Stone!

mmediate families 10 miles outside of Glacier National Park. Afterwards, we went into the park for photos. Kat scoped out several good locations along the Going to the Sun Road, and they provided beautiful backdrops. She arrived early to the church to capture some photos of the ceremony too, which we hadn't originally requested, but they turned out beautiful. We're so glad that she did! Ahead of time she explained that she does photojournalism, and we love the candids in addition to the more traditional posed photos. Kat was very dedicated to making sure we got what we wanted from the photos and the experience. She was also super flexible as we had to change our schedule due to mountain rains. Kat was great to work with, and we're so grateful for her capturing our wedding day!
