Jennifer at Salt Cake City was one of the kindest, most professional, and responsive people I worked with while planning my wedding and I am SO glad I chose to have her do my wedding cake. The cake turned out exactly how I pictured it (rustic/boho/wild flower vibe) and everyone was raving about how delicious it was! We decided to do a 3 (6-9-12) tier all different flavors (chocolate on top, red velvet in the middle, and lemon poppy seed on the bottom) for ~130 guests. All 3 were absolutely amazing but oh man, the lemon poppy seed tasted just like home and I cannot recommend it enough! I've been eating it for breakfast every day since the wedding! You will not regret choosing Salt Cake City!

If you need a wedding cake, Salt Cake City is the place to go. We received tons of positive comments about our cake both for taste and design. Jennifer designed a mountain cake with blue accents and it was stunning. To give you an idea of how good the cake tasted - we had ~55 guests, we ordered a cake for 75 and our guests almost finished the cake (most people had 2nds lol). We ordered three flavors, oreo, coconut and boston cream, all were delicious and balanced (not overly sweet or rich). Prior to our event, the tasting experience was great. Jennifer recommended a few flavors in addition to what we asked to try. All her flavors are good and it helped us feel confident in our decision. This review doesn’t do the experience justice, just try it for yourself and you’ll be glad you did.

Our cake was beautiful! Exactly what I asked for, and was so delicious! The cupcakes were so cute and tasty as well (at least from what I heard) they were gone before I even got to try them. My guests complimented the cakes/cupcakes over and over again!

I can't even begin to say how amazing and talented Jennifer is! Our wedding cake was everything that we hoped it would be, and more. It was stunning and Jennifer was so awesome about putting in small little details that we specifically asked for. I was so impressed with it and still am. I really loved that she does cake tasting, because my husband and I would have been completely lost for what flavors we wanted, if we didn't get to taste test anything. She seriously knows her stuff. I highly recommend getting your wedding cake from Salt Cake City!

Jennifer did such an amazing job with our cake! My mom had a very specific vision she wanted and Jennifer was able to deliver it with some personal touches that represented my husband and myself. Her cakes are also unbelievably delicious! You can't ask for a better experience. She's also super friendly and fun to work with!

My husband and I ordered a few mini cakes to celebrate our first anniversary. Jennifer went above and beyond to make the occasion special for us! She prepared all four of the flavors we had at our wedding AND designed the cakes to replicate our wedding cakes! It was such a wonderful surprise! And the cakes were delicious!

PERFECT! After sending a few photos back and forth, we got the perfect vision of what we wanted and Jennifer brought it to life beautifully for us. We had a GORGEOUS cake and it was also delicious. Flavors and texture were excellent. Highly recommend!!

If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would! Jennifer is an absolute delight to work with, and her cakes look and taste AMAZING! I live in another state so coordinating a wedding from afar was a bit tough, but Jennifer was SO flexible and willing to help answer all of the random ideas I had. She responds very quickly, is extremely creative, and even let us do a tasting a week before the wedding since it was the only time I was in SLC. I had sent Jennifer a picture of a little campfire toy I was hoping she could reproduce in cake form for our topper, and she went above and beyond. I let Jennifer have a little freedom in creating our topper for our cake, and she went above and beyond what I could imagine. She also included a little nod to our honeymoon on the cake, with mountains around the side of the cake and direction signs to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. We also got mini cupcakes from Jennifer and they were a HIT. We had so many compliments on how delicious each flavor was (we got Smores, Spice cake, and Mexican Chocolate Chip). Her prices are also great compared to other bakers in the area. If you are even questioning who to get, I would add Salt Cake City on social media and see the AMAZING creations she makes. You won't be disappointed.

As far as taste goes? This cake is delicious. It is simply to die for. Her filled cupcakes were simply amazing. The owner is friendly and willing to accommodate. She offered suggestions when I got stuck or was indecisive. When I eventually settled on a cake and later changed my mind, she was a great sport about it and even reassured me that when I worried that it would be too much trouble. All in all, I'm super happy with my choice and I would definitely pick her again. I went with a Companion Cube cake. It looked AWESOME!

Jennifer was amazing to work with. She had great cake flavor options, was very responsive with our questions and is very reasonably priced. Our cake was simple yet beautiful. Everyone loved all the unique flavors. The florist did not leave enough flowers for decorating so Jennifer took it upon herself to find more to add to the cake and it looked perfect!!

Jennifer did the cakes for two of our friends' weddings, and they both raved about how great she was to work with. So when I saw she was going to be at the Park City Bridal Fair, we went to meet her. Jennifer is SO friendly and a pleasure to work with! She spent a lot of time working with us to make sure we got the cake of our dreams within our budget. Our cake was not the typical wedding cake, and she really went above and beyond on the decorations. And her cakes taste FANTASTIC! The cake tasting was the best. We're definitely going to be getting more cakes from her in the future. Highly recommend!

Jennifer was wonderful to work with. Her cakes are amazing and she has so many delicious flavors to choose from. We got to taste several before making our final decision. I went with a specific idea and design in mind and she made sure to capture that perfectly in all our cakes. We had a main cake, two satellite cakes, and a secret groom cake. She delivered on time and I would recommend her to anyone!

I loved working with Jennifer! She was so easy to work with! Cake was amazingly delicious- best cake I ever had! I had a budget for my cake but went way over and don't regret it at all. Service was excellent. Cake was excellent. Couldn't say enough wonderful things about it- oh and it was all the guests talked about.

I worked with a lot of people while planning our wedding and Jennifer was by far the best and easiest person to work with. She even helped with ideas of how to make the cake even better. It was so perfect and it tasted delicious!! A lot of wedding cakes fondant it not the best tasting but Jennifer's is amazing because she makes a homemade marshmallow fondant. Also she has so many flavors to choose from for filling, we did Oreo because my husband loves Oreos and we loved it. We were not able to take any of ours home, because everyone ate it but we look forward to ordering a replica of the top of layer for our 1 year anniversary! I highly recommend Salt Cake City!
