Parkway in Dana Point, just a few blocks north of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, St. Regis
Resort and Spa, and just South of the Montage Resort & Spa. The property combines
craftsman-style architecture with warm surroundings to create a casual elegance

Salt Creek Grille has established a solid reputation by providing memorable

n their Monarch Room. Both events were AMAZING! The food is wonderful, and the rooms have elegant decorations. The staff even put out small terrariums with winter foliage in them on the tables as decoration. The whole restaurant is decorated with dark wood, with classic lines and elegant features. There is even a patio with a fire pit, and a large courtyard for bigger events. The members of the waitstaff at both events were attentive, professional, kind, and fun. My guests had an amazing time, and we were so happy to have the events to catch up with friends and family! I would like to make a special shout-out to Helen for helping me through the entire planning process, always responding to my emails and questions, and overall being a wonderful person! Thanks Salt Creek Grille! I recommend this place to anyone looking to host an event of any size!

e for our reception. There are a lot of menu options for events and everything is priced clearly (which we really appreciated).
Second, the event coordinators. Helen and Chelsea were always responsive within a few days and I felt sincerely taken care of during planning. Helen was always flexible to meet with me if I wanted to go over details in person. They're both very organized, which eased my anxiety of forgetting any details. There is an option for day-of coordination, in which they will coordinate your event from set-up to break-down. I sent them pictures of what I wanted for decor, dropped the decor off the day before, and picked it up the day after. That's it (amazing). The reception ran very smoothly and they were always working to make sure that we were on time with main events (and that we were having a good time!). Our guests loved them!
Third, the space. We held our reception in the outdoor patio. We had about 70 people, which felt like a good amount for the space (though I believe they can fit like 100). The space is simplistic enough to get dressed up as much as you'd like, but is still really cute with minimal extra decor. There was enough space for a photo booth as well, which was great!
I would totally recommend Salt Creek to anyone planning an event (or just eating). The value was amazing compared to other venues in the area, and I honestly can't think of any complaints regarding my wedding reception or interactions with Helen and Chelsea.

isited and the best overall as far as price and everything that's included. I worked with Helen and Chelsea who were phenomenal to work with. They answered all my questions and told me things that I had not even thought about. I ended up hiring a wedding planner who essentially handled everything for me and took over the communication with the venue and I heard nothing but great things from my planner . This venue was so great for my wedding of 75 people because they include so many things like table and chair rentals, linens, cocktail hour, valet, and a sit down dinner which was so good!! I was amazed at how much you get considering most venues in Orange County charge an outrageous venue fee just to rent the space. Salt Creek is one of the best venues in Orange County and their food is amazing and the best wedding food that I have ever had! All of my guests complimented the venue and food and I did not hear one complaint. Overall I would hands down recommend this venue and their great staff!!!

l place for our occasion - a baby shower! We were enthusiastically helped by Helen McClaire with all the details and also by Chelsea. Helen made us feel that a friend was assisting us and that she truly wanted this special day to be the best for our Mommy-to Be.
The baby shower took place on the patio and looked festive and colorful, with our pink and gold flowers and decorations. The menu was perfect for a Saturday late morning to early afternoon party. Helen and Chelsea helped us choose the ideal items for a champagne brunch, complete with Mimosas and Hibiscus cocktails. Our guests enjoyed Eggs Benedict and Mini Quiches, along with fruit platters and pastry treats – and the best coffee ever! Everything during the shower was overseen and served by Connor to perfection.

This venue is great for a smaller outdoor wedding reception on their patio. The food was amazing but don't have more than 110 people if you want to be comfortable.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was also very cozy. The private room for 25 was set up like a family room. It had a flat screen TV and fireplace, bookshelf, etc... It made us feel right at home.
