We held 2 events at Salt Creek Grille the day before our wedding: one was a Rehearsal brunch for 20 people in their Mason Library, and the other was a cocktail hour for 50 people i...
n their Monarch Room. Both events were AMAZING! The food is wonderful, and the rooms have elegant decorations. The staff even put out small terrariums with winter foliage in them on the tables as decoration. The whole restaurant is decorated with dark wood, with classic lines and elegant features. There is even a patio with a fire pit, and a large courtyard for bigger events. The members of the waitstaff at both events were attentive, professional, kind, and fun. My guests had an amazing time, and we were so happy to have the events to catch up with friends and family! I would like to make a special shout-out to Helen for helping me through the entire planning process, always responding to my emails and questions, and overall being a wonderful person! Thanks Salt Creek Grille! I recommend this place to anyone looking to host an event of any size!
Helen and her staff (Ryan, Connor, and Tyler) did an amazing job hosting our rehearsal dinner at SCG. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. Everyone that attended had a gr...
eat time, and we were well taken care of. We would recommend this venue for any event!
Helen and Chelsea are seriously the best to work with when planning your wedding at this great venue! I felt like they sincerely cared as much as I did during the entire process. ...
I would highly recommend everyone to have their reception here!
This place was amazing.
First of all, the food. My fiance and I had lunch here on the day we met with one of the event coordinators and were convinced that this was the right plac...
e for our reception. There are a lot of menu options for events and everything is priced clearly (which we really appreciated).
Second, the event coordinators. Helen and Chelsea were always responsive within a few days and I felt sincerely taken care of during planning. Helen was always flexible to meet with me if I wanted to go over details in person. They're both very organized, which eased my anxiety of forgetting any details. There is an option for day-of coordination, in which they will coordinate your event from set-up to break-down. I sent them pictures of what I wanted for decor, dropped the decor off the day before, and picked it up the day after. That's it (amazing). The reception ran very smoothly and they were always working to make sure that we were on time with main events (and that we were having a good time!). Our guests loved them!
Third, the space. We held our reception in the outdoor patio. We had about 70 people, which felt like a good amount for the space (though I believe they can fit like 100). The space is simplistic enough to get dressed up as much as you'd like, but is still really cute with minimal extra decor. There was enough space for a photo booth as well, which was great!
I would totally recommend Salt Creek to anyone planning an event (or just eating). The value was amazing compared to other venues in the area, and I honestly can't think of any complaints regarding my wedding reception or interactions with Helen and Chelsea.

mazing job helping me work through all the details and plan the event. On the day of Kyle, Ryan and Lucas took such great care of our party. They were attentive, organized and friendly! Thank you Salt Creek Grille for an amazing night!!
I had my wedding (ceremony & reception) here in October 2015. I searched for many months looking for a venue for a Saturday evening. Salt Creek was one of the first places that I v...
isited and the best overall as far as price and everything that's included. I worked with Helen and Chelsea who were phenomenal to work with. They answered all my questions and told me things that I had not even thought about. I ended up hiring a wedding planner who essentially handled everything for me and took over the communication with the venue and I heard nothing but great things from my planner . This venue was so great for my wedding of 75 people because they include so many things like table and chair rentals, linens, cocktail hour, valet, and a sit down dinner which was so good!! I was amazed at how much you get considering most venues in Orange County charge an outrageous venue fee just to rent the space. Salt Creek is one of the best venues in Orange County and their food is amazing and the best wedding food that I have ever had! All of my guests complimented the venue and food and I did not hear one complaint. Overall I would hands down recommend this venue and their great staff!!!
After searching out several venues in the surrounding communities and not finding the right environment and cooperation from their event coordinators, we fortunately chose the idea...
l place for our occasion - a baby shower! We were enthusiastically helped by Helen McClaire with all the details and also by Chelsea. Helen made us feel that a friend was assisting us and that she truly wanted this special day to be the best for our Mommy-to Be.
The baby shower took place on the patio and looked festive and colorful, with our pink and gold flowers and decorations. The menu was perfect for a Saturday late morning to early afternoon party. Helen and Chelsea helped us choose the ideal items for a champagne brunch, complete with Mimosas and Hibiscus cocktails. Our guests enjoyed Eggs Benedict and Mini Quiches, along with fruit platters and pastry treats – and the best coffee ever! Everything during the shower was overseen and served by Connor to perfection.
We would definitely choose Salt Creek Grille for any future celebrations.

y. If you're looking for a beautiful, seaside reception site with first-class staff, top-notch food and drink, and pricing that cannot be beat, look no further than Salt Creek Grille. Helen and her team's attention to detail, flexibility and patience are unparalleled. We liked the patio when we initially booked our day; to our surprise, the new renovations made the patio even better. Our guests cannot stop the rave reviews for the food. This venue was the perfect size for our 100 guests.
Salt Creek has very competitive wedding packages. Their appetizers are to die for and their entrees world class. We highly recommend this location.
Even though I didn't get to eat, my guests loved it. Highly recommended.

o an outdoor reception venue again
This venue is great for a smaller outdoor wedding reception on their patio. The food was amazing but don't have more than 110 people if you want to be comfortable.
We had a rehearsal dinner at Salt Creek and I could not get over how great their food was. We were able to select 3 appetizers and had a choice between steak, chicken, or seafood. ...
Everything was great and they allowed us to bring in our own bottles of wine.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was also very cozy. The private room for 25 was set up like a family room. It had a flat screen TV and fireplace, bookshelf, etc... It made us feel right at home.
The food was amazing. The service was great and their event coordinator was incredibly attentive.;It can be windy. I wouldn't suggest tall centerpieces.
