ur wedding but I wish we would have found her sooner. Being a local she knows all the vendors, locations, she's familiar with the weather and how to make a wedding day truly spectacular. We had a destination wedding and most of our wedding was all sight unseen but everything worked out perfectly with the management of Erica. She is more involved than we even realized until on the wedding day when we didn't have to do anything but enjoy ourselves as she coordinated all vendors and their setup. If you are getting married then I would highly recommend adding Salt Wife Weddings to your must have vendor list. Chris & I can't thank you enough for making our wedding day perfect!

time I found Erica but if I can offer any advice to brides is that YES you do need a planner and for more than 30 days out! It really is true that the planner works for your best interest to make sure YOU are not stressed the day of. Erica went so above and beyond. When our place cards didn't come in she MADE us cute place cards. She wrangled rowdy groomsmen with ease, kept the timeline flowing and made sure everything looked perfect. My advice would be to START by hiring Erica so she can guide you through the whole process. We are SO lucky we had her making our day seamless and enjoyable!

She is not only a wedding planner, but a therapist, a creative genius, the most organized person I’ve ever met, a hard worker, and an overall passionate, amazing human being. Throughout this planning process, she has become a friend to me. She cares about executing your vision just as much as you do. she is thoughtful and has a genuine heart of gold. I had absolutely ZERO stress of my wedding day or leading up to it because she is so on top of everything that i was able to enjoy every moment. She goes WAY above and beyond for her clients (and when i say this i mean literally offering signage, artistic touches of decor, honest opinions based on her expertise, ETC ETC) There is NO way on planet earth we would have been able to plan and execute our wedding vision without her. You literally NEED her. I will never stop raving over how absolutely fantastic she is as a planner and as a person. The wedding industry is cutthroat and i cannot stress the importance of having a wedding coordinator with you throughout the entire process that truly understands your vision and is invested in bringing it to life, to review your contracts with other vendors, to remind you of deadlines for payment, to coordinate timelines with all of your vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly the day of, to recommend vendors that she knows do a great job and work well together.... there is SO much more that goes into weddings than you initially realize when you start the planning process. Our wedding was the best day of our lives BECAUSE of Erica. So do not hesitate for a single second, stop reading reviews and book Salt Wife Weddings. It’ll be the best decision you EVER make for your wedding day.

When I started to get completely overwhelmed, I interviewed a few planners and, just minutes into my phone call with Erica, I knew she was the one! Honestly, my only regret is not working with her sooner. My now-husband John and I booked Erica for her wedding management package, and it was the best decision we made. Erica knows Islamorada and its event scene intimately; she is a wedding planning pro; and she has a huge heart. She thought of *everything* in the planning process and helped us navigate through details stress-free. She was always there to help us brainstorm ideas, problem solve, make recommendations, and more. Importantly, she got to know John and me on a personal level and helped really make our day authentic to us as a couple. When I first talked with Erica, I told her my biggest fear for the wedding day was that I would be so stressed that I wouldn’t be present enough to enjoy the moment. Erica saved me from myself and pulled off a completely stress-free wedding day. It was honestly a dream day, and it’s all thanks to Erica. She worked outside in the heat all day long to set up our ceremony and reception space and made sure the whole event went seamlessly from start to finish. We did not have a videographer, and Erica was thoughtful enough to record our vows during the ceremony on her phone. I can’t tell you how much that level of thoughtfulness means when it comes to your wedding day. I truly could write a book about how awesome Erica is. Without a doubt, our day would not have been possible without her. Don’t be silly and wait like I did — hire Erica ASAP. You will be so grateful you did.
