Can not say enough about their professionalism, communication, work ethic, and kindness. Besides that, the venue was amazing to work at as well. They planned it out well for vendors, which is not always the case. As DJs, sometimes it’s difficult to find power sources in the right places, and consideration on setup. The Salt Water crew was on top of it the whole way, and successfully met all of our needs and more. All that to say, cant recommend Salt Water enough to all vendors and possible couples/event planners. All class and top shelf service. Cant wait to go back and work more events! Thanks SW Team!

From a vendor perspective, the space is incredibly well laid out and functional, allowing the day to flow effortlessly. The setting provided beautiful light throughout the day, endless backdrops for portraits, and a relaxed yet refined ambiance that allowed Kristin & John’s celebration to feel intimate, joyful, and timeless. The blooming lavender and garden spaces were a dream to photograph. What stood out most was how the venue enhanced the entire experience—not just visually, but emotionally. It gave the couple and their guests space to slow down, connect, and truly savor the moment, which translated beautifully in the photos. I would wholeheartedly recommend Saltwater Farm to any couple looking for a stunning, serene wedding venue in the San Juan Islands. It was an honor to capture a wedding there, and I would love the opportunity to return.

The architecture of the large house, reception barn, and all the amazing cabins. The dark, modern structures look stunning against the natural landscape. 3. The staff and food have always been wonderful - the cocktails and food in the summer have always been delicious, and staff are super helpful, friendly, and make everything run smoothly! This is my favorite place to visit each summer and I can't wait for my next wedding there this July!

answered their phone, called back, nor responded to our email. The website looks nice but the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced with a rental. I cannot recommend this location considering how bad our experience dealing with them has been.
